Where did you source your new belts?

    Hello Greg,
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. Hope we have soon the results.
    I have two questions :
    - could you precise the characteristics of the bearing use for the worm gear axis (dimensions)
    - why did you mesure so precisely the gap adjustement between the motor part and the worm shaft part ? In my case, I notice that if they were quite exactly the same, when I reassemble all, the case holding removable part is pushing le motor/worm gear assembly against the case holding fixed part that completely blocks the motor/worm assembly and prevents it from gently moving.

They are 608 bearings. I don't think the measuring was all that necessary, just felt like doing it.

do you know where to get the sprockets? My CGX motor has one with the lip and one without.

Sorry, I do not. What I have here are what came stock on mine. Consider reaching out to celestron? If you do some searching, you can likely find them elsewhere for far far cheaper. Will just take a bit of detective work to figure out the right part name, etc.

Yeah, sent them an email yesterday and in the meantime I have been searching "elsewhere". Thanks. Your vids have helped alot as the CGX is just about the same. Making my own vid which will come out soonish.@@gaker1
