😂😂😂 I WORK AT THE AXE THROWING PLACE LITERALLY ABOUT 150 FEET FROM THAT 1ST PIC YOU TOOK BY THE ARCH!! IM IN THAT EXACT SPOT DAILY. I'm also at the spot of the 2nd photo everywhere day. 😂
RMC Boss would be insane, could do a straight up titan track retrack with new trains. The biggest problem with the Boss is the trains. Screamin Eagle is still a pretty good woodie, and with American Thunder, they don't really need the 3rd woodie, but they do need it to be the iconic coaster that draws people to the park. I am thinking 2025 is ideal, but that means they already have a plan in motion. I am thinking something a bit more cookie cutter and cheaper, a single rail would be such a great fit for next coaster and RMC Boss around 2027.
I attended a coaster event celebrating The Boss grand opening and as our trainload exited Boss after our first ride a voice in the crowd said "this thing is sitting on prime ground where a great rollercoaster could get built." And people laughed, because Boss was horribly rough straight out of the gate.
Not too sure that it's worth it tbh. That plot of land could house something fairly significant. If six flags does it right, this park should get the investments needed to compete here in the Missouri market.
It's kinda funny how the RMC Boss rumors have been mulling about for around a decade now, with it (allegedly) set to happen before COVID killed the project. I'd love to know how many estimate treatments RMC has given six flags for it over the years, as I'd assume the project has been scoped out for a cost estimate multiple times by now. While I don't know the cost of what a conversion would be, I do know the Boss has to be expensive to keep operating and it seems to be getting in worse shape as the years get on. I feel like the Boss being RMC'd is the best shot this park has at any sort of major attraction for the forseeable future. The Boss's layout would make for a nice starting part for the RMC folks, that's for sure.
I wish six flags saint Louis would actually just take care of boss instead of RMC it, there is a GREAT wooden roller coaster under all that roughness, it's just up to the park to make sure it's still a great wooden roller coaster. RMC boss would be a good ride but I wish they would build a ground up RMC and properly maintain boss.
Great interview, gives me hope, six flags hasn’t been too good to this park for a long while,A RMC boss would give this park a stand out coaster it desperately needs, if not that ,A hyper like a Superman ride of steel but don’t see the hyper in the budget
Considering all the big money involved in rollercoaster youtubing, I understand why you feel I would need to lie about that lol. Bro, me and my kid do this together for FUN...what kind of Dad would I be if I was teaching her poor ethics by purporting a lie? But you're free to believe as you wish!
I’ve been all in on RMC Boss since 2018 patiently waiting for my dreams to come true. Doesn’t seem like 2024 will be the year since he said “ride package” but it looks to be possible in 2025 or 26!
He was so randomly specific to use the phrase 'ride package' that I keep racking my brain as to what fits that mold. But EVERYTHING is adding up for a 2025 RMC Boss. The capital investment budget has already been established for 200+ million for 24' AND 25'. Of course these things are always fluid and subject to change, but according to the shareholder call, the funding is already allocated and placed in the budget.
@@ClayPRC I think they're going to add a few small rides to the boss/rookie racer area for the 2024 season and cap it all off with RMC Boss in 2025. The plan with that area originally was to put catwomans whip where rookie racer is going and build a new DC area I think.
Six Flags St. Louis has lots of unused land, for expansion, plus what would happen if they took out Old Glory, and some of those outdated buildings like the chevy show building or use that as a dark ride.
That they do. I also feel like screamin eagle needs some TLC. It was running fairly slow during our entire visit. If they can sort out it's issues and get some floater and ejector airtime back, it would fill a current void.
I’ll be so mad if they RMC Boss. It’s my top coaster in the park, and it doesn’t need to be RMC’d. I’d rather see it get re-tracked and have an RMC raptor come to the park.
I discussed every option with him. From Ibox, titan, full wood retracking, and topper. Judging by his reaction to each one when mentioned, I'd GUESS they have only seriously considered either topper or Ibox. Although Ibox makes the most sense, I prefer topper and believe that it maintains the wooden feel.
If Six Flags St.louis RMC The Boss for the 2024 Season that will finally be the park standout roller coaster that they need to put the park back on the map and it will be the best Rmc that has ever been created
I've flipped flopped again on this though. They could easily top steel vengeance in nearly every category. IE: length, height, speed, etc. The boss is such a massive canvas to start with.
@@ClayPRCI doubt six flags would put in the money to top steel vengeance. They will likely spend as little as they can get away with. But who knows, maybe they'll surprise us.
In 2021 for the 50th anniversary of Six Flags st. Louis was planning on adding something big for the 50th anniversary and they already had everything planned and they were a week away from announcing it then covid 19 hit and the plans were put on hold this is coming from a higher up that I know
I have heard a similar story from a CF employee, but nobody seems to agree on what those plans actually were. Lol This park is beautiful and immaculately kept. It deserves a couple big investments.
I do as well. The ride is huge to begin with. Has the potential to open as the tallest, fastest, and longest...IF RMC adds additional track where the helix used to be. If they do it, they should do it right.
Rmc Boss would be horrible. How can you say you love the boss but also want it get rmcd? that makes no sense. Boss is perfect the way it is. Gravity Group pre cut track is the only correct option if there has to be changes. Rmc is terrible. There's also no way a general manager would tell you they are rmcing boss so stop making stupid stuff up.
I appreciate your passion, but his passion for making a world class attraction for his park, and the longevity of his career within the industry give me a great deal of faith that SOMETHING will be done to the Boss in the very near future. I wouldnt be against gravity group prefab/cut, but he is VERY well aware of the necessary ingredients to build a world class (top 10 coaster worldwide potential) TYPICALLY, it would take a 20+ million dollar budget to even be in the realm of world class...perhaps 30+ with current global inflation...HOWEVER, I estimated a 225ft, ~6000 sqft of track, even with inflation numbers could be done for under 15 mill. (I estimated 12 million based on similar sized projects, RMC adding additional supports for extended height and layout. You are entitled to your own beliefs, but I can only report on fact. And the fact is, if the decision were SOLELY up to the parks GM, then Boss would have been RMC'ed a few years ago... I do however; believe, that it has a better chance of receiving Topper than full fledged Ibox. (PLEASE NOT THAT THIS PART IS MY OPINION, NOT BASED IN FACT) I hope you subscribe, remain part of the community, and join us out at the park this year for a ride event! Hoping to do something @Six Flags St. Louis in August. Stay tuned.
@PRC2019 Rmc American Thunder is a much better option. Boss and Screamin Eagle are the only orginal layouts of Six Flags St Louis thrill coasters those two woodies need to stay. Plus, Boss is still their signature attraction. American Thunder is a clone and kinda redudent with Boss and Screagle. If any of their woodies should be rmcd it's American Thunder
I hope you become open minded to the idea... There is no better way to invest 12-15 million dollars than a ride package from RMC. No other 12-15 million dollar attraction would create the buzz and stir that RMC'ing the Boss would.
@PRC2019 no way. GhostRider Treatment is the way to go. Thoosies are the only ones who will actually like rmc Boss. Most people don't like being constantly slammed into uncomfortable restraints. Plus Boss has had a long line every time I've visited the park even with fast ops.

Great park! Hopefully you subscribed, and when we're back out that way, we'll announce it.
RMC boss needs to happen. Full RMC. Call it the final boss. Make it 200 ft so we get a hyper at the same time. Would be amazing.
I worked six flags st.louis this year. RMC boss was set in stone but covid happen
Would LOVE it if they RMCd The Boss. That would be a major upgrade to our SFSTL coaster lineup!
Then replace Boomerang and Ninja! 🙏🏻
