Great Video, but 3 things I wanted to add: 1) You only need to buy medal mounts on one faction and you automatically get them free for the opposite one. For example, if you buy the Priestess Moonsaber on an Alliance character, you will automatically have the equivalent Bat when playing your Horde character and vice versa. Same for the krolusk and the nightsaber. 2) Unless it was changed with the expac, when doing Island Expeditions, the higher the difficulty, the better the rewards. Higher chance for mounts and rare pets, more dubloons, etc. Heroic is better than Normal and Mythic is even better. 3) You can fish up the Great Sea Ray mount in Mechagon open water too. I did.
Also out of curiosity for the "clever use of game mechanics" regarding the Conqueror's scythemaw, does it also work the same way for the Shadowlands Deathbringer title + flayedwing mount?
Does Syiler have a guide on mounts obtained solely through achievements,not so much Glory of the Hero or Raider achievements. But other achievements like the Snapback Scuttler mount from the Undersea Ursurper achievement? Or are there any anywhere as I can't seem to find any. TIA for any help with this.
@@andrewpaul8732 That is incorrect. All the mounts from the same faction races count towards the total regardless of how they were obtained. If you are Alliance then Worgen racial mounts will be usable with any Alliance character regardless who bought them.
Hey man! Do you have a video on the Arcanist Manasaber by any chance? I keep finding a bunch of things about being Nightborne, but I'm Ally. I know it has to do with finishing the Insurrection QL but I can't find how to start that questline.
@@knighthawk3749 No, you're thinking of the racial mount. The arcanist manasaber is usable by all races and factions, also it flies, unlike the racial mount.

There are several Discords that specialize in organizing groups for Mount farming or achievement mounts.
Finally scored Blue proto drake AND Midnight this week. Started farming mounts thanks to your vids, keep it up Sylier.

Yes, I have gotten it that way. Otherwise you need to do the PVP world quests a lot and you'll get there eventually

If you're going for the 100 mounts achoevment tho you need to have 100 mounts available to one character so racial mounts don't add up to anything.
It might look identical, but for the collection purposes it is a different mount.

It's a Horde allied race. You can't get it with an Alliance character.

Doesn't make sense to include in this when nazjatar unlock is similar to mechagon
