Great game guys. Just for the record when you go up on the research track and you land on or pass the research plan (token) that requires a scientists you need 2 scientist the first research scientist is for activating the track and doesn't count for the token. (Page 32 of the rule book). Also when you restock the research tokens they don't slide over you just refill them, sorry for the corrections but I feel that people who are watching this and yourselves too should know these things.
13:25 you can buy a card and/or spend in the lateral slide bar. But you cant spend on the lateral bar and/or buy a card. So if you want to buy a card it must be the first thing. If you want to spend on the side bar you cant buy a card next.
Also have you guys considered talking a little tad bit more at the end about the experience (or even short video that is separate) . Have a lot of respect for your takes on games and experience. Think it could be cool
We usually reserve our opinions for our Rapid Reviews videos. Especially when our content is sponsored we try to refrain from giving direct opinions on a game out of a sense of fairness and transparency with the audience. On Rapid Reviews we recap everything we played in a month and as those aren't sponsored we give opinions on all games. We could absolutely give a thought to taking more time to talk about the pros and cons of a game on non sponsored Game Haus videos however
this gives ares expedition vibes. That was my thought watching this... would I need this when ares scratches this space engine itch? What do you guys think?
Interesting! I suppose it is card driven and such. Feels more base terraforming mars to me just because of the focus on the control over the board but we can see where you're coming from!
This looks cool and all but i cant shake the feeling that this is fiddly as hell and would be a nightmare to get to the table and teach to anyone but the most die hard board gamers.
Mombasa's theme is pretty objectionable, but I also find cryptobros to be a pretty objectionable theme. I guess it isn't *as* bad, but man, they really didn't raise the bar much.
I feel like this game has definite replayability especially since you guys are only playing the base game. That being said the amount of planning and brain required to play the game well on top of kinda boring art of the pale moon on a white background is a definite turn off for wanting to play it more than once.

So glad we can all just relax and overact our sneezes again like the good old times. Time is truly a donut. 🙂

Coo copy that!
27:13 - No need to slide the plans when refilling research plans, just fill the empty spaces. (rulebook - page 14)
Okee doke
That was one hell of a sneeze! I half expect to see you in a neck brace in your next video!! Anyway, game looks super cool👍
My man still hasn't recovered but it didn't seem to affect his play too much

I still prefer Mombasa theme wise, but this was a fun play.

I've one question: i think you're not supposed to take the first player bonus action if you're already the first player, aren't you?
You can take it just not as the first action of the round :)
Ye you dont need, you Will still be the first player if no One takes the first player action
Sneeze cold opens on every video from now on or we riot
*takes the pepper grinder into the studio*

Copy that. We dig the look ourselves but can dig that it might not be everyone’s bag
