Twin Towns (Ballybofey & Stranorlar, Co.Donegal) Festival Parade 1992

Memories.... Footage I recently found in my archive from the Twin Towns Festival Parade in 1992. Also includes shots of the Fun Fair and Helicopter Rides. The parade included Marching Bands, most of which no longer exist. Also on display was local businesses, youth groups and vintage tractors. The Main Street of Ballybofey has changed a bit since then. Take note of the hair styles, fashion and the cars of the time. See if you spot familiar faces younger than they are now. Enjoy! More interesting footage will be uploaded in due course. Lovely Video, thank you for sharing, as my memory reminds me, the two towns are close by, my bro bought a holiday home in mullaghmore, so when i came home i had to visit. Loved Saint Patricks band, Rathkeen, but why did or does all the southern marching bands want to be american style. If my memory recalls there is a fantastic couple of shops in ballybofey, You know where Mc Ilheneys is, well not them , the small butchers and the cake shop just beside there, in the car park, fantastic produce,
