Because satan's personal messengers went deeper into the fiery abyss of hell to tell the CEO of adobe to make his overpriced, borderline malware app a herculean task to uninstall.
It does override the windows native uninstall process, but it doesn't override booting to a linux usb and forcibly nuking it that way, because windows isn't even running at all so there's nothing to forcibly override. You can fix literally any sticky windows bug like this even if you don't use linux for anything else at all. It should always be the last option, but it's always still an option.
Just so you know, do this last. The tool does everything automatically. If you do it this way, you are in for a loooooong manual slog, but nothing can really stop you from doing it. It will just take a lot of time to do.
Forever grateful, I had so much trouble to delete a free trial for photoshop and after 3 hours of phone calls and tears I finally canceled it. I then proceeded to delete the files but it was not working and it all started again. But your video came up and saved me. Thanks so much!!!!

Whoever thought it was smart to require an Adobe login to delete Adobe off of a device should be sent directly to the center of hell. It constantly runs on a computer, taking up resources, and deleting it is absolutely horrendous, even for a novice IT technician.

Hi Tzlil. I'm sure I went through the process once or twice to get everything removed. Revo uninstaller wasn't able to get everything. Only the official solution worked, unfortunately.
@Kevin Muldoon - Was the registry checked for Adobe entries after using their cleaner? Can trust them after pretty much hijacks a computer - I'm close to calling it a virus.
I remember checking in windows and Revo afterwards and not seeing anything, but I'm not 100% sure the registry was clean. I agree. Adobe apps are incredibly invasive.

So Adobe Photoshop stop working the other day the Nora filters said that they are disabled from Adobe. I spend $50 a month for my Adobe package. And I have 1000 photo photo shoot that I'm trying to edit and for it to stop working right now when I'm on a time crunch is unacceptable. I uninstalled Adobe Photoshop 2022, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud all off of my computer but there is a remnant of what it is telling me Adobe 2019 which I've never installed on this brand new computer that's only 3 months old. The Remnant Adobe 2019 is 3.21 GB and no matter how many times I uninstall it it will not uninstall then when I go to reinstall all my software even though I told her don't remember anything all my settings are magically saved and everything goes back to the way it was which is not what I want! I want to be able to reinstall all my neuro filter so that they work properly!

When done if I reload the uninstall it only shows fix host file (1) and removes all (2) But when I go back into the Windows apps and features I have two versions of dimensions, and 9 versions of Substance 3D. If I try to uninstall any of them I get a message: specified product not installed on this machine. quit the installer and start over. WTF ADOBE!!!! It is worse than a fucking VIRUS!!!! All the programs are still on my machine. Of course, I can simply delete the folders but they are still stuck in my registry like a fucking tick. This is fucking making me insane!!!!! I have over 1TB, yes 1 Terabyte with a T of software installed on my machine and the only way I can completely remove Adobe from my machine is to fucking reinstall the entire operating system and 1TB of apps? Seriously, this should be grounds for a class-action suit against Adobe! It is MY machine and paid for software but I can never remove it now unless I buy a new license to get to the desktop removal tool!!!! BTW there are two versions of the Adobe removal tool now. I didn't realise there were two removal tools. Is one for an earlier version? When I used the tool, it did successfully remove everything. I only used it after trying all other methods. I wouldn't use Adobe again.

I used the older one like yours and it says it removed everything but I still have 2 copies of dimensions, 9 versions of substance 3d and I can see old vestiges of older versions of adobe stuff still on my system and a metric button of adobe stuff in my registry which I am afraid to delete. if I try toe uninstall any of them normally I get that message specified product is not on this machine. quit the installer and start over. But the programs are still in my apps list and in the program folders. I can launch them still!!! So I hve not fucking way to do I full clean of adobe from my system and registry without a full fucking reinstall of my entire os and over 1TB of installed apps!!~!~
It doesn't surprise me. Their whole service is a joke. Premiere Pro crashed on me for years and their support was non existent. If I remember right, I had to reinstall programs to then remove them fully.
Agreed. I'm still confused as to why they feel they need to install their software like a virus. I don't see how that benefits them when they sell premium/paid software.

Can you right click videos and open them in another program?
By the sounds of it, you need to change the default program for videos.

Im not sure about the process of reinstalling that particular version, but this app seems to be the best way to remove Adobe products.

My adobe premiere pro setup is not uninstalled. It only removes the program and not the set up of it. What to do?

It's like a virus. It acts like malware rather than software that costs $50 per month.

I took the easier route of just cancelling my membership. I wouldn't go back to using them. There's better alternatives for what I do
