every time God speaks in the Koran he does it as "We", "Us", Our", over 100 times!... showing that God is not single , but several in one divine being: In Sura 37:70-130 the Koran repeats it at least 17 times: "Noah prayed to Us... We bestowed on him... We gave him... We reword the righteous" and every time writes them with capital, "We", Us", "Our"... "Then We sent forth Moses and Aaron with Our signs" (10:75)... over and over is repeated in the same way in Suras 7:1-11, 2, 6, 10..

Hamas Explains Use of Civilians as Human Shields

"We desire death as you desire life."
The UN announcement that 51 civilians have died in the conflict in Gaza must be understood in the context of Hamas's declared ideology to use civilians as human shields for Hamas fighters. Indeed, Hamas continues to emphasize and promote the religious ideology that death for Allah is an ideal to be actively pursued.
For those who find it hard to believe that Allah was a pagan name for a peculiar pagan Arabian deity in pre-Islamic times, the following quotations may be helpful:

Yusuf Ali, however, translates this verse as:
"on none by that name have We conferred distinction before."
His escuse ". for we read of a Johanan ... in 2 Kings 25:23." In other words, Yusuf Ali knew that the verse is historically incorrect, and therefore changed the translation, or did he think that the Quran verse does not mean what it literally means? How can one take such liberty in translation? this casts a great deal of doubt upon the accuracy of his translations and his intentions.
In this regard, Sheikh `Atiyyah Saqr, former head of Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee, states:
The issue of translating the Qur'an has been much debated since the first third of the 20th century. However, the translation of the Qur'an can never be considered as a Qur'an in itself, in its rulings and sacredness. The reason for this is that translation is not the word of Allah which was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him);

The Koran contains many Biblical characters, but the stories are mixed up. The variations came from either the Jewish Haggada or the New Testament apocrypha or they are simply mistakes made by a listener (e.g. Haman is believed to be the minister of Pharaoh, and Mary is believed to be the sister of Aaron).

The alternative measure for fastest growing religion in the world is growth by the number of new adherents. That is, the religion to gain more new believers each period would be the fastest growing religion.
As it stands the fastest growing religion by this measure is Christianity. Using the most up to date figures we determine that on average in 2007 Christianity gained 7-8million more adherents than any other religion (i.e. Islam, followed by Hinduism at 17million less).
