Hello. I am a follower of Jesus, and a dear Muslim friend shared this with me because I am so concerned about what is going on with Islamaphobia and the Syrian refugee crisis, especially after the attacks in Paris. I would like to say that there are many Christians who love our Muslim brothers and sisters and are praying for safety, freedom, and peace, here in the US and around the world. Thank you for this message, Dr. Qadhi.

+Camp Claflin I hope you in your prayers for imaginary 'persecuted muslims' in the US you don't forget the persecuted Christians in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan.
I doubt your dear muslims will remember them in theirs. Truth hurts

+Billy Bones True, many Christians get persecuted in some Muslim country but it is totally wrong and it is against the Qur'an. Many Muslims in US and UK and many "Christian" countries are facing persecution such as Stabing of women of who wear hijab (covering) and vandalization of mosques.

I and most of the people in the West do not care whether Israel exists or not. We also do not care particularly about the ramblings of a 7th century Arab folk hero.
What we do care about however, is being able to go out with our friends and loved ones without the fear of some religious brainwashed maniacs wanting to turn us into spagghetti mince.
If there is a God, is it one who wants us to fight over what book we do or don't read?

Muslims believe every word of the Quran is from Allah. So it cannot be reformed.
Also, it's almost impossible for a Muslim to be nuanced because their Imams, teachers and family members instruct them to defend Islam and Mohamed everywhere and everytime they hear any critism.
Religion is trance like mind control. Islam at this moment n time is the most fervent and most dangerous to all mankind, especially Muslims.

Dear Yasir Qadi, I hope you're reading this, inshallah.
I'm a brother living in Germany and I think I should add something to what you said:
From 2005 to 2012, Germany used to be the most islamophobic country in Europe, at least according to statistics. A survey from 2010 found out that Germany was the only country in Europe in which the majority of the people were against new mosques to be built. In 2009 Germany was even criticized by the EU for having a serious problem with Islamophobia and doing nothing against it. 2/3 of all Germans believed that Islam is a dangerous idelogy that is about to take over the country in a few decades (because of conversions to Islam, the higher fertility rate among muslims, immigration, the low fertility rate among non-muslims etc.). But in 2012, Christian Wulff became the new president of Germany. In his presidental speech he said, that Christianity and Judaism belong to Germany, and this is something no one has a doubt about. He added: "Ladies and gentlemen, Islam now also belongs to Germany." This was when an era began that led Islamophobia to decrease, alhamdulillah.
times have really changed. I see it by myself. When I go out with my traditional (Afghan) clothes, people seem to be even more kind to me and Germans are doing the best to help changing this racist trend. Recent studies from 2014/2015 now found out, that indeed the percentage of people having a bad image of Islam, went down, alhamdulillah. I think, people are more and more realizing that their prejudices are false and there is a trend toward fighting Islamophobia not just in Germany, but all over the world, even in India, Australia or Russia. I think, there is much hope, inshallah.

it's amazing how he glosses over 130 people being massacred in Paris in 2015., as if it didn't really need to be adressed, he only cares how is affects the muslims. Fast-forward a few years and he'll be wringing his hands over the Christchurch massacre, reading the names and descriptions of the victims. I guess non-muslims don't get that respect from dr. qadhi.

He cannot admit than some people just don't believe anymore that the quran is the world of god, nor that islam is the true religion. My tunisian friend is ex-muslim and is now rejected by his own family, has been expulsed from his home and has no more financial nor family support. For some, leaving islam require a lot of courage.

I am not here to comment on those people like you who speak about hate simply because they are ignorant whether they are muslims or non-mulsim. But, I know that even animals have natural freedom of speech by making noises. God created human being with brain to think and we should think before we express our opinion unless what is written by some is an expression of hatred expressions. You should respect the freedom of others as well if you want to enjoy your freedom. In every society there are bad and good people regardless of their race, religion and gender. For those who can think positively and logically, you should blame individuals who misused the religion for their political gain, not the religion. If you enjoy insulting islam, go ahead until you get tired. Freedom of speech does not mean hate propaganda against minorities or innocents. To begin with why you insult the religion without knowing anything about the religion?. For your information, Dr. Yasir is not a person who only read Quran and Hadith. but he was engineer and he is a professor. He is not an ignorant person whether it is about secular and modern civilization or the religion.Secondly, Dr. Yasir is not interested in running for president. Actually, the person who posted "Yasir Qadhi for president ?" did so just for fun. But, that type of fun is wrong fun as his presentation was about Islamophobia a serious issue that is threatening muslims because of the action of some criminal individuals who killed civilians in Paris whether the motive of the killings was a revenge or not. Like any peace loving Muslims, I condemn any killings of innocent people without any justification regardless of their religion. I am sure that open minded human beings also condemn any kind of killings of innocent people regardless of their religious background. But, sadly, innocent people are being killed by criminals in the country that call itself the mother of democracy and free speech more than anywhere else. Have you ever pondered on how many people are killed every year in USA by gun related violence? .

    • @human5055
      @human5055 9 лет назад

+J ybro I am an Atheist and I want to consider the following 4 points and please
be truth to self and really ponder on it:
      1) Why are there, and were so many different (tribal gods of africa,
greeks, hindus, christains etc) religions, if there is one God? The 3
great religions of middle east are very similar regarding what happens
after death. But are different to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. On the
other hand these 3 religions from Indian Subcontinent are again similar
to each other. Is possible that it is the geographical distance between
them that created the difference and the similarity, in other words the
religions created by people living in the same region are similar to
each other because people created them.
      2) Let us say that you have to lecture a group on some topic. one way is
(lets call it the way1), you directly speak to this group. And way2 is,
that you privately explain one person in this group the lecture and
then ask this person to lecture the group. I think you would agree that
more information will be gotten by the group with way1. Yet God, the one
who has the power to create the whole universe, the billions of stars,
and the different life forms etc always choses a prophet or a saint and
tell him alone His message and then asks the prophet or saint to spread
the message. Why does not God just whisper in every persons ears His
message and then there will be no confusion and no killing between
Muslims and Christians and Hindus etc
      3) People who are born into a "wrong" religion (I mean to a Muslim all
other religions must be wrong isn't it) what happens to them at the end.
      4) I always tell the story that. Lets say there is a world in the past.
Strong people hurt the weak and take their belongings away. So one day a
weak guy says"if you do that again a friend of mine God, who is all
powerful, who can see everything and hear your thoughts will kill you".
The strong guy believes this and stops his bad behaviour. But later he
tries again and realises that nothing bad is happening to him. So now
the weak guy says "yes in this life nothing bad seems to be happening to
you, but once you die there is a special place were you will be
tortured for ever". This way one could attain some form of order and
justice in a society. So isn't it possible that God was invented to
bring order in the ancient times.
I hope you ponder on these questions

Indeed, while Muslims are a minority, it is always "Victim, Victim, Victim, Victim". They demand all their rights as a minority, however when they gain a majority, and the roles are reversed, the Dhimmi's have no rights and are soon forced to convert or leave or are killed alright.
I never advocate violence, however a complete halt on Muslim immigration is absolutely mandatory. The mass migration has nothing to do with the war in Syria. How is it that every single migrant is a Muslim ? Not a single Christian among them ? Furthermore, why have the gulf countries not accepted a single migrant ? Saudi Arabia - Zero. Qatar - Zero, Oman - Zero etc. Charity should start at home right ? Muslims helping Muslims correct ? This migration is about colonization. Should be obvious to everyone.

    • @XaeeD
      @XaeeD 9 лет назад +2

+J London (Abraxas79) I live in the Netherlands and in recent months I have seen an increase of Syrian refugees come to the store I work at, to buy second hand furniture and clothes. And I talk to them. Not all of them are muslims. You are misinformed. To think that the migration waves have nothing to do with the Syrian war is probably the most ignorant thing I've heard all day. Like I said, I talk to these people. Their houses were destroyed, their streets reduced to dusty wastelands, family-members lost or killed: they had to flee and come here.
      "Charity should start at home?"
No, that's not the definition of being charitable. If you had two black families living next door, one right next to you, and the other family next to them (and assuming you're white), then the neighbours of your neighbours' house burns down, and they come knocking on your door in the middle of the night; would you turn them away and complain that they need to first try the house with the other black family? Serious question. Yes or no? Would you shut the door in their faces and tell them to seek help from the black family first? If you say "no", then stop talking about charity and muslims this and muslims that. If you say "yes", then you're an immoral human being. This exposes your character. The question is a reflection of your statements and your twisted thought proces. It is not coined to manipulate you or trap you. You set the trap yourself. No matter how you answer it, you will either be in the wrong or be a hypocrite. This should tell you something about the state you're in. Spare me your hatred and insults, you should recognize it when you are being wrong. You may be right about the details, but that doesn't mean that you now can become an unjust, immoral human being. By doing so, you lose all credibility and any moral highground you think you had.

    • @Vedioviswritingservice
      @Vedioviswritingservice 9 лет назад +2

+XaeeD I would not turn anyone away. All of us our God's creation, equal in the eyes of God. When I stated that Charity begins at home, what I meant is that the Muslim countries should be the first ones to offer their aid, and they are not doing that. In fact Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey are fueling conflict with arms and finance.

    • @XaeeD
      @XaeeD 9 лет назад

+J London (Abraxas79) "I would not turn anyone away"
Ok that's very noble of you, but you also said this: "a complete halt on Muslim immigration is absolutely mandatory", which is why a asked you the question. Because here'you are in fact urging to turn down people in need of help, and to prevent them from coming in. Sorta like slamming the door in that hypothetical family's face. You see how these statements are a bit contradictory?
"All of us our God's creation, equal in the eyes of God."
Well, we're equal "in the eyes of God", if you will, in the context of us all being His creation, sure. But what does that mean? The devil is a creation of God as well. A rock is also created, does that mean a human is equal to a rock? Everything that is not the Creator is by definition a creation, so what? Just stating that two beings are equal is terms of being created doesn't really mean anything. Especially if you want to stop refugees from entering non-muslim lands, what do you mean then with the saying that all of us are equal in the eyes of God? Just wondering. "When I stated that Charity begins at home, what I meant is that the Muslim countries should be the first ones to offer their aid, and they are not doing that."
Yeah, sure, I can appreciate that argument. But what I don't get is what follows. Because what you're saying is that the black family next door should provide shelter to their black neighbours, who's house just burned down. But by saying that muslim refugees should by halted at non-islamic countries' borders, is like saying that you would shut the door in that family's face and argue with them that the other black family should welcome them in first. Though perhaps being correct in saying that those neighbours should've let them in first, you yourself then become immoral in a way by not wanting to take them in yourself. This is a form of hypocricy, is it not? "He should do this if he's a moral human being! But I'm not going to do that thing that I just used as a criteria for the other guy's moral character." Come on man, I know you understand the error here.
"In fact Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey are fueling conflict with arms and finance."
Yes, probably true. Does that mean that you can now stop showing outstanding moral behaviour? Besides, it's highly likely that the Western world is also heavily involved in the entire Iraq/Syria war-theatre. I think it's easy to observe injustice and wrong behaviour, and to then use that as an excuse for ourselves to become unjust and immoral. I think we should recognize the wrongs around us, yes, but I also believe that we should strive to maintain our own integrity in the face of it all. One can not claim any moral high ground while being immoral and unjust himself, it really is that simple.

JOURNEY INTO SKY ( also called MERAAJ ):
A message to muslim brothers and sisters:
In the Zoroastrian holy book "Arda Viraf Namag", written during the reign of Sassanid king Ardashir Babagan (226-240 AD), the Zoroastrian priest Arda Viraf described his journey into sky to meet his deity, Ahura Mazda. Accompanied by an archangel, Bahman, he journeyed through different levels of heavens and hells and crossed chinvat-bridge ( the sirat ) before finally reaching his deity sitting on the throne in 7th heaven.
Few hundred years later, in 7th century AD., Muhammad ibn Abdullah of arabia claimed in sura al-isra 17:01, and sura an-najam 53:8-14, to have made the similar journey into sky on a white horse to meet his deity, Allah. He too was accompanied by an archangel, Gabriel. He too journeyed through different levels of heavens and hells and crossed the chinvat-bridge ( the sirat ) before finally reaching his deity sitting on the throne in 7th heaven.
Muhammad copied the story from Zoroastrian book and made few changes in the story. He changed the angel’s name from Bahman to Gabriel, changed the name of the bridge from chinvat to sirat, added the white horse and his encounter with the so called other prophets to embellish the story and make it look different.
The book "Arda Viraf Namag", is one of the tenets of Zoroastrian faith. The book is available on amazon.com, and in every Zoroastrian temple around the globe. Please do your own research with an open mind. Don’t be scared. You will find the truth and the truth will set you free as it did to me.
Zulfiqar tareen, a friend of all, enemy of none.

If you are oppressed, the sunnah of our Nabee صلى الله عليه وسلم is to move and the earth of Allah is waase' (wide, vast). talking about how to rectify of our souls and aqeedah Is WHAT SORTS OUT PORBLEMS. the sahabah focused on their ibadah with Allah asked for his aid hence they received aid and Allah is pleased with them. if we rectify our relationship with Allah, our relationship with the rest of mankind will be rectified and good. islam does not command us to do anything except justice and kindness.

In light of the Charlie Hebdo attack, the Paris attack and the San Bernardino attack the word Islamophobia has no meaning. It is not phobic to be wary of Muslims who walk among us who secretly hate us.
If Islam is to be respected, Islam must police itself and eradicate radicalism from all Mosque.
He complains about the effects of the Paris attacks on Muslims, but he doesn't spend much time condemning the animals that perpetrated the attacks or much compassion on the people who were killed maimed or lost family members. It is this lack of compassion and anger at evil that tells me I should not trust this guy. He is only interested in his own and not in the lives of others.

There is no such thing as Islamaphobia. That would mean to have an irrational fear of an idea.
There is such a thing as anti-Muslim. That would be bad feeling towards a person. People should NOT be anti-Muslim.
Let's get rid of this Islamaphobia nonsense so the religion can be discussed and scrutinised without being tagged with a nonsensical name.

One thing I dont agree with is when he said "There is the element of what do we do as muslims who believe in Allah, and what do we do as Americans who want to protect our freedom"
Ya sheikh, the strife of the muslims are not bounded by the limitations of geographical boundaries and remember that when you chose to put up this video, you chose to speak with not only American muslims, But muslims across the world. IT shouldnt be as americans who want to protect their freedom, but rather as global citizens conscious of our geo-political disadvantages as a result of whats happened.

Sorry for my ignorance because I don't know enough about Muslim culture but all I see in the world from the Philippines to Boko Haram from 911 to the Paris bombings is brutal violence. And I have spoken to some Muslims and they say it's Israel. Now how is this any different than how the Nazis acted and blamed? And ask any Muslim about Palestine violence they will say it's self defence. I want to open my heart but my mind doesn't let me.

Salam Mr. Abu 'Afak. Brother, i understand that maybe you wouldn't have left the religion if there was another variation of Islam available that suits your lifestyle but you are missing the point here. Religion is not created by one of us, its created by Allah and preached through our Prophet. Religion cannot be changed according to the whims of the society or to suit your lifestyle, we change to suit the religion that Allah created for us because in the end its us who need him and not the other way. May be you have faced a fitna that was too hard and you failed. I hope you will someday realize the truth and revert back. Peace. May Allah S.W bless you and your family.

Listen, I am not unsympathetic to the plight of Syrian refugees. I understand Syria has been destroyed, a country where Muslim, Christian, Druze etc use to be able to live side by side in peace. I understand too that Syria's destruction as is the case with Iraq, is in good measure the result of western powers, but that doesn't change the reality that Europe cannot possibly absorb these millions of migrants, nor the fact that none of the GCC countries with their enormous wealth are helping at all.

I don't think Donald Trump meant marginalizing Muslims in both cases, he just suggested that strict actions should be taken specially the refugees that are pouring in the many countries. He seems to be a quick draw kind of person and says things without making clear explanation. The more ridiculous statement was of Carson's claiming indirectly that ll Muslims are non patriotic.

There is NO such thing as Islamaphobia' - such a fatuous notion - a fear of what....? "Peace" and "surrender" to God!? Islam is not a religion in the generally accepted interpretation of the word. "The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power." According to Dr Zakir Naik the eminent Islamic scholar, 'Muhammad did not originate the word or the concept of Islam, it has 'been there for time immemorial...' Being a Muslim can, technically speaking, apply to anyone who 'surrenders to God' which can include all persons who believe themselves religious. Being Spiritual and acting in a spiritual manner is akin to surrendering to God but does not mean one is religious per se. Being religious does not necessarily confer spirituality upon a person. Much as Dr Qadhi's feels aggrieved about the perceived backlash to recent events that have been assigned to Muslims, surely his words here are deliberately inflammatory to induce victimhood?

+John Smith they dont "lick" like americans lick each other. the black rock is a rare piece from the times of Abraham peace be upon him. thats why its regarded special by muslims. its because the prophet touched it. we dont worship kaabah. its a place of unity amongst muslims. this way, race is totally evaded from the minds of believers, and discrimination is eliminated.

the direction of prayer is qibla, so that all muslims have one direction of prayer. its all organized. it doesnt have to do with worshipping kaabah or anything. its just a direction.
