toyota 5L rebuild. part5. piston insertion time...fetch me my rubber hose

i finish off checking the ring gaps and then build up the pistons and pop them in their holes. im using the tools i bought over 30 years ago, i thought id have to remember how to use them but it seemed like yesterday!
rubber hose on the conrod bolts instantly alaign the rod to the crank journal and protect it from damage as the piston is popped into its bore.

Your'e spreading lube in the bores clockwise when everyone knows it should be anti clockwise! 555

I didnt think anyone would notice that. It can only be spread clockwise on lhd cars.
