- We got a new Radiohead track on Thursday, March 17th!
But it's NOT ACTUALLY a new Radiohead track - it's a new track from THE SMILE - or IS IT??? Are we really just "skrting on the surface" with this whole Smile thing, Thom???

And now I gotta tell you...I REALLY like The Opposite....so damn funky...Jonny's guitar work, that drum work....Thom's vocals....LOVE this song!

Yes the opposite is probably my personal favorite of the album. I just love the psychedelic aspect of it. But I guess that just my style. But I'm glad the whole album is just totally different. Every song is so different in a way that just keeps you wondering how the next song is going to blow your mind. Really...no need to skip a song. But I agree...the opposite is a trip.
I noticed that the drumming has a lot of jazz rhythm to it which I really love. I never used to be fond to jazz style drumming but lately its been growing on me.
Yes, Tom Skinner's style is very jazzy. I don't know their music at all, but apparently Sons of Kemet are a jazz group, so that makes sense. These 3 make an incredible trio.

Love the song a lot...probably my favorite The Smile song so far...and I love The Smoke and Free in the Knowledge...but not as much.

So what do you think guys? You gotta pick the 3 best?! I'm going with any shuffle of Skrting on the Surface, Speech Bubbles and Waving a White Flag....file those 3 under As Good As Anything Radiohead Have Ever Done!
