I am from ps1 era too and even if PS has improved a lot, nothing beats the fun I had as a kid playing the ps1. The nostalgia. Games before may not have good graphics as today but the games themselves were really fun. Only people who had ps1 or 2 will understand.
@@arkyg4022 I've cleaned my Ps4 many times. I take off the bottom plate and power unit, then i clean the fan and heatsink. Whole process takes about 10 minutes or less. The most fragile part inside the console is probably bluetooth antenna and im always very careful to not touch it.
@@arkyg4022 That's easy fix, order a new part :) First time when i cleaned my console i accidentally broke the bluetooth antenna with my vacuum cleaner and my controller stopped working, but luckily i had spare Ps3 which antenna fits to Ps4.

while they are going to be smaller, its not going to be a big difference. only a few gigs. the new spider man game is only 2gigs less on the ps5, than on the ps4.
@@jayykellyxiii4910 yes, but because of the ssd, things do not need to be duplicated a bunch of times because the fast seek speeds can find it basically instantly, instead of having it 100 times in a bunch of different places on a hard drive. so no corners were cut, they just got rid of duplicated files because they are no longer needed on the ssd.

I use the trophies as a way to challenge myself after the game is done. I don't really care about unlocking the trophies just doing the challenges they present. Like complete the game without powers or find all the hidden loot on every map. Stuff like that give me a reason to go back and play it again.
At first I never bothered but then I found hunting them could add some extra enjoyment to the game and I get a few more hours out of them. If course there are times like in neverwinter for example killing 1000 dragons wasnt fun and wasted my time! Each to their own lol
At first I seriously thought the trophies were glitched. I kind of liked the old way since getting to the next level was an adventure in on itself slowly getting to the next level and I just got my level 19 too so I'm sad to see it go.
XBOX fans are ruining my experience honestly. They even use the smallest details as an "insult" (like the stand). And obviously they bring up the "XBOX gamepass". Its so annoying and honestly i think im nevere gonna get console anymore.

Thank goodness they fixed the cooling. My PS4 literally sounded like a miniature jet engine like you said. I once put it inside my TV stand and closed the door the system generated so much heat that the door to the TV stand got hot. And I wasn’t even playing it. It heated up just by sitting there on standby.

I was somewhat the posterchild of ''best graphics =/= best game'' on my school when everyone was going crazy about how awesome the PS3 was, and the stuff I was playing was far to ugly to be enjoyable. Now what I actually wanted to say haha, I often think about how unimaginably foreign older games are going to be to folks younger than you and I 20-30 years from now. For me the history of the gaming industry was in a recent past, wasn't to much and was very cheap compared to the insane prices of old gaming related hardware when they released. If you were born at the moment the PS5 launched, I wonder how far away the old stuff will seem like. Once it isn't a matter of 20 -40 years ago but 60-80, a whole grandparent generation difference.

There were no stand up consoles until a game called Red Baron came along in the local bowling alley. It had a window and, inside it was a diarama with a little model plane on a wire that just went around in circles! There wasn't ANY screen until "Space..Shit, I can't even remember the name of that one but there was one before Pong. Pong just took it mainstream. Then came the Atari 2600 and everything changed! I'm not planning to get a ps5 at launch. I have to plan to get a ps5 next year because this year is so weird with the virus. I'm still using a trash TV lo that makes my ps3 games look pretty. Even though I'm not ready to leave my ps4 knowing theres massive games I need to play and finish on ps4. Glad theres backwards compatibility for the ps5 which encourage me to get the ps5 sooner than just waiting for 2 more years after its release.

From the 90's? HA! I am from the 80's. Well, that was the time in my life I was "immortal". Born in the 60's, I know and experienced gaming from the beginning. It is getting so fun! Nice video btw you whipper snapper.
I'm born in early 90's. And even though I was young at the time I still grew up with a fair amount of older stuff, either from my dad who still plays Playstation, or through my own interest in older games and their hardware. I was somewhat the posterchild of ''best graphics =/= best game'' on my school when everyone was going crazy about how awesome the PS3 was, and the stuff I was playing was far to ugly to be enjoyable.
Now what I actually wanted to say haha, I often think about how unimaginably foreign older games are going to be to folks younger than you and I 20-30 years from now. For me the history of the gaming industry was in a recent past, wasn't to much and was very cheap compared to the insane prices of old gaming related hardware when they released.
If you were born at the moment the PS5 launched, I wonder how far away the old stuff will seem like. Once it isn't a matter of 20 -40 years ago but 60-80, a whole grandparent generation difference.

From the 90's?! Buddy, I've been here since the days of Pong! I remember when Pinball machines were all you found. There were no stand up consoles until a game called Red Baron came along in the local bowling alley. It had a window and, inside it was a diarama with a little model plane on a wire that just went around in circles! There wasn't ANY screen until "Space..Shit, I can't even remember the name of that one but there was one before Pong. Pong just took it mainstream. Then came the Atari 2600 and everything changed! I still have a Magnavox Odyssey still in the box, with all 12...yeah 12!games in their boxes too. Two of them came with complete board games along with the carts. Now, that's old!

I'm not planning to get a ps5 at launch. I have to plan to get a ps5 next year because this year is so weird with the virus. I'm still using a trash TV lo that makes my ps3 games look pretty. Even though I'm not ready to leave my ps4 knowing theres massive games I need to play and finish on ps4. Glad theres backwards compatibility for the ps5 which encourage me to get the ps5 sooner than just waiting for 2 more years after its release.
