I'll add something. A common mistake, is to improvise. When off piste, one has to visualize their line before dropping. Observe the forms, the windlips, the trees, etc, and make a line in your mind, with the turns you want to do in the places you want to do, the ollies you want to do, etc. Then, if a turn or something doesn't go as planned, it's time to improvise. For instance: you can do the biggest bs turn pow spray ever, but you'll probably get blind for a couple of seconds. If you previously planned that spray, and knew what was there (trees, bumps, clear terrain, etc) right after the turn, you won't panic and stop, and you'll get a fluid awesome line. It's like: "ok, I drop here, then I speed up to that lip, bs turn, but it will slow me down and probably get a little blind cause the pow in my goggles, so I need to speed up again for that pow tit where I want to do an ollie and possibly an indy. The landing is soft and clear and then there's a tree line so I have to be careful..." Something like that. Not dropping and turn, stop, look, another clumsy turn, stop again because I eneded up on a rock that was clearly visible but I didn't notice it because my mind is only at the current moment... See what I mean? It's the same way you drive your car: your mind is not in the spot right beneath your car, but you are already aware of a lady and her dog 50 meters away, a kid on a bicycle 100 meters away, other cars, the next turn... This is the same. It's also good for piste, especially when pistes are really crowded, but this little tip will improve your fun at freeriding, your skills, the beauty of your lines, and also your safety. Because this tip is more and more necessary the more technical the line/spot is. Sorry for my broken english.
Super nice channel. I suscribed immediately. One can struggle to get back up once having fallen in the powder. Maybe a short tutorial on this topic would be relevant. Thank you.
Hi Charles, a big thank you for subscription. Stoked you like the channel. Great suggestion on content. Always a tricky one getting up in powder. Try and create a solid platform to then be in a strong position above the board to stand up.

The only tips is “find powder in my place” 😢
