Elvis was no just another singer entertainer he was special with the charisma very, very few men ever possessed. No singer entertainer could ever come close. Even most presidents of America never had the presents Elvis possessed. He was created by God to become the man he became. We who grew up with him, saw his movies or seen him in person will never forget him. He was charming and professional in person as well. No singer could ever out perform him on stage or ware the costumes he wore so perfectly. When Elvis was on stage he gave 110% of himself in every performance. He loved his audience and that showed. The greatest singer who ever sang a song.
Absolutely Agree! I was fortunate enough to see Elvis on June 26th 1977,. His very last concert before he flew to Memphis! We were in Indy., Market Square Arena! He was Phenomenal! He seemed perfectly Fine! Not Sick at all! And then,. Died about 6 weeks later,. Who knew

The show above is not 1973, it was Elvis the Concert. I was at Frankfurt/Germany 2010. The real band and background was on stage, him on video. All sound was live, except his voice.
this is one strange video, when it shows Elvis and then without him its like there was a magical time in the past, an atmosphere never to be repeated or equaled almost unreal and today without his presence its just okay.

I get goosebumps when I hear Elvis sing & his Band was Amazing! I was in high school when Elvis passed. I just wished Elvis would have taken better care of himself & just maybe we fans would have gotten to enjoy Elvis more in his lifetime! I honestly thought it was just such a waste of life of a beautiful talent! Since I was so young when Elvis died it would have been nice to grow up with him for many more years!

I'm stunned as I realize that we're just a few days away from the 45th anniversary of the King's passing. August 16, 1977... I was a young teen on summer break when the sad news was announced to the world 🌎 I was out of step with the musical tastes of most kids my age. I listened to the oldies and classic rock tunes played on KRTH 101 and the a.m. station- KRLA in southern California.
Elvis will never be completely gone as long as his fans love, remember, and celebrate him!

James Burton on the Fender Telecaster loyal to Elvis for 9 yrs untill Elvis died. Watched James was also with Ricky Nelson performing on Ossie and Harriet after a party as they jamed close till midnight in Ricky' s room untill they realized it was a school day the next day. James outlived Ricky too, but he got to play with both Ricky's sons and it was awesome. James Burton also known to be a 'very big' inspiration for Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones!
