  • Considering a scalp micropigmentation treatment over a hair transplant or chemical therapy such as rogaine or finasteride may be the best option for you but you have to make sure that the artist you go to is top notch!

Your work is phenomenal,I commend you.I had a transplant that gave me very thin hair up front but nothing in the back...I would like to get my hair a little darker with a very very subtle SMP...I have seen your videos after just one procedure which I think would be ideal for me.Is one procedure something i could get to help give the appearance of a little more density and If I decided to shave everything off? I just think for myself, one procedure would be perfect...Thank you

Fyi, the reason one of your very popular youtube competitors gave for using a 3 needle is because it offers a bit more resistance, which keeps the needle from penetrating too deeply.

It sounds to me that using the three needle requires less skill and allows the artist to go faster based on what you just mentioned. You can also see a clear difference between how thick the three needle is compared to the single needle. Common sense would tell me that whichever artist gave you this information is not as skilled and wants to get the job done quicker (based on the information they gave you).

I take anything any "smp artist" says with a grain of salt, at the end of the day it's a sales job also and they'll make anything sound good. You have to keep in mind that 1 client is worth thousands to them.

@@groc4234 100% true. I personally have gotten my work done at scalplogic so I can vouch that every single thing that they've touched on in their videos and about their work is 100% accurate. They have done an incredible job.

Actually, the artist is very well known, got into it near the same time as Joe, and I think it's possible he was even a student of Joe's early on. Joe knows who he is for sure. The guy does nice work, or at least it appears so on youtube, but yes, using a three needle probably saves a lot of time. @@JoeyBeeFit

@@ayokay123 I would certainly agree that whoever the artist is (probably Johnathan) is well known but their reputation is better than the work they do. Many artists in this industry seem to have a great rep but their work is quite mediocre.
