      John 16.2 "They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God."
      "Quran 9;29, "Fight that who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibited what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgement of superiorty and they are in a state of subjection.". Quran(3:151)"Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority". Quran (9:123) "O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness." @@bidenhasdementia8657 Why did you have to exert yourself so much? I wish you had read the Qur'anic verses properly and understood the meaning. "Nonbelievers" means those who worship demigods and not one God. In the Qur'an all holy books and prophets are revered. You are misleading yourself and the readers. This has always been a problem. Yes, one must believe in Allah which means God in English language, and Mohammad being the last prophet as also mentioned in the Bible and Torah. If you wish to ignore the verses of the Bible and torah what can be done. While corrupting the Bible they even corrupted the meanings of words like Mohammadin and translated that into lovely.

    This is a good reminder for myself. I am very eager to learn and feel really called Islam, but when I start looking at the small details of things I get overwhelmed and think “could I really maintain this?” You’re right though, Islam is simple and I don’t need to complicate it! That brings me to the question... what are the things that someone should know before taking their shahada? I feel like there’s so much to learn that I would be researching for a really long time before it felt like I could take my shahada. At what point do you just take that leap?

      Let’s not forget to mention famous Islamic scholars on social media who had debates and lectures like ( dr. Zakir Naik , Yusuf Estes , Ahmed Deedat ) where inshallah you can find answers to your questions .....

      Islam at its core is believing God and being and following Guidance of God, straight path. It does not mean you will become an Angel. None of us will ever be one, we are created that way. Away that if we do our best, we will be even better than Angels because we go trails and tribulations. Gradually implement essentials of Islam, prayer, charity, fasting and if you can Hajj being essentials. As you follow along and try your best, you will find what was harder for you before becoming easy. God says that in Quran that who have consciousness of God he will make the path easy.

    Thank you so much sister for all your advice. I converted seven years ago in a sunni mosque in a country with almost no muslims at all. The women at the mosque taught me everything and I read as much as I could...for two years or more I was a strict muslima. But I got to the point of burnout....total social isolation because of my hijab...people seemed to think I was getting crazy...and seeing so much hypocresy going on at the masjid made me lose my trust in those people. There were even rumors of some of them doing witchcraft. I just shook it all off at one point. Still I am a believer and I love Islam but dont follow most of the rules. Now to me it seems that who loves Allah, does good and is honest and caring, prays and helps others is a good muslim. I suffered so much from the haram police...it made me doubt the whole rule system. Today I wear modest but practical clothing and dont isolate from society. Almost afraid of meeting muslims because I fear the indoctrination! Of course not all are haram police. But that was my experience.

    A well known convert (sry I can’t think of the name) famously said “Thank God I knew Islam before I knew muslims, had i known muslims first I would have never known Islam.” Something to that effect - and I totally agree. Unfortunately way too many people try to one-up your islam or try to impose their rare/weird interpretation on you.
    There is a Quranist movement that I find quite beautiful because it’s just the simplest form of Islam possible and it’s totally clear. I have extensive opinions on various hadiths and “Scholar’’ interpretations but i’ll save you guys from all that.
    edit: I read that back and felt I needed to clarify - I am not trying to say that muslims are all wrong about Islam. There are many Muslims that are very tolerant and I overall think that arab culture in particular is wonderful.

      Rejecting Hadith and Sunnah isn't beautiful at all !
      and trying to create a simple lite Islam will result in anti Islam movement.. Being lazy learning about Islam and just manipulate the texts because it's annoying for some people isn't Islam.

    • @Dranamolous
      @Dranamolous 3 года назад +1

      @@mohamedsaeed9388 On being lazy, let me just correct you there - After years of listening to family about what is Sunnah and what the rules of life are, I decided one day to see for myself. I have spent many hours actually reading Hadith after finding out my family had never done so. I read chunks of both sahih buckhari and Sahih Muslim. Admittedly I did not finish (I had no idea that just those 2 are over 5000 pages long) - but I am literally the only person I know in my family that has even picked up and read Hadith.
      First of all I DO NOT reject sunnah. I believe being perfect means living like the prophet pbuh did. I just take Hadith for what it is - a work that was written by a scholar who interviewed people 150 years after the prophet died, trying to figure out how he lived. I believe there is value in learning Hadith but keeping this context in mind.
      Hadith is not a Holy work. It is the word of man listening to other people about how the prophet lived - Nobody involved having actually met him.

    • @mohamedsaeed9388
      @mohamedsaeed9388 3 года назад

      @@Dranamolous also I think you acknowledge that there are alot Quran verses is interpreted using Hadith too.
      Those people who collected Hadith used a very consice methodology to filter it and index it.
      People lack of understanding or using fiqh can't be resolved by just ignore sunnah at all and use Qur'an as last resort... Again, Qur'an tafseer is done and clarified by Hadith and by the prophet pubh Hadiths.
      Take care brother.

    • @Dranamolous
      @Dranamolous 3 года назад +1

      @@mohamedsaeed9388 yes the method was concise - I believe AlBukhari did the best he can but humans are fallible. In most cases the chain of narrators was 4 people long, over the course of 150-200 years. Of course I believe some of them are authentic. Some are clearly authentic (like the number of rakats which many narrators repeated) but others are not clear. Al-Bukhari himself collected some Hadiths from some people that completely contradict each other.
      Quran is word of God, Hadith is important, but it is not even close in importance compared to words of God. So calling myself a Quranist is not Islam lite, it means I put the word of God much much higher than the word of man. It means i can be skeptical about the scholars on TV and from Saudi Arabia. God gave me a brain just like those scholars so that when I am confused about something I can search for it myself. And If I cannot find a clear answer on something, then I just accept that we can not know every detail about how Muhammad pbuh lived and what he said.
      Peace brother.

      وقد اختلفت عبارات العلماء في معنى الفطرة. ونقل ابن حجر عن الطيبي، قال: والمراد تمكُّن الناس من الهدى في أصل الجبلة والتهيؤ لقبول الدين، أي الإيمان بوجود رب خالق. وقال المناوي في التعاريف: الفطرة الجبلة المتهيئة لقبول الدين، كذا عبر ابن الكمال، وقال الراغب: هي ما ركب الله في الإنسان من قوته على معرفة الإيمان، وقال الشريف: الخلقة التي جبل عليها الإنسان.
      ولكن البعض يفضل على تفسير الفطرة على انها الدين الإسلامي بالتحديد بالمعنى (اشهد ان لا اله الا الله وان محمد رسول الله )، وهدا غير منطقي، بل هي الإيمان بوجود رب خالق، فالإنسان مندو بدء الخليقة وهو يبحث عن رب يؤمن به ، ولهدا تعددت الديانات على مر العصور ، والدليل على دلك تفكر سيدنا ابراهيم بخالق هدا الكون
      بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
      { وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُرِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُوقِنِينَ فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ اللَّيْلُ رَأَىٰ كَوْكَبًا ۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَا أُحِبُّ الْآفِلِينَ فَلَمَّا رَأَى الْقَمَرَ بَازِغًا قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِنْ لَمْ يَهْدِنِي رَبِّي لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الضَّالِّينَ فَلَمَّا رَأَى الشَّمْسَ بَازِغَةً قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي هَٰذَا أَكْبَرُ ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَتْ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ} الأنعام

    I believe that is a very important video, new Muslims should be treated extra gently in order for their hearts to accept and love Islam. Allah named them المؤلفة قلوبهم or bringing hearts together, but people miss that fact due to several reasons and this video is a great reminder for this particular point.

    'Abdullah bin Salam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "O people, exchange greetings of peace (i.e., say: As-Salamu 'Alaikum to one another), feed people, strengthen the ties of kinship, and be in prayer when others are asleep, you will enter Jannah in peace." Do you have the trusted source of you can pray twice or is it an emotional story worthy of delivering no matter if it's trusted or a mirage that makes your content no matter if it's fabricated?

    • @dinisepta27
      @dinisepta27 3 года назад

      I would agree. Emotional story is nice for heart softener, either it for convert or "born-muslim". However, for legal ruling, especially salah, we need to be really really careful. And also for hadith or following the sunnah that are contextual and not general. We can see people attacking Islam by cherry picking verses or hadith out of their context. May Allah guides us and make it easy for us and allow us to reach Jannatul a'la with the Prophet SAW together, ameen.
      And for hijab, this resource might be helpful for you sister

    Very very good points made in this video. The duty of correcting someone in goodwill is sadly often misused in order to exert power and elitism. It's the intentions though that matter and people who criticize for the wrong reasons should remember that this is what will be counted on them in the end...

    Hi, I really enjoy your videos however this video seems to be wanting a reaction, (for the time it was posted) as you didn't grow up with Islam you didn't grow up with family members giving you these little pointers about islam which seemed to annoy you and may feel like nitpicking but you should be thankful to be revealed this new information to help you on your journey as you have basically started the religion backwards, with the most challenging parts; children learn the little things growing up then learn the 'big' things such as fasting, hijab, later on. It's not an 'ego trip' (as you put it) to correct someone in islam it is enhancing your knowledge. Islam is challenging for us all so we should remind each other and help one another when we can. Maybe updated version of this video due? P.S, still love your videos and majority of us have been in this videos phase in islam once

    Sister, there are hadeeths from the prophet PBUH that correct 100%. Called Sahih. And when people tell you about Haram things to do, ask them for the source. If it’s a correct Hadith then you MUST follow. Otherwise according to true Islam you are deviating from the truth god forbid. You can ask your family about this to confirm.
    Once you have accepted Islam you are obligated to do the Islam pillars including fasting.
    Also for the hadeeth you mentioned about the two prayers instead of 5, could you please provide the source? I have never heard of it and it could be incorrect.
    There is another hadeeth that’s 100% correct that a man came to the prophet PBUH and said he’s weak and can’t come to the masjid and asked if he could pray at home. The prophet PBUH asked the man, do you hear the call to prayer? The man answered: yes. The prophet said come to the masjid even if you had to crawl.
    This means prayer in masjid is very important but unfortunately most people choose comfort over obeying what god and his messenger PBUH ask. May god bless you and protect you and your family.
