A problem that is easy to deal with. They can surround a stereo with an electirc fence that will blast noise to attract the critters, and once those comes into contact with the fence then zap. Or they can create those chambers with little entrance similar to those traps that animals can get in but can't get out, attract the monsters with noise then once they are trap inside, unleash poisonous gas inside.

It’s possible that this could be ok. Those news rooms are usually in the middle of a building with good sound proofing, so the mics don’t pick up random noises from outside. So between all the layers it was probably safe. It seems like as long as there are louder things they don’t care much, and even the genteel bleed of noise that might make it out would be more quiet than the rest of the world.
I have now seen possible futures where talking is banned, sleeping is banned, singing is banned.......Next , someone should make one where pooping is banned!!🤣🤣😂😂
So why not just set up a bunch of fire bombs, put a speaker near the bombs and play music then kaboom. Rinse and repeat. Same with Quiet Place. Seems easy to set traps if they have such a perfect bait.
If you apply logic to movies most of them can't happen, these prehistoric creatures getting killed by wood chippers wouldn't be able to wipe out humanity unless there are an infinite number of them. They wouldn't even be able to survive for so long underground, what did they eat to survive. Did they cannibalize themselves for millions of years, if so then how come there are so many of them.
