The fact that Les did this while singing and also jumping around on stage is absolutely insane
Impossible to play with a pick.
I always found myself wondering what Metallica would have sounded like with Les?
I highly doubt Les Claypool is human.
Seeing how good you have to be to cover Les Claypool makes you realise how amazing the man himself is. How the hell did he think up this stuff?
You sir are a fierce player. I highly respect the fact that you present rhythm notation and it also shows how articulate of a musician you are. You're presenting the public solid work. I wish your channel much success.
Even with achieved stardom and rock and roll hall of fame induction, Geddy Lee is probably the least appreciated genius of this age.
"Bass is just dumbed down guitar"
I love how les plays a fender jazz in the music video but plays stuff on the 24th fret.
As a professional musician... I have to say I've tried to recreate this tune, and you have done better than I did so I bow to you fine sir. Now take this shiny fiddle made of gold.
Objective: play along
Should've dressed up in a plastic cowboy suit for extra authenticity.
I've never heard Primus. This is insane. But I love it.
For anyone who doesn't know, you can adjust the playback speed in the settings for any video. It is super useful with a video like this. It's the only way I could figure out what was going on in certain parts of this song.
This is one of my favorite bass lines of all time, and I've heard almost every Primus bassline.
Always thought this song was about excessive pubic hair
I hugely respect every fellow bassist that manage this song with no problems ! Awesome cover comrade bassist :D
Maybe the most ridiculous bass song ever. Claypool is a monster... And you seem to be able to play anything perfectly! OMG! One of my favorite songs of all time btw.
That little squeak right before the song starts has so much soul.
