Were you at sea level & what is your body weight? The best I managed stock was 158kmh at 350meters altitude & body weight is 90kg. Then I got S&S Air filter,S&S Race Only slip on's & booster plug & did a 165kmh at 350meters altitude I might have to try down at sea level where the air is thicker.
I think 🤔 body weight being 20kg lighter & he at sea level on smooth roads help attain those speeds. I have S&S race only slip on's & booster plug,S&S air filter which increased the midrange performance by 13-15% & HP by 1-2hp & tourqe by 7Nm definitely improves pick up but maximum speed is only 165kmh up from 158kmh.My mate put 2-1 headers on & did 190kmh.

180kph indicated isn’t necessarily 180, most speedos are around 5 to 10% wrong and they tend to be more inaccurate at the very top end, this was probably in the area of 170kph/106mph.
Speedo went above 160 , must be Probably down gradient/few degrees slope .. ..... I think It can hardly touch 160 on plane road ...no pillion Cruise at 140 constant... Still good though.. Enough for indian roads

i have taken my gt650 180 kph after spoke balancing and it worked for me
Check ur t cone , tyre pressure , tyre condition, roads , and also don't forget to warm ur tires before doing top speeds .
