      You’re welcome. Took the car to Baltimore this Thanksgiving weekend which was 3 hour trip. Was a nice ride, especially for the passengers who commented so, very smooth with the 20” wheels and VW Atlas suspension. Only area which is probably down to me practicing more, is movement of 2nd row seat to access 3rd row. It seems to not lock down each time. I will continue to get used to way it needs to happen though and report back soon.

      @@hipsterium- thank you! We are replacing a 2018 Atlas with this 2019, and have had child seats installed in the 2nd row. You might be getting the issue where the bench wants to slide back to knees of the 3rd row passengers. There is a certain way of using the latch at the top of the seat to open so that when it is returned back to its normal position, it stays where you've moved the seat forward if needed, instead of as far back as the seat track permits. It just takes time getting used to it.

    Just bought a 2018 SE with technology. Has 15,350 miles on it. We grabbed the extended warranty bumper to bumper 8 year or 120,000. Whichever come first. We absolutely love it coming from a 2020 Tiguan SEL!!! MUCH bigger for my pregnant wife and 10 month old.

      i have the SEL premium and you cant turn it off permanently, it requires you to push a button to disable it each time you start the vehicle. some say that you could override it, but i'm not sure if that is true. it is an annoyance, but its not bad, i remember to turn it off after the first time it turns off at a stop light.

      Just returned from a 3000 mile trip last week. We went on a road trip through Canada. We didn’t have any issues at all with the car. We loved the space especially with 2 kids - an 11 year old, the other 14 yr old. So what we absolutely loved was the space. Perfect for our needs. Kids had plenty of room in 2nd row. They loved having charging ports for each of their iPads etc. We folded 3rd row so PLENTY of space for luggage (more than we needed). When at destinations we loved having the 3rd row to transport our friends and family all in one go (leaving our luggage behind). I used a lot the Driver Assist and adaptive cruise control, helping me stay with lane while automatically making adjustments to direction and speed based on car in front accordingly. My wife who drove parts of the way has been very skeptical of this tech in the past, but she found it useful too on this trip (although she is still skeptical a little). I wish it would let you ride a little longer with lane assist before asking you to take over steering - I understand the logic behind taking over steering - but I just feel it could be extended by 15 to 30 secs more. We loved the entertainment system with Apple Play. We used Spotify all the time (especially since we signed up for the Premium service - fee for 30 days - or have to listen through the ads). Always felt sturdy and safe. So all in all, I’m really happy with the purchase. It’s now 1 year since I bought the car. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier.

    Love the design, I hate the cheap cheap plastics inside and I am also not crazy about the two underpowered yet not fuel efficient engines, somehow Hyundai turned into VW and VW turned into Hyundai, funny stuff the car world

    • @kennybubash3278

      I’ve been in Hyundai and Kia products and they are loaded with cheap plastic all over the interior. Name me a few manufacturers and specific model that don’t have plastic in this price range ??? I own a 2019 Atlas with a V6 and it has plenty of acceleration from start to merging onto the highway. My Atlas has 77k on it now and it has been performing spectacularly !

    That’s the Se R-Line not Sel R-Line, there is no SEL R-Line

    • @hipsterium
      @hipsterium  5 лет назад +1

      I can assure that there is SEL with R-Line which is the car we have. There is also an SE with R-Line. A good source to see the differences can be found on the VW website which shows each model within the Atlas range. Hope this helps.
