It happens, tried picking up a trailer loaded with scrap metal but the person who dropped it off dropped it too low so the truck couldn't go underneath it. In trying to get underneath I dumped the airbags use boards between the trailer and the chassis of the semi refill the airbags in order to ease it off the ground and try to extend the landing gear in doing so I accidentally pushed the trailer off the metal plates and after coming from underneath it the landing gears sunk, there was no fuss about it because they know they should not use the 6 Wheeler semi to shift our trailers so they took on the responsibility
Well you learned a lesson today. It could have been much worse than it looks. Even if it looks solid and your not on concrete use some 4x4 or something to give the pads more area of contact..4x4 under the pads next time . Your smart you understand what you need the next time . I have seen them go down even on asphalt .
