The dude on the very right at the beginning was the snare tech for my high school. Cody Haddock. We were lucky to be able to get him. He's one of the coolest people I've ever met. Lots of awesome stories about his SCV days. He's very talented too, as you can tell from the video.

Rennick was actually the snare tech at The Blue Devils in the 90s under Scott Johnson. The true influence in the snare technique is from Tom Float (who marched snare with Ralph Hardimon). Rennick was also at the Velvet Knights under Float. The approach is a West Coast one that was matured through the early 80s when Float was at Spirit. I was taught with this approach and teach it to all of my students who have & currently march at Spirit, SCV, Cadets, Southwind, Madison Scouts, MCM Indoor, a
