    if u want to show us the real speed of this router u have to use opentest on a pc that conect via cable and then use a device that support wifi7 like galaxy S24 Ultra or oneplus12

      I agree, I think he should use a smartphone with Wifi7 module to have the same protocol with the Wifi7 Access Point. (look like he use an old phone, no punch hole cam & curved/amoled touch screen).
      Or he can use PC / Laptop with Wifi7 Adapter for connecting to Wifi7 Access Point

      You need to run a local speed test that does not depend on the isp or ookla servers.
      And get a wifi7 pc chip(intel Be200) . They are only 15-25usd.
      Runnig ookla speed test with old phone is not show what we need to see

    I would like to first apologize for not being used to using English as I am a foreigner.
    Can you measure the speed if you connect a wifi 6 device to a wifi 7 router? For example, the be3600 router has the same speed as the ax3000 router?

  • @mathieulh

    "I don't believe it's a WiFi 7 router!" Because it's not. The lack of 6Ghz band makes it even worse than a glorified WiFi 6e router. It also only has 2.5gbe input while proper WiFi 7 can reach 3gbe, or even 5gbe with MLO. I wouldn't be surprised that for that price this "WiFi 7" access point doesn't even do 4096QAM. This router won't be any better than a regular WiFi 6 AX router despite using BE specs. At this price point that's not really surprising.

    BTW this router is capable to handle 500 Mbps Virtual Desktop with Quest 3, which very few routers for 4x price can actually do... and it does this with stable 5-7 ms latency. This is an amazing router!

    What are the benefits of Wi-Fi 7?

    • @TechBrothersReviews
      @TechBrothersReviews  6 месяцев назад

      Wi-Fi 7 brings extreme data speeds, lower latencies, and increased network capacity thanks to new capabilities designed to support large numbers of users and devices in bandwidth-intensive environments.
      Wi-Fi 7 enables significantly faster speeds by packing more data into each transmission. 320 MHz channels are twice the size of previous Wi-Fi generations-which is somewhat like using a semi-truck to move boxes, compared to a moving van. (Google information)

    try changing phone... that's weird my old redmi AX5 (AX1800) can do more use more powerful host/server for open test speed app. this thing hits my ryzen 7 5700x at 100% CPU usage when doing speed test.
    if your only using 1 port its limited to 1gigabit if you mesh 2 1gigabit into the pc it will go 2gigabit max.
    on my redmi AX5 (AX1800) using poco f3 i can hit average of 970Mbps download and upload.
    also use wifi 7 device smartphone or intel laptop with intel wifi 7 card, amd cpu alptops haven't got intel wifi 7 support yet. need to update bios for latest amd agesa.
