Hi! Yes, that does make sense. Of course, every case is different. Without seeing the scar, there are situations that do allow you to grow your hair longer than just the fresh shave and still maintain a good covered look. Also noteworthy, getting a scar lasered to make the scar lessen and/or better at retaining the ink is always a great option before getting smp coverage.

Yes it does. For some people it may take a little longer, but always comes back.

It definitely hurts, but I maintain it hurts more not having it, or worse having an inky or botched treatment hurts the most. But that pain is top tier.

Wait time between sessions will vary based on skin health and overall situation, but average minimum wait time is 1-2 weeks. Average sessions guys need is 2-4 sessions. The most common is 3 sessions.

You’re not wrong. I have to use a Panasonic one blade in addition to the flat Wahl foil shaver to get all the hard to reach hairs.

No. Every few months, the foil attachment needs replacing. If someone let that go and continued to use a worn out or ripped attachment that could damage the skin.

Most cases the redness clears away after a few days. Could subside as fast as a day or two, and in some cases the redness could last a week or more. I know that’s not clear, but each case will vary. This was filmed a couple days after laser treatment. Get it removed! It will free you, that’s my opinion. Best of luck 🙏

I did have it removed, and immediately (3-4 weeks after removal) got a new undetectable treatment :)

Assuming the artist is going the necessary and precise depth, there are many reasons why someone’s skin rejects or isn’t prepared to retain the ink properly.

Hi! If the dots or impressions already look too big, that’s there for life or until laser removed. Although there is a slight truth to ink settling and not being as dark, the idea that big dots will shrink is complete marketing bs.

This is custom and every case is different. We very rarely need more than 3 or 4 sessions. For 90% of guys, 2-4 sessions is enough.

No. In fact, it makes skins healthier and more youthful. It certainly can leave scaring on injury prone skin, or through having multiple laser sessions.

Of course! At that stage of hair loss it’s either smp (for the win) or just simply shave and accept.

Yes and no. Are we the only people capable of creating subtle smp results? No. Are we some of the few artists able and willing (much more labor and skill involved) to create results that will give the full body shaved look without anyone noticing there is ink on the head? Absolutely yes. Our aim is to help instill a standard in this industry so that men worldwide can have this look without having to worry about being the guy with ink on his head. On the online front, most everyone is showcasing immediately finished results, which hardly let a person understand what that particular result will truly look like everyday when a guy wakes up and looks in the mirror.

@scalp_logic Thanks for replying, totally on the fence about it. So many people online say that nobody has ever noticed; but people mostly say negative stuff behind people's backs, so they'd never really know. Just think it could make you more self-conscious than continuing to be bald.

Unfortunately, all forums online that give smp information are controlled by companies so the information is controlled, deleted, manicured to conveniently shed a light of positivity that isn’t necessarily the real truth. Ultimately, if you’re not convinced an artist or company can give you a truly undetectable, nearly flawless result, you’re better off waiting or not getting this done at all. Every week we get contacted from men all over US and Europe that feel insecure about their smp, (many gents from notable or most popular companies) and that hurts our hearts to witness. Foil shavers work great for our sublte smp. It may cut down too low for the results many other companies offer. To use a foil shaver, I would recommend using every 1-2 days. On my head (everyone is a bit different based on thickness of remaining hair) if I wait 3 or 4 days, I would need to get the hair lower with clippers in order for the foil to cut through.

Get it removed asap. Check with laser specialist, but normally 4-6 weeks after laser removal you can once again get smp.

@@scalp_logic I had the procedure done two weeks ago. The guy I saw has the picaway laser. It’s only the first coting , so it is very light. I was also wondering if it could be salvaged since it’s so sporadic is there anyway I could talk to you on the phone I tried to call you and I did leave a message. Thank you so much for your help. The skill to create smp is so different compared to body art tattoos. There are definitely “smp artists” that charge more than they should bc the industry demands it. We hope clients can see the difference in results, especially long term healed results. From my perspective, if a man wants to have an undetectable result that lasts that way long term, it will take serious experience, ability, and labor for an artist to create it. Of course you can pay $1-3k to get this treatment completed, but what will that look like on a daily basis???

There are many different levels of standards to be considered. We charge per session as it requires 4-6 hours for us to complete. We believe you get what you pay for here. $2-4k is an average for standard or regular smp or msp. If someone wants a higher standard, (who wouldn’t??) then the price may go up bc you’re paying for the artists experience, ability, and difficult labor.

Most FUE scars will hold smp for many years (maybe 5+) before it can start to fade or lighten. Of course, results can be permanent as well. Each person will hold the ink differently.
