Hello, petite soft natural 56 yr. old here. I'm 5'2, 125lbs. The silhouette I find most flattering for me is high waist straight leg pants or pencil skirts paired with petite or cropped tops. I favor mono-chromatic looks, small patterns in paisley or plaid. I'm a soft Autumn and my color palette of choice is olive, brown, navy, denim and burgundy. An ivory top is very flattering on you as well as light blue. I thought the peplum sweater looked good but it did not work with the pants you had on, better suited with a long pencil skirt in denim or suede. I loved the color way of shacket on you, I would pair that with leggings and tall boots to change the silhouette. As a petite, I try to do outfits following a 1/3 to 2/3 ratio to get the best vertical line. I can wear tight and tucked on top and loose on the bottom or oversized top with leggings and boots. I'm all about casual comfort that looks polished and put together with minimal effort.
I love that you mentioned "function over fashion". I'm entering the era of life where I'm over buying trendy or "cute" clothes. I want to look nice and put together but I also want to be able to raise My hands over my head and not worry about busting seams or bend over and not have my whole but out or wear shoes that make my feet hurt, etc. I want to be cute, classy but FREE to move and BE!
12:26 on is where youve convinced me that you're a summer. Those summer colors made your skin look so delicate and shiny and helped me focus on your blue eyes, whereas the earlier black top was a bit too oppressive and took away from you. 😊❤
Hello! You could give a try bright colors! I see as your main characteristic in your features brightness.. I guess you are either bright winter or bright spring!
As far as I know bright spring sits next to bright winter. Vibrancy is the main characteristic of this palette instead of warmth. That's why a bright spring person can pull off bright winter colors too! But this is just my guess! 😊
It’s well worth getting a professional draping for color analysis. It will save you a lot of money in the long run. And by long I mean within the first year.
Thanks for the follow! It truly is a minefield! Unfortunately I had to delete the insta because I was honestly just spending countless hours scrolling. There's a couple really great SN accounts now though that do daily pics and outfit inspo. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
You’re doing the lords work as a fellow soft natural! Love your style and your tips and your whole vibe. Thank you for making this content!!! 💛
Thank you so much!
I'm a true summer and a soft natural so I'm super happy to see this video! Thanks for sharing!

Bright spring? She is definitely not warm toned.
