1st story: LOL, humans an invasive species. Humans become the galactic equivalent of Milky Way dandelions. 2nd story: LOL if only most species aggression lead to a pleasant ending like that.
Can’t remember which one it was, but there was another human are an invasive species story where we had entire drift fleets going around and stripping everything we came across for scrap. Like a bunch of meth muppets tearing the pipes and wiring out of a house.
i bet that in the first story, the issue they encountered testing the ftl drive is that they went into dark space without the observer realizing it ahahaha
