So yes, you're right. I love Coca Cola when it's very cold and I don't need ice at all. I don't let it sit around and get warm either. But, there's an aspect of Neville that most seem to miss but it's there even if it's buried in one of his metaphors and it is this: Living in the end of something that seems to not be here in its fully materialized form doesn't mean that it's not here in its not-yet-fully materialized form. Where is it? It's in your imagination. I don't like to use words like desire, want or need because they conjure something that's missing. Okay, on one level they appear to be missing but really, they're not. They already exist in your imagination. Neville said to live in the end picturing, having conversations and feeling the emotional state of the thing which hasn't yet materialized but you see it in your mind's eye and feel what it might be like for it to actually show up in your life. I call this a preference. Preferences are sure things when you do what Neville said which is to live in the end of it as if it is here already ignoring your senses and ordinary reality (which is anything but, BTW). Here's the point of all this: Why did Neville invite listeners to "go into the silence" with him at the end of his talks? I've never heard much said about this. My sense about it is simple: When we go deep within into something akin to meditation and look, really look, into our hearts so to speak, what can we find there? We can find our genuine, no kidding, no bullshit, actual preferences, the things that define who we really are, what we'd prefer to really accomplish with our lives, how we'd like to really feel about what we prefer we'd be up to if we could have a more ideal life. What we won't find there are desires for more money, a bigger house, a fancier car, exotic vacations chasing young bimbos in bikinis. Authentic preferences are not about dopamine fixes; they are about discovering who we really are and what we might actually do with our lives that would make our short years here not a waste of time. Yes, God is being us through our imaginations. Let's imagine well and let's let the God in us loose upon the world just because we can, just because it would be fun and satisfying to do, just because we prefer to be good for goodness' sake.

This is a great metaphor. I 100% agree. That’s true to his work. Also, as a scientist, his approach seems way more tangible than a lot of the mysticism, sometimes overdone and other areas of law of assumption.
I do find that his work is lifelong and lifelong applicable. Meaning, it is about becoming throughout our whole life. Not just getting stuff.
    Thanks for this!

I like this video, once you truly pay attention to what Neville has to say, you will understand it. The story of Barbados is simple enough to understand after listening to it for a few times. Law of Attraction is just a capitalized way of Law of Assumption.

I just started reading Neville Goddard and believe me when I tell you that returning to the source - there's nothing like it. I like Abraham Hicks and Wayne Dyer but Goddard was a veritable genius!

Man, I couldn’t agree more. I was introduced to Neville by way of Joseph Alai in 2020. I was practicing Neville teachings before I’d heard of him. Joseph’s introduction was the conformation of what I’d been experiencing for years. Thank you for being here. 🙋🏽‍♂️♥️💯

Thanks bruv. Its interesting that you describe their teachings this way. Ive also listened to them as well, and i agree what they teach feels incomplete. Life isnt just about manifesting, thats a small component of the law, and a focus on that may lead to erroneous understanding. Personally, id like to know reality just as deeply as Neville did and so i will continue my study and practice until i do.
Thanks again for sharing your insight

I’ve been exploring the principles of the Law of Assumption and appreciate the emphasis on living in the end and maintaining the state of the wish fulfilled, irrespective of our current beliefs. This approach seems distinct from the Law of Attraction, which often highlights the importance of maintaining a positive mood or high vibration to manifest desires.
Could you clarify how the Law of Assumption views the role of our emotional state, specifically feeling good or maintaining a higher vibration, in the manifestation process? Is feeling good considered a prerequisite for successful manifestation in the Law of Assumption, or is it more about the conviction in the assumed reality?
Thank you for shedding light on this nuanced aspect. ❤

What's really crazy is all the "watered down people" you speak of are ALSO God. It's weird how God creates/dreams/imagines so many of these people with such small lives and perspectives. Why does the infinite source create so many of these lackluster people and experiences? Infinite time is the only thing that somewhat explains it to me. How many couches does God need to sit on, clicking through sports channels and drinking beer? How many different perspectives does God need to have plucking at a controller operating some video game? How many arguments over some inane topic? Infinite. Endless. Eternal.
I think back on my life and realize what I have created. I always wondered why the buildings had to be so boring and ugly. The endless sea of T-shirts and hoodies. Why must it all be so mundane? I spend time visualizing alternatives, yet my subconscious holds a tight grip on the status quo. Surely I will break through, I must!
