LOL Right - I saw this guide and already a few minutes in, I see it's about farming and HOPING for a drop. That's not "easy", that's farming... not everyone has time for that. Especially when there's so many other mounts from previous raids/dungeons that are also farmable, with a low drop rate.
there are 2 more mounts in the Mogu Vale invasion, Ivory-cloud-serpent from using the Zan-Tien Lasso on a serpents that flies around and Rajani-warserpent from Rei Lun
Pro Tip: There's an upgrade you get get on your warship in Kultiras / Zandalar that will increase your doubloon gains, which is surely worth it if you're going for the island expedition mounts.
Forgot the 2 Cloud serpents from the Mogu Invasion: Ivory Cloud Serpent is a few hour long spawn in the middle of the map that requires a random drop called a Zan-Tien lasso (it comes from almost any mogu in the invasion zone, during the invasion at a pretty decent drop rate). The mount itself is really fast I recommend you camp it on the spawn point about 27;56 pretty high up. Rajani War Serpent is a vendor mount which requires you to loot a scale from Rei Lun, a rare which is in the mogu tunnels on the north point of the invasion. Simply run straight once you enter inside and keep going straight until you hit a staircase, then go down you should see it on a podium. Scale is on about a 2% drop.
For the King Mechagon mount, you can skip the "hard" mechanic entirely by having someone press the red button while everyone is outside, that person charges out to reset the boss and you all jump in and burst the boss down once he reappers. This only works with 60s as you need good DPS to have him "break" and skip the mechanics.
Love the video! Just one thing, Soundless in Naj is still an 8 hour respawn so it is actually much harder to kill as there are rarely any groups up and he is mostly killed by random individual players.
True! Such a nightmare that mount with such a low drop chance...in case you don’t know, you can join the Lord of the Reins discord in which people post everytime someone finds Soundless and opens a group (you can get a notification for it) ...so much easier if you are farming this mount.
I know BFA gets alot of hate but it's probably my favorite expansion because of the continents alone. Kul Tiras and Zandalar are so absurdly gorgeous and great to quest in, on top of being grounded in reality, so they're by far my favorite zones in the game. I REALLY don't like Shadowlands' zones Shadowlands would have been so much better if it had just been a single continent, with Oribos as a huge tower in the middle and the four zones as different sections of the continent, with mountains or rivers or canyons separating them, and that whole continent floating in a vast sea of anima.
@@Fisva actually it was. take away tier sets, make everything about the stupid neck piece and making m+ gear better than raiding gear. there was 0 reason to raid unless you wanted a ny'alotha weapons. even the raid gear was ass unless you got a good trinket. everything else you can get and add corruption to. other than that it was shit.
I recommend farming the island expedition mounts as you level an alt. At level 10ish when you can start doing expeditions, you get about 1 level per expedition. During the 20's you get about 33% of a level per island expedition, and it reduces as you increase in level. On an alt, I've gotten two mount drops leveling from 10 to about 40. These are way easier than dungeons for leveling.
@@lok14 This is old.. but Me and my bro even as of the end of 9.2 do this when we run new alts and yes it still works quite well.. TBH this is better for DPS alts cause the que times can be shorter then just waiting on dg runs..
Yeah I did it with drums, so it's possible but I'm not doing that again until you can just run through with alts, wanted to test if it's possible at all :D
For the invasion mounts there is also the dragon in the basement in vale during the minor invasion that can drop the white scale to purchase from the reputation vendor at the Vale quest hub. (unsure how easy that is to do solo now but I wager it should be viable at 60)
you can cheese th elast boss of the hardmode mechagon. reset the boss then go to his spot aggro him immedietly when he spawns that way the button you need to press doesnt go away and then just press it before you kill him, liek around 20% health. that way you dont need click those things at the back of the room
hey, you forgot 2 from Eternal blossoms the dragon in the cave that drops a scale that you hand in for the mount, and the cloud serpent that you catch with the leash.
Well yeah but all it is is farming them, they're easy kills just takes time and luck, no complicated or frustrating rep grind or quests or something attached at least

You missed two mounts in the Mogu Assault: You can kill Rei Lun for a chance of the Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale which you can buy the Rajani Warsperpent with from the Rajani Quartermaster. Looks pretty cool, thundering serpent. Also, you can farm the mogu mobs (mostly Zan-Tien and some Baruk and others) for the Zan-Tien Lasso which you can use to catch the Ivory Cloud Serpent. It's a rare spawn friendly NPC flying about the place, look it up for details.
Very good video, ill start farming those right now, and let me ask you something... can you make a video explaining how to unlock nazjatar, mecagon, n'zoth invasions, etc. Some people, me included didn't pley BFA, i did opened Nazjatar but didn't opened mecagon yet

Ji kun is better looking imo Edit: You forgot the Cloud Serpent mounts from the Rajani. One is the Ivory Cloud serpent and the other is from the rare that drops the Electrified scale. Both of them are from the Mogu invasions
within 9.2 and (as a non-raider non-m+er) most of my 30 lvl60 characters are on ilvl 243+. Did King's Rest / Underrot and Freehold very easy. U can ignore a lot of bosses just walk / ride past them. As rouge / druid u can stealth past most trash too. Very easy.
I wasn't able to find ANY of the mounts you've talked about in Arathi. Even the rares that were supposed to be there "at all time"... Idk if I did something wrong, if this is outdated, or if you forgot to tell us something.
these BFA dungeon mount drops, they have a low drop rate right? you need to farm these dungeons for weeks to get a chance of dropping it. (aka, not worth the time if you ask me :S)
Nice Vid! One little thing... would be nice to highlight the specific rares with a different color star or red circle around it. Would make it easier to spot especially in the warfronts with all the different rares

the frighten kodo is best to get on server reset as it spawns straight away after servers back up, so get a char sat in the area ready also Rajani Warserpent mount, Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale, the item for this mount drops from Rei Lun in the "Halls of the Serpent" in Guo-Lai Halls in the Vale, Only spawns during Mogu invasions in the Vale
It is possible, you have like 30 secs so be very high geared and bring drums, need like 10k dps for his 280k hp. I needed 3 trys to get him down, so yeah I'm not farming that until it's just running through. But it is possible.
Soundless has a 4-8 hour respawn timer, i wouldn't categorize that as "often" lmao but otherwise great video for people who haven't done most of these!

Are there any quest reqs for the battlefront stuff? I took a new character out there and nothing dropped for that character but my old characters still get drops.
Feels good to have every warfront drop mount, got the 2 nightsabers on the same run, and one rotation later, I got blackpaw and ashenvale chimaera within 2 minutes of each other, Arathi took more time on me, but hey, was good luck
well unless you've gone on three alts and did the covenant storylines, technically no, but still peeps want stuff to do and options are always nice. in any case 9.1 will be coming soon enough and then the Tmog/Mount/Pet hunt will be postponed until that content is done.
Easily Obtainable is a vague term, since they are all chance based and therefore not really easy to obtain. All of the ones mentioned I have yet to get, after many many kills

@@danwic90 Your individual run chance stays the same, but the probabilty that it drops increases. The same way as if you're rolling dice and keep rolling non-sixes. Since the chance of rolling a six is 1/6, you should statistically roll a six every 6th throw. If a mount has a dropchance of 1%, you should have it by the 100th try. unless you're unlucky.
@@everettd2 you would be suprised. There are about 4 to 6 people (on my server) who are trying to get it constantly so it would be a fight over who can click the fastest.
You can bug the the king mechagon hardmode fight. You pull king mechagon to the entrance of the boss room. He resets now all you have to do now is nuke him down bypassing the whole button pushing deal of the fight
I dont get the "Invasion" in ulum and Pandaria , did i need something specific to see all these rars ? Iam in the right "Time" but cant see the rars etc

True, but this particular drop doesn't operate on regular probability, but has a pretty complex formula, which, in the end boils down to 20% chance if you solo.
Frightened Kodo is easy to get with a trial character. Just make a trial on a low pop realm and make your way there. Of no one has got it, the area will reset every 15 minutes. Easy.
Can confirm that mechagon, freehold and underrot are all soloable by both warrior and druid at 205+ item level, mythic difficulty. Nelf racial helps for trash skips.

This vid is a bit old but as of 9.2 you can talk to the person next to your expeditions table and take private tours to solo the island exped's GL.
There are private tours now for expeditions. Also if your in to transmogs there are some pieces in the salvage crates and bags

King's Rest is impossible to solo currently due to the Tomb mechanic on the 2nd boss. Once you get tombed he resets :(

I think you forgot to mention the Dune Scavenger. It will take forever to farm it, but it's really easy to kill the mobs that can drop it.
just a side note here: Clutch of Ha-li is NOT the same model as the pandaria challange mode phoenix
how long do you have to wait to be able to kill the dark shore bosses again? I killed the agatha lady and she never dropped blackpaw.

@@danwic90 Your individual run chance stays the same, but the probabilty that it drops increases.
The same way as if you're rolling dice and keep rolling non-sixes. Since the chance of rolling a six is 1/6, you should statistically roll a six every 6th throw.
If a mount has a dropchance of 1%, you should have it by the 100th try.

You can bug the the king mechagon hardmode fight. You pull king mechagon to the entrance of the boss room. He resets now all you have to do now is nuke him down bypassing the whole button pushing deal of the fight

True, but this particular drop doesn't operate on regular probability, but has a pretty complex formula, which, in the end boils down to 20% chance if you solo.

Arathi an darkshore drops are more easy easy than most
You cannot solo King's Rest Mythic unless you can kill the boss before the first entombing. The boss resets.

Frightened Kodo is easy to get with a trial character. Just make a trial on a low pop realm and make your way there. Of no one has got it, the area will reset every 15 minutes. Easy.
Can confirm that mechagon, freehold and underrot are all soloable by both warrior and druid at 205+ item level, mythic difficulty. Nelf racial helps for trash skips.
