مقطع جيد، واليك بعض الاضافات للفائدة. العراقيون يصفون الجو بإضافة كلمة "الدنيا" كالآتي: الدنيا شتا او الدنيا صيف، وكذلك مغيمة، مصحية، بوخة = وخمة، باردة، حارة، دافية. وعند اعتدال الجو، يقولون "الجو طيب او حلو او زين". عاشت إيدك!

I watch your videos, and LearnArabicWithMaha plus study some MSA and before I knew it I could understand if I was being talked about in the local Sooq/hanoot. Now we exchange words and I teach them a little Spanish every now and then :)

Thank you for the video... One question how can we say dry weather and dust storm?
Dry = الجو جافّ, dust storm = عاصفة ترابية or we use the noun by saying غبار
Suggestion: The background music is just getting in the way of listening. Please do not use it. Your lessons are inter sting enough without it.
Just a question: Do you use شرجی in Iraqi too? (it's the term used in Khuzestan, Iran for hot and humid weather)

What about the word الموسم, is it used in colloquial Arabic or particularly the Iraqi Dialect?
موسم means season

I know but I saw it many a times being used for weather. That's why I thought that I might consult a native speaker to clear the ambiguity.
@@muhammadumair6554 الموسم should indicate the type of weather in the time being, and other times is used by farmers and grocers to indicate to the crops/fruits/vegetables in relation to the season like: موسم البرتقال، موسم التمر، موسم البطيخ، موسم العنب

@@yousifwaleed6566 this word means "i just did this thing" pronounced like (Tawni) however, in my experience, this is used in dialects such as Jordanian, in iraqi it is slightly modified, so it becomes like "has-tawni=" هستوني". This word will be similar in meaning to just, for example, i just arrived, = هستوني اجيت، similar for the" توني". Hope this helps!
