When I connected the 'movie file in' to the image_paths null I could not see anything but a black with little red rectangle on the right lower side. It did not visualise the image. What can it be?
for me it worked to have the folder with images saved at desktop. Or you can download his file (in description) and delete his images in his folder a put there your own
I was having trouble too, then I installed version 2022.25370 (same version Matt is using above) and put my images folder named 'images' in the folder with the .toe file and voila!
Hi! You can definitely use GIfs or a movie file! Just be careful around how big the file size is of the Gif, if you have too many instances with a big file size it can take your frame rate
@@mattross5779 Lo hice con GIF y me funciona bien, pero la transparencia del gif no se visualiza en el render final. Con que operador podría solucionarlo? SLDS
@@pataguan Hi! So you're gonna need to make sure that you have Blending Transparency turned on in your Material. Make sure you enable Discard Pixels Based on Alpha.
Hi Matt! Love your tutorials and have been following through a couple of them (including this one!) However, I'm having issues in the 'replicator setup'. I followed your expression but its coming up as a syntax error. Would really appreciate your help!
A mi me aparecía un error en el moviefile in en la búsqueda de imagen, pero llevé todo a un mismo nivel tanto de la carpeta junto al proyecto y se arregló todo.
Hi! What is the error you're getting! I would imagine it might be because the directory path on the MovieFileIn1 that is acting as the master operator might be referencing a different file path than mine.
@@mattross5779 I think so? I'll write is as it is: Error: (Parameter: File) SyntaxError: invalid syntax (/base1/moviefilein1) (TD mentions it should be inserted between (+) and (op) How would I fix it?
Super cool stuff thank you for sharing!
Your touch tutorials are my fav on youtube. Your kind of visual "taste" is right up my alley and really inspiring. Keep it up man!

mine keeps failing to load the movie files. Is this because I'm on the free version?

Great tutorial but when I set up the replicator setup, movie file in fails to open file. Does anybody know why? (I have the free version)
