That sometimes i had to jump on ppls heads to get to the counter now if you do an urgent quest you will probably only have on other person or your by yourself now

I am so glad I was able to experience base pso2 when it first released. kept me sane during the pandemic and was able to meet new friends along the way. now I just go to the base game from time to time to reminisce the good times I had.

Literally my story, I used to be in online classes while playing PSO2 the whole time with my camera off 😂😂😂Hearing that wedding theme in that first lobby daily everyday changed my LIFE!
The first time I played PSO2 was around 2013 or so, I remember very clearly the Halloween theme "Weird Night" playing and it's so deeply rooted to my outlook of the franchise as a whole. Before I really did anything substantial I spent an unnatural amount of time in the Casino playing Blackjack with friends on school nights, making threats at Nyau as he robbed us blind. Great times. The years that followed were me playing more and more, and as the JP translation came along I got attached to the game more too. NGS ain't the same. For the pros it gives, it has far too many cons to me. I miss Classic.
This really brings me back to when I first started ngs, and in extension base pso2. It's fun watching someone learn the game for the 1st time and I'm looking forward for more of this content! "This rappy is ugly" is this so funny and true to what my reaction was 🤣
The Photon Dash before Photon Dash lol I'm pretty sure all of those traversal PAs are faster than Photon Dash too. PD also most likely came from one of Phantom's Shift PAs
@@granvell619 It is more like the dash panels that exist in some quests (ex. tokyo/busters) and are usable by every class, so yeah photon dash already existed in ngs, you just couldn't use it at will. Mobility PAs were better because of that and being easier to control.
I found myself constantly using Rocket Rodeo Zero to fly over battle zones and just drop ordinance from above without touching the ground. The first red flag for NGS in my opinion was when those mobility PAs were axed. Killed a lot of my buzz for the game.
As pso base end game player who achieved everything and got nothing to do except cradles, I always hope that there are newbies who ask for my help to carry out quests, but newbies these days just want to be Kirito,sad... ☹️

Partially false. There is a skill in the skill tree, which is a free-point that you get at level 10. He has his subclass (Hunter) at level 56 so it's possible he might have taken the skill, but it's also possible he might have never even looked at the skill tree for Hunter at all.

Found another ship 4 content creator! Subbed. Also, I do not really play base pso2 now, cuz most of us in ship 4 plays NGS. Content in base is difficult solo. I know this cuz I got my ass handed to me back when I started pso2 and went to complete missions alone.
@@Wortlethal Ships are basically servers in PSO2. Each server has their own player base, market, etc. There's no cross ship interaction. Like, you cannot play with your friend who's on Ship 3 if you're on any other ship. To play with them you'll need to have a ship 3 character, basically a fresh character.

It’s always a stellar fact that Sega has never negatively altered the thrill of base PSO2, but at the same time, because ngs is greatly improving over time, more players are enjoying their time together in that block and Base pso2 seems to become emptier and emptier every month until hardly any players are even seen in the lobby.
They have changed things that gave people reasons to login every day though. And being able to get free shop passes was part of the fun too. When RNG finally gave you one and you finally had good gear to sell felt big.

Well, I only played Oracle PSO2 back near the end of 2020 and January 2021 (for like 15 days before forgetting I had the game installed on my Xbox One) and I'm having fun, as I pretty much done for now in New Genesis and decided to experience Oracle like I SHOULD have done way much earlier and one of the 1st thing I did was the Episode 6 Armada Urgent Quest after some expeditions and sub-quest and despite being very underleveled got a blast.
Though it'll be easy from killing rappy and monkey to fighting Phoenixmon and Metalgarurumon lol. Yea for real Base Pso2 really don't hold your hands when it comes to getting information how to level and etc. It was fun to watch you play Base without any knowledge other than Story.
You guys gotta play with the other players. Playing solo is complicated,until you have mastered building your character,armor,and weapons. The skill rings also help too,but they're HELL to raise to +20. And then,the trigger quests. Man...I wish you guys lots of patience and strength on Base game. I'm on Ship 4 btw. Tarvis.
You really can't just jump into quests and smash buttons mindlessly and hope the enemies die in base pso2 unless you have a group with you or you have high level gears and the enemies are lower level than you. Base and ngs are totally different games, you really can't do one with the others knowledge. Some tips : (Tip: 1. Talk to equipment officer prin npc, she has legendary weapon collection folder. You can get entry level 15* weapons from them. Just accept the collection folders, folders have a meter that fills as you do quests, after the meter is filled you'll get the 15* weapon. Get the Millionaire or Croesus they are not bad. 2. At early levels do the client quests, it gives decent exp. you can take multiple quest at the same time. As you do quests you'll get EX CUBES, RISING WEAPON BADGES AND WEAPON DROPS. You can turn the weapons into EX CUBES. EX CUBES can be sold for meseta, and crafting gears. And you can buy weapons, units, augments/affixes and S class augments using the RISING WEAPON BADGES from npc shop. 3.You can get 500k EXP TICKETS with CLASS EX CUBES from the limited class ex cube exchange shop. don't know if it's still there or not, it was best to take you upto lv 55+ and from there just do the exp boosted Recommended quests just like the last quest you did on this video, boss rush ). There are a few ways to get class ex cubes just search on ytube. PS> I don't know of the availability of the above mentioned stuff right now. Some things may have changed post pso2ngs or not, you have to check them out. >>> If the classes feel clunky/slow and gameplay feels bad do the following : 1. Set up the skill tree, find a build guide and set the skill tree up if u dont know how the skill tree works. Without setting up the skill tree even if you are at max level the classes will feel clunky and slow and feels like not smooth. This is the most important thing you should do if you are trying out classes in base pso2 btw. 2. Find out all the weapons your class can use and try and see which weapon feels good to you and then learn all the skill discs of that weapon and try to get as high lv skill discs as possible. 3. Watch a video guide of your class and learn its mechanics, rotaions, combos, dodge and countering. Not every class has countering. 4. Bosses usually are very tough especially on higher difficulty so it would be better if you learn boss atk patterns as well. 5. Try to get decent gears becuz if your atk and def are below the threshold of the difficulty level you are doing you will do less dmg and take more dmg. > Base Pso2 content is tough but also satisfying and rewarding when you have learned your class and know what you are doing. >>The toughest content would be Area survey : remnants of other worlds , its a solo boss fight against Omega masquarade and it goes upto 999 stages. This boss 1 hit KO's you regardless of your gear so it's purely skill based. Watch a stage 999 of this boss fight on Ytube and ull see the skill level it takes to take on that boss. thx for reading.
Double Saber can in fact parry.. if you have the skill point 😆 There's also a gear upgrade for double sabers that makes their parry turn into a counter that goes WILD
I really hope they would consider to make a new Episode 7 featuring Schreger as the main antagonist, an ancient Demon Emperor of the universe itself. A much more powerful version of him than his Omega counterpart. Seriously, he kinda looks like the Rugal Bernstein from KOF version of PSO2. Lol
As much as I love Base PSO2, I'd rather them continue NGS and fix as much as they can to get the ball rolling. NGS has a good base, it just has no sustainable content at all, and the gameplay loop isn't very engaging. If they can fix all of that and put forth good ideas for content, it'll start surpassing OG PSO2 pretty quickly.
Nah man, they won’t be able to save NGS. In order for them to do that, they’d have to pull a Final Fantasy 14 Realm Reborn, pretty much destroy the current game and make it from the ground up again, Sega won’t do that. Problem with NGS is overall it’s boring, and no adding content to it will change that, it’s like putting gold on top of shit, it was shit before but now it’s golden shit. The biggest thing is NGS is a very bad clone of Legend of Zelda Breath of Wild instead of it trying to be a new unique game. The game is lost, all that hold NGS now are the men who role play as female weebs.

if u can play phantom ,it meant u have 2 class lv75 that u should have some basic skill play and basic intel so it offend me a bit ,but I'm glad to see content on base pso2. I start playing base pso2 before ngs launch 2 month so i can learn many things easily thanks to people at that times. I really like base because of story and side story I mean many characters have their own story [even if ep1 only] that u can interact with is more than 1 years ngs for now. ps. hope u have fun on base :)
There’s a lot of us that still only play pso2, and ignore NGS. For myself, as a phantom main, there’s nothing for me in NGS. Adding in classes and then not bringing them back is just as stupid as Monster Hunter adding in weapon types and then removing them in a next title….which they did once and lost their ass and learned from their mistakes lol.
I still play Base sometimes,and let me tell you. You're in for a hell of a struggle 🤣🤣. But it's still a lot of fun. With that Banzser fight,I believe if you get to Super Hard mode,you'll rarely fight the red one,or two of them at the same time. Also,they like to run up in the trees too. Ship 2 base is probably the most populated one. Most players are online at US prime time (don't ask which coast, i dunno) 2700 hours in global base so i know the place well. I'm totally not advertising or anything, cough.
I think it is better to play on Ship 2 just because of it's population. But geez, If u want to use a melee class, good luck! Prices are HUGE, especially if u want a Katana lol, at least i know what to farm if i want money :)
Im ded bro i liked basw mainly cuz luther i think that fight was honestly amazing but i tried to use luster and that class is a lot harder to use cuz im so used to dodging with gunners weapon action BUT i do wanna get into it again especially cuz i wanna make a vid for the new luster class cuz im hyped for it but GOT DANG there was a lot going on in base lol and now almost nothing happens in ngs 💀
I miss the good old episode 2 and 3 days where nav rappy can kill you in 1 or 2 hit and boss movement is crazy the only high damage you will see is 20 to 30k and the enemy hp is 100k lol and your fingers are automatically doing triple dash because of daily taco

As a New Player in the PSO2/NGS (didn't even knew the existence of this game before the launch on PS4), this is why i prefer the NGS over the classic, the classic is too complicated, not saying the classic is bad, but is kinda hard to understand things on it. NGS is more "intuitive", you know easily what you need to do and where you need to go to do it. PS: Sorry if my english is weird, english isn't my first language :)
Base has so many mechanics some of which requires you to have a master degree to understand(looking at base augmenting) But in a way because some stuff is overly complicated it makes people ask questions a lot more making the game feel more social
Don't call the normal Rappys ugly if there are waterhead chibi abominations all around that can be hated instead! these "Rappys" are the worst thing from the entire game! (including ngs)
You stand correctly on this, cos they have the technology to implement new combat tacts and try to rebake a few of the mechanics on the so-called, “New Genesis” to make the fights, as well as the dimensionality, feel a lot smoother but they take forever to update things It's just a sega thing Instead of argufying over what's better I'd say keep a more positive look at this new game since It may take an unexpected turn for the better but It will take time (Sega), cough.

I hate ngs cause every enemy has way to much health I get bored of staring at the same enemy's while base game has 8 year worth of enemy's so much art style from skeletons to dragons goblins HUMANS giant castles battle ships tanks helicopters to it as well while ngs is weird animal robots and blocks or a dead open world and most enemy's are redskins. Feels like overwatch 2 all over again

In base pso, there is always 1 skill that can let you cover a lot of ground in a short time

NGS brought over a bunch of quality of life improvements to te gameplay, tu I miss the variety of base enemies
As a new pso2 player (PS4) when I saw that I needed 2 classes needed to unlock unique classes I was also disappointed. But it was worth it.

You guys gotta play with the other players. Playing solo is complicated,until you have mastered building your character,armor,and weapons. The skill rings also help too,but they're HELL to raise to +20. And then,the trigger quests. Man...I wish you guys lots of patience and strength on Base game. I'm on Ship 4 btw. Tarvis.
You really can't just jump into quests and smash buttons mindlessly and hope the enemies die in base pso2 unless you have a group with you or you have high level gears and the enemies are lower level than you. Base and ngs are totally different games, you really can't do one with the others knowledge. Some tips :
(Tip:
1. Talk to equipment officer prin npc, she has legendary weapon collection folder. You can get entry level 15* weapons from them. Just accept the collection folders, folders have a meter that fills as you do quests, after the meter is filled you'll get the 15* weapon. Get the Millionaire or Croesus they are not bad.
2. At early levels do the client quests, it gives decent exp. you can take multiple quest at the same time. As you do quests you'll get EX CUBES, RISING WEAPON BADGES AND WEAPON DROPS. You can turn the weapons into EX CUBES. EX CUBES can be sold for meseta, and crafting gears. And you can buy weapons, units, augments/affixes and S class augments using the RISING WEAPON BADGES from npc shop.
3.You can get 500k EXP TICKETS with CLASS EX CUBES from the limited class ex cube exchange shop. don't know if it's still there or not, it was best to take you upto lv 55+ and from there just do the exp boosted Recommended quests just like the last quest you did on this video, boss rush ). There are a few ways to get class ex cubes just search on ytube.
PS> I don't know of the availability of the above mentioned stuff right now. Some things may have changed post pso2ngs or not, you have to check them out.
>>> If the classes feel clunky/slow and gameplay feels bad do the following :
1. Set up the skill tree, find a build guide and set the skill tree up if u dont know how the skill tree works. Without setting up the skill tree even if you are at max level the classes will feel clunky and slow and feels like not smooth. This is the most important thing you should do if you are trying out classes in base pso2 btw.
2. Find out all the weapons your class can use and try and see which weapon feels good to you and then learn all the skill discs of that weapon and try to get as high lv skill discs as possible.
3. Watch a video guide of your class and learn its mechanics, rotaions, combos, dodge and countering. Not every class has countering.
4. Bosses usually are very tough especially on higher difficulty so it would be better if you learn boss atk patterns as well.
5. Try to get decent gears becuz if your atk and def are below the threshold of the difficulty level you are doing you will do less dmg and take more dmg.
> Base Pso2 content is tough but also satisfying and rewarding when you have learned your class and know what you are doing.
>>The toughest content would be Area survey : remnants of other worlds , its a solo boss fight against Omega masquarade and it goes upto 999 stages. This boss 1 hit KO's you regardless of your gear so it's purely skill based. Watch a stage 999 of this boss fight on Ytube and ull see the skill level it takes to take on that boss. thx for reading.
Double Saber can in fact parry.. if you have the skill point 😆
There's also a gear upgrade for double sabers that makes their parry turn into a counter that goes WILD

I really hope they would consider to make a new Episode 7 featuring Schreger as the main antagonist, an ancient Demon Emperor of the universe itself. A much more powerful version of him than his Omega counterpart. Seriously, he kinda looks like the Rugal Bernstein from KOF version of PSO2. Lol
As much as I love Base PSO2, I'd rather them continue NGS and fix as much as they can to get the ball rolling. NGS has a good base, it just has no sustainable content at all, and the gameplay loop isn't very engaging. If they can fix all of that and put forth good ideas for content, it'll start surpassing OG PSO2 pretty quickly.
Nah man, they won’t be able to save NGS. In order for them to do that, they’d have to pull a Final Fantasy 14 Realm Reborn, pretty much destroy the current game and make it from the ground up again, Sega won’t do that. Problem with NGS is overall it’s boring, and no adding content to it will change that, it’s like putting gold on top of shit, it was shit before but now it’s golden shit. The biggest thing is NGS is a very bad clone of Legend of Zelda Breath of Wild instead of it trying to be a new unique game. The game is lost, all that hold NGS now are the men who role play as female weebs.

if u can play phantom ,it meant u have 2 class lv75 that u should have some basic skill play and basic intel so it offend me a bit ,but I'm glad to see content on base pso2. I start playing base pso2 before ngs launch 2 month so i can learn many things easily thanks to people at that times. I really like base because of story and side story I mean many characters have their own story [even if ep1 only] that u can interact with is more than 1 years ngs for now.

For myself, as a phantom main, there’s nothing for me in NGS.
Adding in classes and then not bringing them back is just as stupid as Monster Hunter adding in weapon types and then removing them in a next title….which they did once and lost their ass and learned from their mistakes lol.

I still play Base sometimes,and let me tell you. You're in for a hell of a struggle 🤣🤣. But it's still a lot of fun. With that Banzser fight,I believe if you get to Super Hard mode,you'll rarely fight the red one,or two of them at the same time. Also,they like to run up in the trees too. So......yeah.....Good luck with that.

Ship 2 base is probably the most populated one. Most players are online at US prime time (don't ask which coast, i dunno) 2700 hours in global base so i know the place well. I'm totally not advertising or anything, cough.
I think it is better to play on Ship 2 just because of it's population. But geez, If u want to use a melee class, good luck! Prices are HUGE, especially if u want a Katana lol, at least i know what to farm if i want money :)

Im ded bro i liked basw mainly cuz luther i think that fight was honestly amazing but i tried to use luster and that class is a lot harder to use cuz im so used to dodging with gunners weapon action BUT i do wanna get into it again especially cuz i wanna make a vid for the new luster class cuz im hyped for it but GOT DANG there was a lot going on in base lol and now almost nothing happens in ngs 💀

I miss the good old episode 2 and 3 days where nav rappy can kill you in 1 or 2 hit and boss movement is crazy the only high damage you will see is 20 to 30k and the enemy hp is 100k lol and your fingers are automatically doing triple dash because of daily taco

As a New Player in the PSO2/NGS (didn't even knew the existence of this game before the launch on PS4), this is why i prefer the NGS over the classic, the classic is too complicated, not saying the classic is bad, but is kinda hard to understand things on it. NGS is more "intuitive", you know easily what you need to do and where you need to go to do it.

Base has so many mechanics some of which requires you to have a master degree to understand(looking at base augmenting)
But in a way because some stuff is overly complicated it makes people ask questions a lot more making the game feel more social

Don't call the normal Rappys ugly if there are waterhead chibi abominations all around that can be hated instead! these "Rappys" are the worst thing from the entire game! (including ngs)
You stand correctly on this, cos they have the technology to implement new combat tacts and try to rebake a few of the mechanics on the so-called, “New Genesis” to make the fights, as well as the dimensionality, feel a lot smoother but they take forever to update things It's just a sega thing Instead of argufying over what's better I'd say keep a more positive look at this new game since It may take an unexpected turn for the better but It will take time (Sega), cough.
The Hub Alone in base game is way more Confussing than the whole of NGS😂😂😂😂

I hate ngs cause every enemy has way to much health I get bored of staring at the same enemy's while base game has 8 year worth of enemy's so much art style from skeletons to dragons goblins HUMANS giant castles battle ships tanks helicopters to it as well while ngs is weird animal robots and blocks or a dead open world and most enemy's are redskins. Feels like overwatch 2 all over again
