    It's the zippo ones that claim to last 70 uses
    the peacocks can go for double that lol, actual platinum catalyst

    Well done!
    Guess you’re not going to get to that burn-time test, and the Giant-Standard comparison… 😞

    No follow up video? Put them next to each side-by-side other so we can see the size.

    We don’t have zippo lighter fluid in my country can I use any other brand with Same fluid “petroleum distillate- naptha”?

    • @jporter1977
      @jporter1977  3 года назад +2

      Probably that will work. Whatever you put in those zippo lighters should do it. Coleman camp fuel could work but it has a light odor.

      @@jporter1977 i have used ‘Lighta’ brand naptha and it worked absolutely great last night.

    Can these handwarmers only be used in the upright position?

    • @martinlewis1015
      @martinlewis1015 4 года назад +6

      Daniel Thomas they do not stand up, you need to hold them up only to fill, once lit they can be in any position

    Maybe you should do a burn test, that would be helpful...

    Are the minis small enough to be put in your shoes?

    • @jporter1977
      @jporter1977  2 года назад

      I think they'd fit under socks. Probably not in a shoe. They do need oxygen to burn.

      They don't fit in a shoe, well atleast mine anyway.

    If you get a bag of platinum bright embers from amazon you'll have enough catalyst material to rebuild the burner for the rest of your life lol

    • @guitarlight3935
      @guitarlight3935 Год назад +1

      That's what I did. It lasts longer, burns hotter, and lights faster and easier in 3 seconds.

      @@guitarlight3935 yeah mine lights just from warming around the burner with a torch and it lasts well over 12 hours on even less fuel its awesome lol

      Do you have a link or something? Trying to get replacements in the Netherlands, but it seems they are very hard to find..

    Exactly how many full cups of lighter fuel does it take to fill the "Giant Peacock Handwarmer to capacity, without over filling it??" With out english instructions, how is one to know this? One full cup? ..two full cups? three full cups? The standard size takes and holds two full cups to capacity without leakage. How many cups does it take to fill the larger "Giant sized Peacock?" It is important to know this as these burners should not ever be over filled. I do know they can be filled with less fuel, but how many cups does it take to fill the Giant sized hand warmer it to its normal full capacity?

    • @brinkee7674
      @brinkee7674 Год назад +1

      It's 2 or 3 but I only ever use 2 at most due to the time I need the heat for
