About to do the same thing with my CGX! This is a major help! Thanks for posting this.

The GGX & CGX-L seem to have the same "frame"---the "l" version has larger gears & motors as well as a 31mm CW bar. The CGX has a a 20mm. Is the housing all that holds the CW bar on via threads? Was wondering if it can be modified for a 31mm bar?

My RA axis suddenly goes to full speed (faster than speed 9), any ideas why that happens?
    Thank you.

Do you happen to know how to replace the power plug port? Just got my CGX delivered yesterday and it's broken right out of the box. Piece of metal appears to broken off or bent inside of it.
Or do you have video of your power plug replacement?

ugh that's a drag. I broke mine a year or so ago due to a cord wrapping incident. If you're comfortable with a soldering iron, they are pretty easy to replace. I think I ended up using a Switchcraft L721A connector (about $5) and swapped mine out.

@@gaker1 Is that L721A a "direct replacement?" In other words, will the existing cable connect to it as it does the OEM, or does it require a new cable?
