i have an 04. when i got my G i looked at the forums and i went; plenum spacer, z tube with AEM dryflow in the stock airbox and invidia catback exhaust with x pipe. also got front strut brace which helped enormously with stability at high speeds. she pulls much harder on the freeway now. im not a stance guy but you know your shit and other than the air i like your build. keep it up

Gotta recommend ( Z1 /ISR Y pipe, Tomei Extreme Ti Single exit, Motordyne art pipes (they might be discontinued now im not sure)

back pressure's a huge myth and not sure why ppl think its real when there's 0 evidence backing it up. hell i straight piped my g35 sedan b4 selling it and it sounded badass. i did it cuz the exhaust was hanging and only had 1 deleted muffler. after deleting the y-pipe i noticed a massive increase in power but since i got it for cheap i sold it to get my money back since it needed alotta repairs. i kinda miss it but not really
Tbh I felt a huge difference from being straight piped to having a full exhaust system

@@g35panda54 also mine had an air intake which made around 300hp to the rear and regret selling it but 1 day me n my buddy mite work together in the trucking industry just to get by and eventually bunk in together

Yes they are faster, the only mustang that would beat the g35 back in the early 2000s-2007 is the 03-04 cobra because they came factory supercharged with like 385hp

I did the plenum spacer on mine. its an 05 g35x... I notice this mod over 75... Pulls cleaner and rpms stay a bit lower.

Go to a muffler shop and make them custom make your bracket that holds it up trust me it’ll work out

No your intake pipe gets really hot and your filter is made for the weather. They also have shield bags to wrap around your filter

You can pass smog with the aftermarket exhaust and if you have a flame map you could always go back to your stock map when you get to and you could go back to your OEM map
