I am Finnish and I have also lived in Denmark (and speak Finnish, Danish and Swedish) and I have been totally mind blown during the past 5-6 years about how the woke madness has spread almost everywhere in the western world. The same dogma, the same phrasing and changing vocabulary etc. One big difference between Finland and Denmark is that the Finnish public prodcast company (tax paid) YLE is fully woke, they have their DEI-values and most of the young people working there are leftist and proud of being activists instead of trying to search for objectivity in journalism (means fex. that certain guests are banned beacause of their "wrong oppinions and values" etc.). Where as the Danish version Denmarks Radio is not openly leftist and as woke, so I have actually stopped following the Finnish YLE and rather watch content on Danmarks Radio's web site these days.

I definitely think so. I found Jennifer Bilek’s research on this quite interesting; she was able to trace a lot of “gender medicine” research back to the Pritzker billionaire family. But it’s probably a multitude of things colliding that’s causing this surge in trans identifications, including social media, like you mention, and big pharma wanting lifelong patients, etc.

In some gender critical spaces I've seen some really unfortunate offhanded comments and generalizing takes lamenting the presence of believers in this fight. As a Christian, I came to this issue through my direct experiences working in clinical settings with trans identifying kids and witnessing the process of affirming care. There are many of us thinking carefully about this complex issue and I think it's clear that it's going to take different stakeholders from varying backgrounds, coming together and figuring out how to best proceed. Marcus was an artistic, neurodivergent girl in search for something that would give her a purpose in teenage years. IMO, an archetypal ROGD girl. @@k.b.k.opsahl1493 Another conclusion might be drawn from Marcus' story: that the distinction between those who would benefit from transitioning and those who might be harmed by it doesn’t always correlate with the age at which a person began identifying as the opposite sex. Some individuals may have seen themselves that way from early childhood but later, during puberty, made peace with their biology (Stella is a good example). Others-perhaps like Marcus (I’m not familiar with the specifics of his story)-might have developed gender dysphoria at 12, transitioned at 19, and have since lived a fulfilling life as a trans person. In any case, I would be interested to hear Marcus' take on this.

The UK has a system of laws and lawmaking that rivals or beats that of the US. The US Constitution has done little to nothing to protect free speech in the US. I know Jesper isn't trans, but for some reason, this interview really made me wish you would have as guests older transfolks who transitioned later in life. It would be really interesting to get their takes on whether they would have transitioned earlier if they had been able to, whether they regret anything about their transitions, etc. In my own experience, the transman I know best said he's really glad he didn't transition until his late thirties because he had a hell of childhood and would have transitioned ASAP, and it took him many years of living as an adult woman to understand why and how he really wanted to live his life.

The same dogma, the same phrasing and changing vocabulary etc. One big difference between Finland and Denmark is that the Finnish public prodcast company (tax paid) YLE is fully woke, they have their DEI-values and most of the young people working there are leftist and proud of being activists instead of trying to search for objectivity in journalism (means fex. that certain guests are banned beacause of their "wrong oppinions and values" etc.). Where as the Danish version Denmarks Radio is not openly leftist and as woke, so I have actually stopped following the Finnish YLE and rather watch content on Danmarks Radio's web site these days.

I really appreciate how you title your videos. It makes it easier to share these conversations and explain the transgender phenomenon to people who are ignorant of what's happening.
I really like the idea of exploring how gender ideology has spread into different countries! Especially since it might illuminate common patterns among the countries where this has happened. And as a Danish person myself, im especially looking forward to this episode.

I definitely think so. I found Jennifer Bilek’s research on this quite interesting; she was able to trace a lot of “gender medicine” research back to the Pritzker billionaire family.
But it’s probably a multitude of things colliding that’s causing this surge in trans identifications, including social media, like you mention, and big pharma wanting lifelong patients, etc.

19:44 I found it really refreshing that Jesper openly disclosed his faith background. In some gender critical spaces I've seen some really unfortunate offhanded comments and generalizing takes lamenting the presence of believers in this fight.
As a Christian, I came to this issue through my direct experiences working in clinical settings with trans identifying kids and witnessing the process of affirming care.
There are many of us thinking carefully about this complex issue and I think it's clear that it's going to take different stakeholders from varying backgrounds, coming together and figuring out how to best proceed.

I don't believe in 'a God' in any literal sense, but I do for sure believe in good and evil and this entire movement is for sure evil... manipulative, gets under the skin, tests our pride and our morals and challenges our sanity. Marcus was an artistic, neurodivergent girl in search for something that would give her a purpose in teenage years. IMO, an archetypal ROGD girl. I respect Marcus for not claiming to be a man, and for voicing concern on medical transitioning of minors, but I'm not buying his/her "true trans" narrative.

@@k.b.k.opsahl1493 Another conclusion might be drawn from Marcus' story: that the distinction between those who would benefit from transitioning and those who might be harmed by it doesn’t always correlate with the age at which a person began identifying as the opposite sex. Some individuals may have seen themselves that way from early childhood but later, during puberty, made peace with their biology (Stella is a good example). Others-perhaps like Marcus (I’m not familiar with the specifics of his story)-might have developed gender dysphoria at 12, transitioned at 19, and have since lived a fulfilling life as a trans person. In any case, I would be interested to hear Marcus' take on this.
This nonsense largely came out of the French and American academies which latched onto dubious and trendy ideas within social studies and the soft sciences (Foucault, Judith Butler, John Money). As an American I apologize. The academy in America is in dire straits.

Wait, what? Who's free speech in the UK, regarding this issue, was curtailed because the UK does not have a constitution? When did that happen? The UK has a system of laws and lawmaking that rivals or beats that of the US. The US Constitution has done little to nothing to protect free speech in the US. If we are free to speak, here in the US, it's because we (and our forebears) used that right over and over and paid dearly for it. his views on anti-genocide protests are kind of extreme. Unfortunately, Zionists and trans activists are very similar in that any criticism their preferred ideology is immediately met with accusations of antisemitism/transphobia, denying the right to exist etc.
After reading Abigail Shrier’s book I was overjoyed, it seemed like the religious and political extremes were the families most affected. The groups I most disliked weren’t able to pass their stupid ideology to a third generation because their kids were removing themselves from the gene pool. I thought I can sit back and see my enemies vanquish themselves. I wanted Jesper to change my mind but I couldn’t bring myself that far. I will work on myself so I hope when I’m ready I can join people like him to fight this.

I know Jesper isn't trans, but for some reason, this interview really made me wish you would have as guests older transfolks who transitioned later in life. It would be really interesting to get their takes on whether they would have transitioned earlier if they had been able to, whether they regret anything about their transitions, etc. In my own experience, the transman I know best said he's really glad he didn't transition until his late thirties because he had a hell of childhood and would have transitioned ASAP, and it took him many years of living as an adult woman to understand why and how he really wanted to live his life.
We have had on a number of people who transitioned--Aaron Kimberly, Debbie Hayton, Corrina Cohn, Buck Angel, to name a few.
You have misunderstood the terminology these loons use. A ‘trans’ man is what a woman call herself if she takes testosterone in a delusional attempt to ‘be’ a man. A man who thinks he wants to ‘be’ a woman calls himself a ‘trans’ woman.
Of course neither of these entities exist, they’re just made-up words. But in order to get any kind of understanding of what the hell is going on with this madness you need to understand the language.
Incidentally I can tell you from experience within my own family that an adult man who takes female hormones and/or anger fake breasts & wear stereotype ‘women’s’ clothes is suffering from a sex paraphilia, and are either a fetishist transvestite or an autogynephile. He has not ‘transitioned’ from male to female because sex is immutable.
