My message is to people who are Muslims from birth please take care of those brothers and sisters who revert to Islam sadly we have seen many have left due to because not having any support after reverting this is a sad sad reality and more has to be done from us to help those in need of support during the difficult moments
I took Shahada many years ago, but over time I fell away from Islam. I won't say the only thing, but a major factor was that in that mosque in 1994, converts who spoke nothing but English (in my part of the USA) were mostly ignored. When I began to have problems with my Islamic beliefs and practice, I had no one to turn to for guidance. After all these years I am somewhat attracted back to Islam, but again, complicated by the covid-19 pandemic, I have no one to turn to for assistance. I strongly suspect that I am not alone among converts and former converts. (I have heard and read from Muslim!!! sources that a large majority of converts to Islam in North America sooner or later fall away and do not die as consciously self identified Muslims.)

I never married and am all alone. My personal experiences (I won't speak for others) have been that so many Muslims are not reliable. They talk a big talk, but when it comes down to the crunch they do not deliver. Just talk. I have been disappointed again and again over the years with Muslims. Again, I am attracted back to Islam, but I have no one to talk to in my area who speaks native English, so I am all alone. .
