I agree with what you said about being a soft natural with a classic essence. I meant to comment on this in the last video. I recently had a style consultation with House of Colour where I was typed as a Natural Classic. I knew going in I was a soft natural. Adding the essence element I believe helps you create the perfect wardrobe that suits you.
Yes the burgundy dress looks gorgeous on you! 🤩 Spaghetti straps seem to go either way for soft naturals, depending on the shape of the top part of the garment, I think. Seems like the crescent shape makes it look perfect, and like you said, the fact that it is constructed, makes it work. I have been thinking that sort of crescent shaped items in general seem to be good for soft naturals, like those crescent shaped cross body handbags. This is just a theory. Also, the burgundy number is just right for a wedding in the country w the earthy color and simple lines that look the just right amount of va va voom without upstaging the bride, lol. Bf is not wrong about the cute hot pink dress, but yes I think black would look probably better on you. Oh, and the fun tropical dress is a close second in my book. Love that one too! That was a fun vicarious shopping trip, thanks! 🥳
Thank you! I agree about the spaghetti straps here, sometimes they look so strange but the crescent shape does work. That's an interesting theory, am currently shopping for a little bag maybe will go crescent? Haha not wanting to upstage the bride or birthday person is something always in my brain and I think this is the dress. Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for the nice comment too!
I really liked the pink dress looks amazing with your eye color. And I think pastel colors like blue, purple and green would look amazing even if you have more contrast, because your eyes can pull that type of color. In my case is the same I am a winter but my eyes are green and i can pull of pastel colors because of them.
Hi Cantinho! Thank you for the nice comment. I like the pink dress too and am bringing it as backup lol. I think you and I have similar colouring, would be interested to know who you look to for inspiration when it comes to Winter makeup?
8:26 oooooh my god!!! I saw plenty of Videos from your channel now. And this is one of the best looks I‘ve ever seen on you. I absolutely loooove this dress and the colour on you. Pls enjoy your curves. A wider ribecage compliments curves. And you have beautiful arms and I love how this dress compliments your chest area. 🤗
Hi Lotti! Thank you for the kind words and nice feedback. I really love this dress too and think its for sure the one. Always trying to embrace the width and encouraging words like these make it way easier so thank you! Hope you enjoyed the video :)
Totally agree with a Kibbe Soft Natural with a Mcjimsey Classic essence. The maroon of the last dress is beautiful on you and suits your muted softer coloring. The style is also super flattering! Your boyfriends pick is a great dress on you. I like the open neckline (even though it's squared) and the cut is very flirty. The longer loose fabric of the sleeves is what really sells me on it for you though. It's got such a lovely drape and freedom to the sleeve that suits you so well. As a fellow Soft Natural I know how difficult it can be to find formal wear that works well. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for your feedback and im sorry it took so long to reply! I ended up sending that dress back but I think I might repurchase this summer because it did feel good to wear. Plus wedding season is yet again upon us and youre right, the struggle for formal wear is totally real!
The last dress fits you very well :) I like it the most. I think, naturals should keep to more „earthy“ colors, so this tends to go in the direction. Thank you for this video :)
I actually really like the square neckline! I think it mimics the expanse of the shoulders. I recently got a similar dress and I’d never bought a square neckline before, but this video gave me more confidence!
The last two dresses were so pretty. I would disagree that the spaghetti straps makes you look more broad. They really balance out width IMO, especially when they are far apart like in the last dress. 👍 Great dress choices!
Thank you Barbara! I think these spaghetti straps work too and they are totally changing my mind about straps in general. Thank you for the feedback and hope you enjoyed the video!
I would totally go with the dress at 5.24 with the Square neckline, that you ordered in black! I'm a SN too and noticed that these types of dresses/ blouses look flattering on Soft Naturals: These (Not too!) puffy sleeves cover our wider arms/shoulders and make them seem slimmer, also the flowing fit of the sleeves ja perfect for our type. At the same time they are making the chest a bit wider/ curvier and distract from the shoulders. Thank you so much for sharing your looks with us, I got tons of inspiration 😊
Thank you for this kind comment! Sorry I took so long to respond. You make some really really great points about the square neckline and ive found myself gravitating more to them since! Thanks again!
You look great in all of the ones you chose at home (and the 2 you got at the thrift store). Just a small tip, you might want to try a longer necklace with the spaghetti strap one. It will draw the eye vertically. Something that isn't too delicate, but the V of the necklace will break it, especially if it as some sparkling to it to catch the eye and then bring attention to the bust The pink dress is super cute, you could break up the wide square line with long-stranded vintage pearls. You could probably find some at the thrift or online. Again, it would break up the width and make the eye go up and down Don't knock your shoulders too much, think confident, strong and sexy. Also, as soft naturals we tend to have great legs, lovely arms and we can pull off an hour glass shape with the right clothes
I loved this comment and your other comment on my other video. Youre totally right about a longer necklace, I kept putting the choker on and couldnt figure out why it didnt work. Am trying more and more to embrace the width and be strong and proud of the shoulders and your comment helps so thank you! I hope you enjoyed the video :)
I need a cocktail or like "vegas" outfits for soft naturals for special events. I only find super underdressed ones or like we are going to brunch or church. You look great!
Thank you! Haha I feel similarly. Have you checked on Pinterest? I’ve found some really cool 70s disco era inspired SN night out looks on there. That’s a good idea for a video though! Thanks for watching!
Relaxing and helpful video! And in my opinion, you have such a romantic, beautiful decollage. My eyes are just drawn to it and the way your collar bones connect to your shoulders is so elegant and refined. The last dress looks model-esc on you. Respectfully, you should consider wearing spaghetti strap tops! P.S that pink dress looks like it was made for you! Makes your complexion really pop!
I subscribed I'm new you have a varied asmr channel, clothing seemed interesting to me that you have luck and growth with your channel greetings from Buenos Aires.
You look way better with spaghettistraps then with the wider arm things. You can have a halter with thicker straps and slightly wide straps. Boho is not you, your hair is too straight and your face is structured. Cleaner lines! I have wavy hair as a dramatic classic, so I wear more boho outfits when I dont want to out on makeup or fix my hair. So I often have the opposite problem, I need to tone down on the structure because of my hair, yet when I fix it I look so sharp and smart with more structured fits. But I never ever wear denim. It makes me look so wrong. As it almost looks dirty on me. Only super dark soft jeans. That looks so clean and works for my super straight body type.
Truthfully I struggle! I buy a lot of thrifted stuff and sometimes Aritizia works for me, often it doesn't lol. My dream brand is Sezane but shipping to Canada is wildly expensive, I also like Free People but sometimes they go a little too far over the edge in the boho department.
Oh my god, I am so in love with the dress @6:40. I assume that you don’t know where I can get it? I am a soft natural as well and that dress 100% fits my style- I am actually super sad I can’t buy it!
Oh no I am so sorry! haha I bought it last year at a value village in Niagara Falls. The brand says 'Love TM' and the size I have is 8. I'm sure that doesnt help but I hope it does!

oh that sounds so cool. Maybe I'll try to get typed locally somehow. Did they give you any celebrities with your style and essence?
I loved your boyfriend’s choice. The pink dress really made your eyes pop.
Thank you! Am bringing it as backup incase pms body goes awry on the day of haha hope you enjoyed the video!
Fitted her perfectly.
Gorgeous raspberry dress. Perfect choice! Don’t wear the choker. You look beautiful in it. 💗
Love that last dress, it so flattering! Can’t wait for another ASMR video, really look forward to yours!
Hi Ann, thanks for the nice comment! I was considering actually making a second channel for ASMR only just uncertain if theres a demand for that.
The last dress looks amazing on you
Thank you for saying so!
I would consider the fact that the longest dress is the one you chose. The longer lines is more SN from what I’ve found in my own study. Love it!
I agree with you-flutter sleeves are my favorite too!! perfect for soft natural. love the last dress on you❤️
Thank you for your feedback! I like it too! Hope you enjoyed the video!
so many of them looked great!! Burgundy one and pink one were definitely at the top tho!
Thank you for your feedback Loelli! Hope you enjoyed the video :)

Thank you Cynthia! Hope you enjoyed the video :)
I love the dress you selected - you look fabulous in it!

8:28 is a winner. It really enhances your beauty.
Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it! I think thats the one! Hope you enjoyed the video
What brand is the maroon dress? It’s so lovely! I think I am also a SN
The brand is called ‘Love TM’ and the size I have is an 8! Not sure if they have it still but they had it like two months ago still :)
Relaxing and helpful video! And in my opinion, you have such a romantic, beautiful decollage. Hi! I adore the pink dress. I know I'm commenting a year later, but wondering if you have a link or know the brand? Thank you for sharing this!!
Hi thanks for watching! It’s from Aritizia! I think they still have it but maybe not that color? You can definitely find it on posh mark :)
I subscribed I'm new you have a varied asmr channel, clothing seemed interesting to me that you have luck and growth with your channel greetings from Buenos Aires.
Oh man I wish I knew the brand of the drapey asymmetrical black dress
You look way better with spaghettistraps then with the wider arm things. You can have a halter with thicker straps and slightly wide straps. What brand is the last burgundy dress?!
The tag says ‘it’s Juliet’ I looked it up and it’s the Gianna Maroon MIDI Dress and it’s (currently on sale for 36 USD)
What are your favorite clothing brands to shop at as a soft natural?
