Fortunately an easy fix. Also...being that you likely installed it new, maintaining adjustments for the first few thousand miles is key. Stuff loosens up with initial use. Good luck with it.
In the chevrolet performance catalog, The Chevy SP383 shows that the block can only handle a maximum of 450HP. Why would anyone buy this if at any moment this block is like a ticking bomb. They should’ve make the it to handle 600HP to be safe. Very bad investment 😢
Was it properly installed? I am leaning toward this engine since I got the Holley sniper efi going on in my C10 currently running 350 sbc with the th350 transmission
Mine was a 1976 Gm 350 bored .60 over. I put it in a 1980 gmc short bed. I nicknamed the mustang killer. The 5.0 mustangs didn't know what got them 😅
I’ll take them all
My Blueprint Engines 383 leaks oil from multiple places, very disappointed.
Yes much better that the Chevy ZZ engines. They are a joke for the money.

I’ve read on several forums, of Blueprint engines leaking. Not what you want to hear
