rafsolo and they suddenly make her all buddy buddy with Iris even though present Iris openly admits she agrees with what her future self did (dampening Nora’s powers and keeping her in the dark about them for what we can easily assume would be forever) which is the exact reason Nora hates her in the future. That is never brought up again and we haven’t been told Iris’s views on that haven’t changed yet everyone completely forgets about it when Iris does her little swan dive off the roof.
SNOWBARRY FAMILY PSA: Okay many of you may have seen the synopsis for 5x06 "The Icicle Cometh" (airing Nov. 20th) it specifically states *Caitlin* *Barry* and *Cisco* will be finding out something about her father (more like finding him) and I urge you all if you can to PLEASE go watch this episode *live* especially if the promos back this synopsis up. The ratings for the show have been in a free fall since episode 1, this is when the network will be paying attention to what the audience wants! And yes in the past we have been tricked, and we may be getting one pulled over on us again but by showing up and *boosting* the ratings we will really let the network know this is what we want (and with more ratings they get more money meaning they'll want to do it). Best part of the episode was the breakfast scene. Iris: Nora, what are you doing? Nora: getting proof that you make lumpy pancakes in every time period. OHHH IRIS IS DEAD! Gto roasted harder than those pancakes! Savitar couldn't kill Iris in a whole season, Nora did it in 20 seconds!

Well as far as I know Candice wasn't involved *at all* in filming the crossover (which I find curious to say the least...) but Danielle was involved a lot so it's definitely possible! That or she's Killer Frost or really she could be anything that crossover sounds nuts! Lol

@@writ_ten Yeah during this whole crossover filming from all accounts (mostly social media) Candice has been enjoying a long vacation home in California while Grant, Danielle, Carlos, and Tom have been in Vancouver most if not the whole time. Hartley Swayer (Ralph) did show up for filming later on and I have no idea if Jessica (who plays Nora) is involved either. What I do know is that Stephen Amell worked with Danielle, Ruby Rose (batwoman), and Grant in one day and assumedly all together and with the amount Danielle has been on set according to her social media she's apperently very involved! Which in general is just very exciting!

While for the most part, I really liked the cross-over last season because I got to see so many of my favourite shows hang-out for some social gathering or other (quite in the back, WA, I don't care) I like how it kind of renewed a few of the friendships we've seen in previous seasons. Professor Stein...I loved his character since his first appearance to his last which had me, no joke, bawling my eyes out. Victor Garber (Stein) and Franz Drameh (Jefferson) were incredible in the cross-over, as were a lot of other characters. I have to admit, I'm not surprised that Iris won't be making any significant appearance this crossover since the last crossover more or less showed how very little she actually contributes to the show as a whole. She didn't help in the initial attack stage where the enemies are introduced, or the fact-gathering stage, or the planning stage or the initial execution stage, or the shit hits the fan stage or the recovery stage. All other characters had skills that applied to 2 or more of those stages, but Iris just was ushered to safety, spun on her chair and gave pep-talks when other people were trying to get stuff done and generally did what literally anyone else could have done, say Wally who was sidelined permanently after the wedding. It will be interesting if keeping the Legends out of the crossover this time will mean not only more scenes for the *main* trio (Oliver, Barry & Kara) with Batwoman being this year's trial run for a new series (like Barry's cameo in Arrow) but a good amount of scenes for the rest of the cast too, especially since we'll be seeing Lois Lane for the first time as well. And since Caitlin's dad is pretty much (I mean Icicle Cometh?) unofficially confirmed as Icicle, she could be tied to why the team go to whichever version of Gotham it turns out to be since I think he was primarily a Gotham villain, and maybe could lead to Earth-1's version of Charlie Snow who Earth-2 mentioned in season 2, and could feasibly be Icicle Jr who 'has no need for a 'cold gun', as his father's prolonged exposure to the weapon altered his genetics, allowing him to biologically pass down to his son the ability to freeze objects and people or to lower the temperature of a room or other area.' or be like how KF was originally, with his powers taking over his personality and near the end of this season maybe Caitlin will have to choose between the family she was born into, and the family she made for herself who sometimes (a lot of the time) take her for granted. And Amell's wife will be in the crossover too, playing Dr.Freeze's wife which must be so exciting for both of them (though apparently, Dr.Freeze himself will not appear).
I ALMOST completely agree with what you said at 4:42 but I feel like Barry would definitely help her with her dad but he doesn't know. If you remember they showed when Sherloque first came in and analyzed everybody that Barry doesn't know about her dad. When Sherloque said something about Caitlin needing his services later for a problem of her own Barry looked at her in confusion and silently asked her what Sherloque was talking about and she shook her head. Barry doesn't even know about her dad so he can't help

You never really know with these guys but so far as much as I may disgree with things going on there is at least a consistency in these first 4 episodes that was severely lacking in all of season 4
If i was Caitlin, Cisco and every versions of Wells, i would quit this show, just to see how Barry, Iris, Nora, Joe, Cecile and Ralph can handle a whole season without the 3 real genius ! Maybe the ratings will shutdown even more, then the writers could make a few adjustments or just cancelled the show !

I like how Barry supported Iris's breakfast and ate it even though he knew it was terrible while Iris didn't even try to stick up for him when they said Barry is bad at sports. I also like how Barry never argues with Iris or questions her decisions, even when he knows she's wrong. He just nods and goes along with it (episode 4x02 and the wedding scene in 4x03 are good examples). They have terrible chemistry.

I absolutely agree with the parallels you've drawn between Nora and Caitlin, and I know it won't happen, but developing some sort of dynamic between them actually makes perfect sense, and on top of that, Danielle and Jessica work really well together.
As far as I know, it's their 2nd project together. They did a rom-com called Nearly-weds where they are 2 of 3 best-friend main characters where Danielle is a doctor as well. She's pretty much cast as a lady with brains for most (not all) of her projects.
Nora hates Cat. She never talks with her. She look at her with mean eyes in season 4. Iris couldn't put the chip into Nora herself, she needed a doctor to do it. And the only doctor she could trust with such operation was Cat.

How come Nora can interact with her parents like that, without influencing the future big time? She is confirmed as having DNA material from both Barry and Iris, Caitlin did a check in 5x01. So what gives? Where are the dementors that usually try to hunt down speedsters who mess with time? One easy answer: Nora is not from the same earth/universe as "our" Barry and Iris. (in the comics, XS is not from this earth either).
@@yourenotfunny124 But she did admit that she was wrong. When Nora told her what she did Iris admitted that she was wrong. But then she thought about what Barry said to her and then she thought another what she did when she saved Barry's life. And she realised that she wasn't in the wrong and she knows that everything she does and is going to do will be to protect her family. Just like how she protected her family in this episode. And it's not just the fact that she's his woman that he sided with her, it's that he has known her his entire life and he knows her heart and who she is and he knows based on past experiences with her that she wouldn't do anything to harm her family.
There are few thoughts I had about this episode that only really came to mind a while after watching TeamForwood's video of this episode and watching yours too: 1) It's kind of annoying that Cisco's not in this weeks show, but they still used his powers (the breach discs) to help Iris save the day. I mean I understood them when they were being used as a breach between two separate universes with pre-set destinations on each side: if you use it to travel to Kara's Earth you end up at her apartment, and when you use it to go the other way you end up at Star labs, which made a kind of sense since the destination was the fixed point beforehand for each disc so their friends from other universes could visit or ask for help for crossovers. But now they have Iris use it to travel to England or at a random baseball field at the drop of a hat, kind of undercutting Cisco and his powers in the process. I mean, that's the only way she could have gotten there so quickly and does it now just work by thinking about where you want to end up and it spits you out the other side like floo powder from Harry Potter? 2)I feel so bad for Nora by the end of this episode. A part of me can see why Iris would want to protect Nora from being hurt after she lost Barry, but for it to be so drastic and permanent as a power-dampening chip under her skin, especially since she was only about 4 at the time, I'm not sure I wouldn't have reacted the same if I was in Nora's place. Why not have something like Caitlin had when she was scared of turning into Killer Frost, or Karolina Dean fro the Runaways? That way Norajr could have worn the dampeners during school etc when her emotions would be more likely to expose her powers and then she could take it off at home or when she was learning to control them? Add to that, didn't Iris lash out at Joe in 3 different timelines when he hid that her mum was still alive from her? And when he hid that Barry was the Flash (which to be fair wasn't his secret to tell) in order to 'protect her'? And didn't Wally get upset with Iris when she tried to control whether or not he used *his* powers because *she* thought they were too dangerous, even though she was perfectly fine with Barry using his? 3)I felt so bad for Nora when Barry (her dad who she's been idolising most of her life who she probably thought would be on her side in her anger at Iris making such a monumental decision and taking away a choice that should have been made by Nora, at least as an adult) didn't listen to more than the basic fact that Iris had taken Nora's powers when she was little with power-dampeners before siding with Iris stating: "I'm sure she had her reasons." Honestly, in Nora's place, I'd be both disillusioned and devastated if my dad didn't even question why my mother took away something that is so important in his own life, and to not even question it or try to understand her point of view, just dismissing her anger and betrayal and saying Iris was in the right when he knew *nothing* about the situation just seems like Barry doesn't really question any of Iris' choices and decisions, he just goes along with them with no opinion of his own. Though I am really glad that Norajr showed some self-worth to get herself away from a situation where her opinions and feeling were being dismissed, and that Joe and Cecille welcomed her with open arms was great too. 4)I really hope they have some bonding moments between Caitlin and Nora about parents locking away powers when they were young without being told because I think Caitlin would stay neutral-ish and not necessarily take sides but maybe try to get Nora to see things from her mothers' point of view (Caitlin is ever the peacemaker) while also letting Norajr vent and maybe sharing her own thoughts etc about when Cisco's vibe revealed she had powers when she was a kid and just didn't remember it. It would be a female friendship based on shared experiences, would give both women someone to confide in with similar experiences that could relate to them. Maybe even bring in Felicity from Star City and her dad's absence from her childhood because Donna was protecting her (no judgement, Donna Smoak is an awesome mum), maybe over margarita's during the crossover, or even a normal episode (Arrow did it with Felicity, Thea, Lyla and baby Sara) with Iris not being able to make it because she's 'working' or angry with Nora for being angry at her and Caitlin, Norajr and Cecile (who probably would appreciate being invited and could use the adult time) could have a girls night, just not a cliche like the forced bachelorette party. It was one of the cringiest episodes of any tv show I've ever seen, though drunk Barry was funny. It would be a prime opportunity that the writers will probably pass up mainly because the only female friendships they seem to try and show is Iris trying to be friends with people and failing with everyone but Felicity who was very much nerfed to try and prop up Iris as her equal as co-leader and asset to the team. Say what you will about Felicity, but sooo many people would be dead without her being on Team Arrow. 5)I know Norajr's new and for the most part, I like her (a lot of it is because she doesn't kiss Iris' ass...yet. You know the writers will have it end up that way, but until then she's honest) but why is she the one being front and centre in every fight scene now? I know we're seeing Barry being her mentor and everything but is this still the Flash, or is it just the West-Allen show at this point and they just haven't bothered to change the name? Who am I kidding, of course it is. They had Iris take over every part of Barry's life except his job at CCPD (which he lost halfway through last season anyway) and now he has his job back he has another WA there too. There is no part of his life that is just his anymore. Barry and Iris have the same family, they live together (obviously, and perfectly fine), Iris has taken over as leader of team Flash for some reason, he no-longer spends any time with his friends, and the few times he's seen them outside of work has been as part of a group that included all the other West's which would be fine if there was scenes with just him and his friends and now he doesn't even have his job as escape anymore, now that Nora is 'interning' there too. And now he can't even seem to have an opinion that isn't pretty much either: 'Iris is right' or 'Iris must have her reasons'. Most of the time now, Barry just seems like he's going through the motions. He's lost his spark. The part of him that was nerdy, intelligent, curious and thought for himself. Ahhh, season 1&2 Barry, how we miss you. 6)Who else finds it *hilariously* hypocritical of Iris to bad-mouth Spencer for writing about XS to further her app and her journalism career when Iris did the exact same thing in season 1, except where Spencer is creating the news herself using her phone, Iris was handed information literally no-one else could get and passed it off as her own research which ended up skyrocketing her blogs popularity and netting her journalist job probably because they thought she could find out nearly impossible to find information that no-one else could get. Add it to the 'times Iris was a hypocrite' list. Ooooh it's getting long now 😁
This is such a good read. i agree with you 100%. i am just so done with the bad writing, like it really makes me feel sad that these writers who wrote Caitlin and Cisco to be these wonderful characters write that damned show. every episode i see toxicity and hypocracy is all they write when it comes to iris. love the friendship between cecile and caitlin, would love to see nora join in on that. the show and the character interactions just feel more natural without iris there tbh unless they throwing shade, lol.
@@hal216 The difference is that Cisco and Caitlin were written as 3-dimensional characters that stand up on their own merit, while Iris was written as Barry's future love interest. It's the same with Laurel in the Arrow and, from what I heard, James from Supergirl; it wasn't until they got booted from the love interest spot for more fleshed out characters that they really came into their own. The only reason that a lot of characters missed that trap on Legends was that they were mostly fully-formed characters introduced on other shows and brought over to Legends where they just got more chances to shine. Though as I said on a previous TeamForwood video Kendra Saunders (Hawk Girl) could have used a bit more independence to her storyline instead of it just being about her being destined to be with her hubby and always re-incarnating to find each other, that's more an episode or two story than an entire character arc...actually I think I saw an episode just like it on Blood Ties...nevermind. I really like Cecile as a character, not just because she's such a good fit with Joe who has focused on his kids and career for so long that he deserves some happiness of his own, but also because she has integrity and works hard at her own career and even though she finds team Flash stuff fascinating she knows when to put in her 2 cents in and when to let the scientists do their thing. She and Joe are kind of the parental figures to the 'kids', doling out advice and being a sounding board when needed, even using their day jobs to help out the team when they can. And they fit those roles wonderfully. So if we're going to see more Cecile, I hope the writers stay true to her character and not just use her as another person to tell Iris she's doing everything right and that they'd all be lost without her. As much as I love Joe and Cecile (and I do) I don't want Cecile to be so insecure about her relationship with Joe that she can't voice her *own* opinion when it comes to Barry, Iris and Wally, even if it's not as rose-tinted as Joe's is of certain children, maybe even suggesting either not taking sides (Norajr needs *some* allies, and Joe tends to side with Iris on most things) or have them agree to disagree but respect each other's opinions. Like an actual couple, not whatever WA is now. Side note: Where is Wally exactly? I haven't really seen any scenes of him since the season opener so did I miss someone explaining or...?
@@ALittleTooWordy i agree about Caitlin and Cisco. i do wish they would give an independent storyline to cisco but i am content with his story with gypsy and being an actual friend to Cait is a wonderful aspect too. Caitlin is the only character in the show who has an independent story and it works so well because they developed it from the beginning and her character is written beautifully with how much she supports everyone around her, how she encourages them and always looks at the good side of things.she grew up without a father or an active parent to lean on and yet she grew into this amazing person and i love her for it. also how she never burdens others with her pain and goes through it all alone and still helps out the team in more ways than any other member. a true female lead to look upto and learn from that choosing to be kind to others is powerful. At first i was afraid Cecile was just another character who would put iris on a pedestal and i have been happy with her so far. she doesnt necessarily always praise westallen and like you said, is an independent hard working mother and that is a really good storyline outside of being Joe's wife. also i really do like joe and Cecile's relationship, she confides in him and he helps her when she is in doubt and most importantly, the only reason i liked that whole reading minds storyline was because she actually got to know joe's actual opinion. i think it also goes to show how the writers write the male/husband characters to just agree with their respective wives' opinion and keep their own to themself. and i liked it because she dealed with those thoughts of his the right way, she talked to him about it and he *talked* back and told her his side which is a good relationship. and both of their acting is just adorable. their expressions and actions are cute. i do want Cecile to take a mother role to iris -just to tell her when she is being bossy and controlling or just being a hypocrite, it would be a pleasure to see iris be put in her place without it being turned into another amazing thing iris did in minutes disregarding her characters faults. I cant talk for legends because i stopped watching because of the hawkgirl storyline, i found it too much at the time and decided to stop. though i think, i am not sure when, but i read somewhere that keiynan lonsdale has taken a break or something for a while.
@@hal216 It is really surprising how few characters in the Arrowverse grew up in the 'normal' nuclear families, I mean off the top of my head I can only think of the Queens, where both parents cheated which is how Thea was created (another character that grew so much through her series and I *LOVE* how she took Oliver telling her he was the Arrow, it was amazing) and that is honestly the only hero/team member family where we see the parents still both alive and together with adult kids...unless you count Flashpoint or Earth-2 Barry but they were more there to tempt him the 'perfect' life he was missing but really being there to appreciate that what he's always wanted may not be what he actually needs. Not disrespecting his parents or the impact on who he becomes, just pointing out a theory. I'm really pleased and honestly surprised how much screentime they've given Caitlin's story already this season, because a huge let down for season 3&4 (among many other let downs) was that they teased more Caitlin and Killer Frost than they delivered, then again they did the same with OTF moments too which was kind of a double slap in the face for a lot of us. I think her story works so well because, as you mentioned, it has been built up for a *very* long time and it can incorporate the other team members and use their civilian skills, like Ralph and his P.I skills (which might be an unpopular move since a lot of people want OTF but with how WA focused Barry has been since season 3 it would be jarring if it was all swept under the rug and they acted like nothing happened) whereas the main storyline (Norajr) has been very WA/West insulated so far. We might get a few scenes where one of the others pop in and out, but for the most part it's Barry, Iris and Norajr, and with the writing been for the last few seasons I doubt they'll steer too far from that, except to maybe bring in Joe and Cecile for a few West family scenes, though I won't be upset if I'm wrong. Caitlin has always kind of been a character who will drop everything to help someone else out but hesitates to *ask* for help which, given her past, I'd say is pretty in character. She's had only had herself to rely on for so long and there is usually so much going on with everyone in the group, that she might feel like she's bothering them if she asks for help. Not that they'd see it that way, but given how little she's actually been helped (Cisco usually being the exception) when she's needed it I can see where she's coming from. Even when she's been promised help in the past, she's still usually the last priority if she's a priority at all, and just ends up working on her own problems in the spare time between helping everybody else. The episode before the season 4 finale is a prime example: She gets called out of her therapy session early (which happens to pretty much on the team, so it's usual) and she, Cisco and Barry figure out Devoe's next move because of the scrambled blog post (which was so clearly a trap it wasn't funny, I mean they knew it in seconds) then she and Cisco convince Barry to train them to help save the hostages so he can stop Devoe, they train, take a break where Caitlin reassures Cecile and Joe where Cecile gives her advice (really love those two) and then goes back to training, gets knocked down but gets back up again (they're never gonna keep her down!) and then she and Cisco save 6 people's lives while Barry goes after Devoe. And that's one episode, the only OTF episode of the season, true. But even in the cringiest episode of the season (Girls Night Out) Caitlin harnessing her fears and voluntarily turning into Killer Frost is the only reason Iris and Felicity are still alive after their 'attempt' to stop Amunet (seriously, did they even *have* a plan?) Cecile is a really well-balanced character, but then again a lot of the other characters were too before they were nerfed to make Iris their leader. Maybe Barry's that way with Iris, because that's how Joe taught him a husband should be like? I mean he raised him since he was 11 and Joe knew about Barry's crush on Iris since he developed it so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that Joe kind of steered his behaviour to be someone that catered to Iris in everything since that's how it turned out and Iris pretty much insisted upon since he got out of the speedforce. The episode after his return he was making his own decisions, but since then whenever he's tried to make a decision or think for himself Iris has been there to slap him down with "we're the Flash" and he always says she's right even when he doesn't agree with her (Devoe's on her blog). I don't actually think Cecile and Joe are married, they're still just dating. I haven't watched Legends since the season 1 finale, not because I didn't like it (Leo, NO!) but because I just never got around to watching season 2 because life takes up a lot of time and there are so many good shows but so few hours in the day.

The whole time Iris talked about Spencer on the bleachers, she was completely describing herself. "she didn't last very long" "she wanted to be famous and make a name for herself but she didn't care how it happened" LOL But one of Iris' sentences is quote worthy, when she told Barry. "She is not the problem... I am" For once I completely agree with Iris ;) lol

If Caitlyn is talking to someone else you guys are like OMG why isn’t Caitlyn not talking to Barry. It is so pathetic. You guys hate on iris even if she literally just breaths. I know iris was annoying as hell in s4 but that doesn’t mean you guys got to hate on her in s5. She is not bad this season. You guys don’t get the point. Iris lost Barry and didn’t want to lose her daughter too. So, she dampened Nora powers because she didn’t want to lose Nora like how she lost Barry.
Do you know, all in the ep hinted Nora is being manipulated by someone, and that isn't her mother. Nora hates Cat too, in the season 4 she is looking her and Harry with a mean eye and she never actually talks with Cat in season 5. Maybe because Cat was the doctor to do the operation to put the chip there. And even if Nora isn't smart enough to see it, Joe and Cecile had be into it too, it' s impossible Iris could keep it from them. Sooo… yeah, you must hate pretty much all the cast for that decision.

This episode wasn't all that great but what can i say...iris is an ass and always will be... I'm really missing Cisco... I feel bad for Nora and and truly hope she keeps giving iris a cold shoulder.... Well Barry wasn't all that bad... Love the new wells and Ralph bonding.. And finally my one and only queen Caitlin who will forever be the best.. I love her and her scenes were great always having Barry's back unlike some others i really wish he knew but whatever... Now I know what happened towards at the end of episode 5x17 and the whole 5x18. This episode proved why Iris is a TERRIBLE mother to Nora. Because of Iris, Nora ended up working with her father's worst enemy, Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash.
Nora changed the timeline travelling back in time. Before she showed up to everybody, Iris said to Barry she was wondering to have a baby. And if with Nora as an adult, that idea disappears, and so do she in the future? Nora won’t exist anymore.

My hat goes to you for still making this video when like you say there were 35 episodes where there's was not a proper snowbarry moment, and yes your frustration is damn well deserved i am feeling that too. And like i keep commenting is not pretty, but since they were engage the writers had to separate those two because well... the obvious chemistry they have, and in doing so we lost a freaking friendship and the support he obviously would had given to cait otherwise (because of his character in the early seasons not the asshole he is now).
In my opinion the funniest thing about this episode is that iris is trying to gain a good relationship with Nora when she did the total Reverse of that.
Oh, great. First, a Crazy Man changed the history and created metahumans. Then, a crazy speedster brought metadoppelgangers. After that, a time paradox created metahumans, and some more appeared (best double girl caitfrost). After that, Barry came back and created another dozen of metahumans. And now, METATECH. If optimus prime appears somewhere, i'm going to think that the flash is not the fastest man alive, but the most trolled man ever to be lived. And no SnowBarry canon!? HOW I SUPPOUSE TO SEE THIS THEN!?
"Run Barry Run"...He should have done that at his wedding. Too late now. Also, that was some great acting by Jessica Parker Kennedy in that last scene. For the first time on the series, she actually sounded like an adult. The writers and actress needs to stop with the kid act because it doesn't look good on her character.

I get the feeling Nora is going to move in wait cait eventually. She wanted to get away from iris and she went to the one place she can reach her the easiest.
Look I'm not shaming u or anything, take it lightly, I'm just giving my opinion. I want Barry to help caitlin and be with her more than anyone else, but as u said it has been over 35 episodes since Barry and caitlin are not even having a proper conversation, don't u think it's wrong that caitlin has to be dependant on Barry to help her solve her problems. In the start I can understand that what Barry is doing is unfair and that caitlin has the right to be angry, but don't u think its been over a season since the writers are not changing their storyline, so probably they're not gonna change it in the future as well. Having Ralph with cait doesn't only increase their friendship and gives caitlin a new friend after all that drama, but also shows that caitlin isn't dependent on Barry anymore. It shows that she HAS other friends like cisco and Ralph who will willingly help her if needed. Also have u noticed, Ralph was a great friend of Barry in season 4 and they had many funny and emotional conversations with each other (just like cait and Barry in S1 and S2). And both of them got pushed away in the present seasons. So this is like all those people who got rejected by Barry are getting together and proving that they don't always need Barry to help or save them. Even though Barry and cait make such a good pair, Ralph and caitlin (as friends) isn't that bad as well. U may not think what I think, but its just my opinion. And plus everyone on the flash is like too serious and Ralph just adds a different taste as he is sarcastic and funny. This is why I think that Ralph is a great addition to the show.
Am I the only one who thinks they are trying to make us hate Barry too? He is not only letting his friends alone when they need him the most since... a lot of episodes. He is so blinded by his "love" for Iris (in my opinion, he is forcing himself to love her for some reason) that he is acting a lot like someone who he isn't. I miss the Barry from the first season, who was always trying to do the right thing, listening every side of the story and trying to help in any way he could, and now I think that's gone. That was one of the things that made me fall in love with this show in the first place and I haven't seen an episode since 4x15, I think (I haven't been following the series since the end of season 3, if I'm being honest), because I can't understand how they could do this to The Flash. Iris comes first for him, always, and not even his friends have a little of his attention. I saw on twitter how he went and supported Iris with the thing that happened to Nora, and this is getting ridiculous. Any parent would've supported their child because he/she should be the most important person in their life, and even if he had agreed with Iris' decision, he should've talked to Nora about it. The old Barry would've and that's what makes me so sad.

latoya presil I think the admin is just angry that instead of Barry helping her with this, which would be more reasonable based on their parallels and earlier friendship, the writers put him away to deal with West-Allen family issues and made Ralph help her with this instead. okay, don't come at me but I wish that Iris had died instead of HR (because his death just hurts much more than her would've) and then later in the story Snowbarry could've happened. Caitlin anyways cares more about Barry than Iris ever will. Iris is always getting angry at Barry instead of mking him realise where he went wrong, she puts all the blame on him, whereas Caitlin is always trying to get him to realise where he went wrong. In WA, clearly Barry cares more about their relationship than Iris but in Snowbarry, they BOTH care deeply about each other. When everybody realises the truth about Nora, Iris doesn't even care that Nora is working with Eobard and even Barry points it out and she doesn't deny it. That was really messed up. And when Barry sees the billion possible futures but the only way for everyone's survival is his death, Iris gets angry at him and leaves the room. I mean I get it she was upset but honestly sometimes she just overreacts and that really annoys me because you never see a scene where Barry walks away from Iris, it's always her that doubting him or getting mad at him. Ever since the Flash started i was a Snowbarry shipper because i though the actors had an incredible chemistry but then in Season 3 i really started to like Iris and also West Allen and let's be honest now that Barry and Iris are married and we know they're gonna have kids in the future we know Snowbarry is NEVER going to happen Plus since Season 5 started they didn't even had one a scene together. I read in an article that the writers were considering making Snowbarry happen but Grant Gustin turned down the idea because Iris is Barry’s true love and they shouldn’t change anything.

@@writ_ten Yeah during this whole crossover filming from all accounts (mostly social media) Candice has been enjoying a long vacation home in California while Grant, Danielle, Carlos, and Tom have been in Vancouver most if not the whole time. Hartley Swayer (Ralph) did show up for filming later on and I have no idea if Jessica (who plays Nora) is involved either. What I do know is that Stephen Amell worked with Danielle, Ruby Rose (batwoman), and Grant in one day and assumedly all together and with the amount Danielle has been on set according to her social media she's apperently very involved! Which in general is just very exciting!

While for the most part, I really liked the cross-over last season because I got to see so many of my favourite shows hang-out for some social gathering or other (quite in the back, WA, I don't care) I like how it kind of renewed a few of the friendships we've seen in previous seasons. Professor Stein...I loved his character since his first appearance to his last which had me, no joke, bawling my eyes out. Victor Garber (Stein) and Franz Drameh (Jefferson) were incredible in the cross-over, as were a lot of other characters. I have to admit, I'm not surprised that Iris won't be making any significant appearance this crossover since the last crossover more or less showed how very little she actually contributes to the show as a whole. She didn't help in the initial attack stage where the enemies are introduced, or the fact-gathering stage, or the planning stage or the initial execution stage, or the shit hits the fan stage or the recovery stage. All other characters had skills that applied to 2 or more of those stages, but Iris just was ushered to safety, spun on her chair and gave pep-talks when other people were trying to get stuff done and generally did what literally anyone else could have done, say Wally who was sidelined permanently after the wedding.
It will be interesting if keeping the Legends out of the crossover this time will mean not only more scenes for the *main* trio (Oliver, Barry & Kara) with Batwoman being this year's trial run for a new series (like Barry's cameo in Arrow) but a good amount of scenes for the rest of the cast too, especially since we'll be seeing Lois Lane for the first time as well. And since Caitlin's dad is pretty much (I mean Icicle Cometh?) unofficially confirmed as Icicle, she could be tied to why the team go to whichever version of Gotham it turns out to be since I think he was primarily a Gotham villain, and maybe could lead to Earth-1's version of Charlie Snow who Earth-2 mentioned in season 2, and could feasibly be Icicle Jr who 'has no need for a 'cold gun', as his father's prolonged exposure to the weapon altered his genetics, allowing him to biologically pass down to his son the ability to freeze objects and people or to lower the temperature of a room or other area.' or be like how KF was originally, with his powers taking over his personality and near the end of this season maybe Caitlin will have to choose between the family she was born into, and the family she made for herself who sometimes (a lot of the time) take her for granted.
And Amell's wife will be in the crossover too, playing Dr.Freeze's wife which must be so exciting for both of them (though apparently, Dr.Freeze himself will not appear).
I ALMOST completely agree with what you said at 4:42 but I feel like Barry would definitely help her with her dad but he doesn't know. If you remember they showed when Sherloque first came in and analyzed everybody that Barry doesn't know about her dad. When Sherloque said something about Caitlin needing his services later for a problem of her own Barry looked at her in confusion and silently asked her what Sherloque was talking about and she shook her head. Barry doesn't even know about her dad so he can't help
Caitlin never told him, because she does not want to burden people (esp Barry) with her problems.
By the synopsis for 5x06 The Icicle Cometh it sounds like something is about to go down and Barry's going to find out. I'm very curious what will be cause enough for that information to finally come to light...

If i was Caitlin, Cisco and every versions of Wells, i would quit this show, just to see how Barry, Iris, Nora, Joe, Cecile and Ralph can handle a whole season without the 3 real genius ! Maybe the ratings will shutdown even more, then the writers could make a few adjustments or just cancelled the show !

I like how Barry supported Iris's breakfast and ate it even though he knew it was terrible while Iris didn't even try to stick up for him when they said Barry is bad at sports. I also like how Barry never argues with Iris or questions her decisions, even when he knows she's wrong. He just nods and goes along with it (episode 4x02 and the wedding scene in 4x03 are good examples). They have terrible chemistry.
I know it's some Mary Sue s**t. Nobody ever tells Iris off/argues with her, except for Joe (luckily). It's like Felicity all over again. 🙄

I absolutely agree with the parallels you've drawn between Nora and Caitlin, and I know it won't happen, but developing some sort of dynamic between them actually makes perfect sense, and on top of that, Danielle and Jessica work really well together.
As far as I know, it's their 2nd project together. They did a rom-com called Nearly-weds where they are 2 of 3 best-friend main characters where Danielle is a doctor as well. She's pretty much cast as a lady with brains for most (not all) of her projects.

How come Nora can interact with her parents like that, without influencing the future big time? She is confirmed as having DNA material from both Barry and Iris, Caitlin did a check in 5x01. So what gives? Where are the dementors that usually try to hunt down speedsters who mess with time? One easy answer: Nora is not from the same earth/universe as "our" Barry and Iris. (in the comics, XS is not from this earth either).

But then she thought about what Barry said to her and then she thought another what she did when she saved Barry's life. And she realised that she wasn't in the wrong and she knows that everything she does and is going to do will be to protect her family. Just like how she protected her family in this episode. And it's not just the fact that she's his woman that he sided with her, it's that he has known her his entire life and he knows her heart and who she is and he knows based on past experiences with her that she wouldn't do anything to harm her family.

There are few thoughts I had about this episode that only really came to mind a while after watching TeamForwood's video of this episode and watching yours too:
1) It's kind of annoying that Cisco's not in this weeks show, but they still used his powers (the breach discs) to help Iris save the day. I mean I understood them when they were being used as a breach between two separate universes with pre-set destinations on each side: if you use it to travel to Kara's Earth you end up at her apartment, and when you use it to go the other way you end up at Star labs, which made a kind of sense since the destination was the fixed point beforehand for each disc so their friends from other universes could visit or ask for help for crossovers. But now they have Iris use it to travel to England or at a random baseball field at the drop of a hat, kind of undercutting Cisco and his powers in the process. I mean, that's the only way she could have gotten there so quickly and does it now just work by thinking about where you want to end up and it spits you out the other side like floo powder from Harry Potter?
2)I feel so bad for Nora by the end of this episode. A part of me can see why Iris would want to protect Nora from being hurt after she lost Barry, but for it to be so drastic and permanent as a power-dampening chip under her skin, especially since she was only about 4 at the time, I'm not sure I wouldn't have reacted the same if I was in Nora's place. Why not have something like Caitlin had when she was scared of turning into Killer Frost, or Karolina Dean fro the Runaways? That way Norajr could have worn the dampeners during school etc when her emotions would be more likely to expose her powers and then she could take it off at home or when she was learning to control them? Add to that, didn't Iris lash out at Joe in 3 different timelines when he hid that her mum was still alive from her? And when he hid that Barry was the Flash (which to be fair wasn't his secret to tell) in order to 'protect her'? And didn't Wally get upset with Iris when she tried to control whether or not he used *his* powers because *she* thought they were too dangerous, even though she was perfectly fine with Barry using his?
3)I felt so bad for Nora when Barry (her dad who she's been idolising most of her life who she probably thought would be on her side in her anger at Iris making such a monumental decision and taking away a choice that should have been made by Nora, at least as an adult) didn't listen to more than the basic fact that Iris had taken Nora's powers when she was little with power-dampeners before siding with Iris stating: "I'm sure she had her reasons." Honestly, in Nora's place, I'd be both disillusioned and devastated if my dad didn't even question why my mother took away something that is so important in his own life, and to not even question it or try to understand her point of view, just dismissing her anger and betrayal and saying Iris was in the right when he knew *nothing* about the situation just seems like Barry doesn't really question any of Iris' choices and decisions, he just goes along with them with no opinion of his own. Though I am really glad that Norajr showed some self-worth to get herself away from a situation where her opinions and feeling were being dismissed, and that Joe and Cecille welcomed her with open arms was great too.
4)I really hope they have some bonding moments between Caitlin and Nora about parents locking away powers when they were young without being told because I think Caitlin would stay neutral-ish and not necessarily take sides but maybe try to get Nora to see things from her mothers' point of view (Caitlin is ever the peacemaker) while also letting Norajr vent and maybe sharing her own thoughts etc about when Cisco's vibe revealed she had powers when she was a kid and just didn't remember it. It would be a female friendship based on shared experiences, would give both women someone to confide in with similar experiences that could relate to them. Maybe even bring in Felicity from Star City and her dad's absence from her childhood because Donna was protecting her (no judgement, Donna Smoak is an awesome mum), maybe over margarita's during the crossover, or even a normal episode (Arrow did it with Felicity, Thea, Lyla and baby Sara) with Iris not being able to make it because she's 'working' or angry with Nora for being angry at her and Caitlin, Norajr and Cecile (who probably would appreciate being invited and could use the adult time) could have a girls night, just not a cliche like the forced bachelorette party. It was one of the cringiest episodes of any tv show I've ever seen, though drunk Barry was funny. It would be a prime opportunity that the writers will probably pass up mainly because the only female friendships they seem to try and show is Iris trying to be friends with people and failing with everyone but Felicity who was very much nerfed to try and prop up Iris as her equal as co-leader and asset to the team. Say what you will about Felicity, but sooo many people would be dead without her being on Team Arrow.
5)I know Norajr's new and for the most part, I like her (a lot of it is because she doesn't kiss Iris' ass...yet. You know the writers will have it end up that way, but until then she's honest) but why is she the one being front and centre in every fight scene now? I know we're seeing Barry being her mentor and everything but is this still the Flash, or is it just the West-Allen show at this point and they just haven't bothered to change the name? Who am I kidding, of course it is. They had Iris take over every part of Barry's life except his job at CCPD (which he lost halfway through last season anyway) and now he has his job back he has another WA there too. There is no part of his life that is just his anymore. Barry and Iris have the same family, they live together (obviously, and perfectly fine), Iris has taken over as leader of team Flash for some reason, he no-longer spends any time with his friends, and the few times he's seen them outside of work has been as part of a group that included all the other West's which would be fine if there was scenes with just him and his friends and now he doesn't even have his job as escape anymore, now that Nora is 'interning' there too. And now he can't even seem to have an opinion that isn't pretty much either: 'Iris is right' or 'Iris must have her reasons'. Most of the time now, Barry just seems like he's going through the motions. He's lost his spark. The part of him that was nerdy, intelligent, curious and thought for himself. Ahhh, season 1&2 Barry, how we miss you.
6)Who else finds it *hilariously* hypocritical of Iris to bad-mouth Spencer for writing about XS to further her app and her journalism career when Iris did the exact same thing in season 1, except where Spencer is creating the news herself using her phone, Iris was handed information literally no-one else could get and passed it off as her own research which ended up skyrocketing her blogs popularity and netting her journalist job probably because they thought she could find out nearly impossible to find information that no-one else could get. Add it to the 'times Iris was a hypocrite' list. Ooooh it's getting long now 😁
This is such a good read. i agree with you 100%. i am just so done with the bad writing, like it really makes me feel sad that these writers who wrote Caitlin and Cisco to be these wonderful characters write that damned show. every episode i see toxicity and hypocracy is all they write when it comes to iris. love the friendship between cecile and caitlin, would love to see nora join in on that. the show and the character interactions just feel more natural without iris there tbh unless they throwing shade, lol.
@@hal216 The difference is that Cisco and Caitlin were written as 3-dimensional characters that stand up on their own merit, while Iris was written as Barry's future love interest. It's the same with Laurel in the Arrow and, from what I heard, James from Supergirl; it wasn't until they got booted from the love interest spot for more fleshed out characters that they really came into their own. The only reason that a lot of characters missed that trap on Legends was that they were mostly fully-formed characters introduced on other shows and brought over to Legends where they just got more chances to shine. Though as I said on a previous TeamForwood video Kendra Saunders (Hawk Girl) could have used a bit more independence to her storyline instead of it just being about her being destined to be with her hubby and always re-incarnating to find each other, that's more an episode or two story than an entire character arc...actually I think I saw an episode just like it on Blood Ties...nevermind.
I really like Cecile as a character, not just because she's such a good fit with Joe who has focused on his kids and career for so long that he deserves some happiness of his own, but also because she has integrity and works hard at her own career and even though she finds team Flash stuff fascinating she knows when to put in her 2 cents in and when to let the scientists do their thing. She and Joe are kind of the parental figures to the 'kids', doling out advice and being a sounding board when needed, even using their day jobs to help out the team when they can. And they fit those roles wonderfully. So if we're going to see more Cecile, I hope the writers stay true to her character and not just use her as another person to tell Iris she's doing everything right and that they'd all be lost without her. As much as I love Joe and Cecile (and I do) I don't want Cecile to be so insecure about her relationship with Joe that she can't voice her *own* opinion when it comes to Barry, Iris and Wally, even if it's not as rose-tinted as Joe's is of certain children, maybe even suggesting either not taking sides (Norajr needs *some* allies, and Joe tends to side with Iris on most things) or have them agree to disagree but respect each other's opinions. Like an actual couple, not whatever WA is now.
Side note: Where is Wally exactly? I haven't really seen any scenes of him since the season opener so did I miss someone explaining or...?
@@ALittleTooWordy i agree about Caitlin and Cisco. i do wish they would give an independent storyline to cisco but i am content with his story with gypsy and being an actual friend to Cait is a wonderful aspect too. Caitlin is the only character in the show who has an independent story and it works so well because they developed it from the beginning and her character is written beautifully with how much she supports everyone around her, how she encourages them and always looks at the good side of things.she grew up without a father or an active parent to lean on and yet she grew into this amazing person and i love her for it. also how she never burdens others with her pain and goes through it all alone and still helps out the team in more ways than any other member. a true female lead to look upto and learn from that choosing to be kind to others is powerful.
At first i was afraid Cecile was just another character who would put iris on a pedestal and i have been happy with her so far. she doesnt necessarily always praise westallen and like you said, is an independent hard working mother and that is a really good storyline outside of being Joe's wife. also i really do like joe and Cecile's relationship, she confides in him and he helps her when she is in doubt and most importantly, the only reason i liked that whole reading minds storyline was because she actually got to know joe's actual opinion. i think it also goes to show how the writers write the male/husband characters to just agree with their respective wives' opinion and keep their own to themself. and i liked it because she dealed with those thoughts of his the right way, she talked to him about it and he *talked* back and told her his side which is a good relationship. and both of their acting is just adorable. their expressions and actions are cute. i do want Cecile to take a mother role to iris -just to tell her when she is being bossy and controlling or just being a hypocrite, it would be a pleasure to see iris be put in her place without it being turned into another amazing thing iris did in minutes disregarding her characters faults.
I cant talk for legends because i stopped watching because of the hawkgirl storyline, i found it too much at the time and decided to stop. though i think, i am not sure when, but i read somewhere that keiynan lonsdale has taken a break or something for a while.
@@hal216 It is really surprising how few characters in the Arrowverse grew up in the 'normal' nuclear families, I mean off the top of my head I can only think of the Queens, where both parents cheated which is how Thea was created (another character that grew so much through her series and I *LOVE* how she took Oliver telling her he was the Arrow, it was amazing) and that is honestly the only hero/team member family where we see the parents still both alive and together with adult kids...unless you count Flashpoint or Earth-2 Barry but they were more there to tempt him the 'perfect' life he was missing but really being there to appreciate that what he's always wanted may not be what he actually needs. Not disrespecting his parents or the impact on who he becomes, just pointing out a theory.
I'm really pleased and honestly surprised how much screentime they've given Caitlin's story already this season, because a huge let down for season 3&4 (among many other let downs) was that they teased more Caitlin and Killer Frost than they delivered, then again they did the same with OTF moments too which was kind of a double slap in the face for a lot of us. I think her story works so well because, as you mentioned, it has been built up for a *very* long time and it can incorporate the other team members and use their civilian skills, like Ralph and his P.I skills (which might be an unpopular move since a lot of people want OTF but with how WA focused Barry has been since season 3 it would be jarring if it was all swept under the rug and they acted like nothing happened) whereas the main storyline (Norajr) has been very WA/West insulated so far. We might get a few scenes where one of the others pop in and out, but for the most part it's Barry, Iris and Norajr, and with the writing been for the last few seasons I doubt they'll steer too far from that, except to maybe bring in Joe and Cecile for a few West family scenes, though I won't be upset if I'm wrong.
Caitlin has always kind of been a character who will drop everything to help someone else out but hesitates to *ask* for help which, given her past, I'd say is pretty in character. She's had only had herself to rely on for so long and there is usually so much going on with everyone in the group, that she might feel like she's bothering them if she asks for help. Not that they'd see it that way, but given how little she's actually been helped (Cisco usually being the exception) when she's needed it I can see where she's coming from. Even when she's been promised help in the past, she's still usually the last priority if she's a priority at all, and just ends up working on her own problems in the spare time between helping everybody else. The episode before the season 4 finale is a prime example: She gets called out of her therapy session early (which happens to pretty much on the team, so it's usual) and she, Cisco and Barry figure out Devoe's next move because of the scrambled blog post (which was so clearly a trap it wasn't funny, I mean they knew it in seconds) then she and Cisco convince Barry to train them to help save the hostages so he can stop Devoe, they train, take a break where Caitlin reassures Cecile and Joe where Cecile gives her advice (really love those two) and then goes back to training, gets knocked down but gets back up again (they're never gonna keep her down!) and then she and Cisco save 6 people's lives while Barry goes after Devoe. And that's one episode, the only OTF episode of the season, true. But even in the cringiest episode of the season (Girls Night Out) Caitlin harnessing her fears and voluntarily turning into Killer Frost is the only reason Iris and Felicity are still alive after their 'attempt' to stop Amunet (seriously, did they even *have* a plan?)
Cecile is a really well-balanced character, but then again a lot of the other characters were too before they were nerfed to make Iris their leader. Maybe Barry's that way with Iris, because that's how Joe taught him a husband should be like? I mean he raised him since he was 11 and Joe knew about Barry's crush on Iris since he developed it so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that Joe kind of steered his behaviour to be someone that catered to Iris in everything since that's how it turned out and Iris pretty much insisted upon since he got out of the speedforce. The episode after his return he was making his own decisions, but since then whenever he's tried to make a decision or think for himself Iris has been there to slap him down with "we're the Flash" and he always says she's right even when he doesn't agree with her (Devoe's on her blog). I don't actually think Cecile and Joe are married, they're still just dating.
I haven't watched Legends since the season 1 finale, not because I didn't like it (Leo, NO!) but because I just never got around to watching season 2 because life takes up a lot of time and there are so many good shows but so few hours in the day.

But one of Iris' sentences is quote worthy, when she told Barry. "She is not the problem... I am" For once I completely agree with Iris ;) lol

Do you know, all in the ep hinted Nora is being manipulated by someone, and that isn't her mother. Nora hates Cat too, in the season 4 she is looking her and Harry with a mean eye and she never actually talks with Cat in season 5. Maybe because Cat was the doctor to do the operation to put the chip there. And even if Nora isn't smart enough to see it, Joe and Cecile had be into it too, it' s impossible Iris could keep it from them. Sooo… yeah, you must hate pretty much all the cast for that decision.

Now I know what happened towards at the end of episode 5x17 and the whole 5x18. This episode proved why Iris is a TERRIBLE mother to Nora. Because of Iris, Nora ended up working with her father's worst enemy, Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash.

My hat goes to you for still making this video when like you say there were 35 episodes where there's was not a proper snowbarry moment, and yes your frustration is damn well deserved i am feeling that too.
And like i keep commenting is not pretty, but since they were engage the writers had to separate those two because well... the obvious chemistry they have, and in doing so we lost a freaking friendship and the support he obviously would had given to cait otherwise (because of his character in the early seasons not the asshole he is now).

I get the feeling Nora is going to move in wait cait eventually. She wanted to get away from iris and she went to the one place she can reach her the easiest.
Look I'm not shaming u or anything, take it lightly, I'm just giving my opinion. I want Barry to help caitlin and be with her more than anyone else, but as u said it has been over 35 episodes since Barry and caitlin are not even having a proper conversation, don't u think it's wrong that caitlin has to be dependant on Barry to help her solve her problems. In the start I can understand that what Barry is doing is unfair and that caitlin has the right to be angry, but don't u think its been over a season since the writers are not changing their storyline, so probably they're not gonna change it in the future as well. Having Ralph with cait doesn't only increase their friendship and gives caitlin a new friend after all that drama, but also shows that caitlin isn't dependent on Barry anymore. It shows that she HAS other friends like cisco and Ralph who will willingly help her if needed. Also have u noticed, Ralph was a great friend of Barry in season 4 and they had many funny and emotional conversations with each other (just like cait and Barry in S1 and S2). And both of them got pushed away in the present seasons. So this is like all those people who got rejected by Barry are getting together and proving that they don't always need Barry to help or save them. Even though Barry and cait make such a good pair, Ralph and caitlin (as friends) isn't that bad as well. U may not think what I think, but its just my opinion. And plus everyone on the flash is like too serious and Ralph just adds a different taste as he is sarcastic and funny. This is why I think that Ralph is a great addition to the show.
Am I the only one who thinks they are trying to make us hate Barry too? He is not only letting his friends alone when they need him the most since... a lot of episodes. He is so blinded by his "love" for Iris (in my opinion, he is forcing himself to love her for some reason) that he is acting a lot like someone who he isn't. I miss the Barry from the first season, who was always trying to do the right thing, listening every side of the story and trying to help in any way he could, and now I think that's gone. That was one of the things that made me fall in love with this show in the first place and I haven't seen an episode since 4x15, I think (I haven't been following the series since the end of season 3, if I'm being honest), because I can't understand how they could do this to The Flash.
Iris comes first for him, always, and not even his friends have a little of his attention. I saw on twitter how he went and supported Iris with the thing that happened to Nora, and this is getting ridiculous. Any parent would've supported their child because he/she should be the most important person in their life, and even if he had agreed with Iris' decision, he should've talked to Nora about it. The old Barry would've and that's what makes me so sad.
ZuuCorrales I don’t think they are purposefully trying to make us hate Barry, but I’ve grown to. I just don’t like his character anymore. It’s not just that Iris controls him and he allows her to manipulate him, but he’s degenerated into a sorry excuse for a hero. He’s seemed totally incompetent since he created Flashpoint.

I love this channel and I agree with almost everything you say except when it comes to Ralph I think Ralph has earned his stripes on this team and I also believe he's more than just a coworker but an actual friend to team flash I don't think he's replacing Barry or Cisco or anyone he's a legit part of the team so it would make sense that he'd want to help Caitlin when Barry can't I'm sorry I just don't understand your dislike toward him unless you believe there's a possibility that Caitlin and Ralph are going to get together which I doubt since the idea was shut down by Danielle just saying again I'm a huge fan of this channel
latoya presil I think the admin is just angry that instead of Barry helping her with this, which would be more reasonable based on their parallels and earlier friendship, the writers put him away to deal with West-Allen family issues and made Ralph help her with this instead. Ralph isn’t a bad guy (anymore), but Barry is the one ignoring his friends.

okay, don't come at me but I wish that Iris had died instead of HR (because his death just hurts much more than her would've) and then later in the story Snowbarry could've happened. Caitlin anyways cares more about Barry than Iris ever will. Iris is always getting angry at Barry instead of mking him realise where he went wrong, she puts all the blame on him, whereas Caitlin is always trying to get him to realise where he went wrong. In WA, clearly Barry cares more about their relationship than Iris but in Snowbarry, they BOTH care deeply about each other. When everybody realises the truth about Nora, Iris doesn't even care that Nora is working with Eobard and even Barry points it out and she doesn't deny it. That was really messed up. And when Barry sees the billion possible futures but the only way for everyone's survival is his death, Iris gets angry at him and leaves the room. I mean I get it she was upset but honestly sometimes she just overreacts and that really annoys me because you never see a scene where Barry walks away from Iris, it's always her that doubting him or getting mad at him.

Ever since the Flash started i was a Snowbarry shipper because i though the actors had an incredible chemistry but then in Season 3 i really started to like Iris and also West Allen and let's be honest now that Barry and Iris are married and we know they're gonna have kids in the future we know Snowbarry is NEVER going to happen
Plus since Season 5 started they didn't even had one a scene together.
Maybe the writers will make some Snowbarry shippers happy showing us a SNOWBARRY couple on another earth.
PS: I don't mind people notre liking the charaters of Iris but when they attacks the actress on her social acounts it really bothers me

I am glad Barry and Catlin had a scene this week. I get the written do not want Barry and Catlin together. They need some episode where irginal Team Flash is back together. At least show will be less West Center Martin Jessie is taking a leave absent. Wally gone writers just need to get Iris writing more. The writers have made Iris center of the Flash, Felicity for arrow, Sarah for Legends, and Kara for for Supergirl. Sara being the only one who does a good job being the led of the show.
