    Great video!! but use a flat shovel to remove baseboard and casing, it’s so much cleaner and faster...

    Wish they open up companies and hire hard working women 💪
    I’m ready to start working.
    My husband a painter so I have learned a lot from him

      Thanks for watching, I would hire a woman if they were qualified. But iv never been asked by a woman for a job. We are equal opportunists tho but just never have been asked. And we only hire people with experience. We don’t have a training program. But i have been noticing a lot more women getting into construction. Keep trying i hope it works out for you. 👍

    I know this is an older video.. so man... you gotta check into the oscillating multi tools as well as a rackatiers ball stud finder(use it to locate your screws.. tap with a hammer.. remove screws, cut your drywall. Pull a whole wall down in one sheet. Take a knife and cut into manageable sections. Keep up the good work! ✌️

      Thanks Zach for the comment We do do it that way sometimes. Unfortunately this whole house was peg and plaster it’s like cutting in to concrete. I’d have to have a diamond blade. And I would have been burning through those blades quite a bit. So I went with the good old pick ax and hammer and some muscle was the way to go. But thanks for the comment Zack. We appreciate the support on the channel🔨🔨👍🏻

    Quick question, just got hired with a company that does additions. they normally subout mostly everything and we come and do the finish work.Sometimes there might be times where we will have to do our own demo work, I have asthma and allergic but am no stranger to manual labor. But just worried when it comes to the demo work cause of insualtion and lots of dust. it in uncommon for people to wear hazmat demo suits and filitration masks when doing demo jobs?

    • @co-know-proconstructiontips
      @co-know-proconstructiontips  7 месяцев назад

      Great question 👍 look almost every house built before 1980 used lead paint in some way or another. That said if it’s built before 1980 then most definitely wear a respirator and hazmat suit. If it’s built after should be ok but dust might still bother you so respirator for sure in your case. Congratulations on the new job happy 2024

    You’ll break my ears with your hammer you can use a longer crowbar for the boards, you also don’t need to arch your back as much.

      In this video it’s basically just lathing plaster and insulation carpet cabinets tile basically all of the finish work down to studs. But was not in this video is us removing about 80% of the interior walls and 20% of the exterior foundation so we can add on our second story per structural plans. 👍😎
