  • Obviously, this is spearheaded by the release and building of the Bricklink Designer Program set The Old Train Engine Shed, but this could be used to various situations that this might occur. I would not recommend trying this if you are at all unsure about your abilities with power tools, although this might be a fairly benign power tool... But I used an orbital sander to remove the parts of the track that stick out beyond the last stud. I think this worked great and actually went much smoother than I anticipated. I will say that it would be very easy to remove too much and a fine touch and sense of level is definitely key to making it look good. I know they make adapters, but I'm too impatient to way for them to arrive AND I don't have any more room.
    I also installed lights into the set. Most are from Game of Bricks and were just parts that I keep around for things like this. Probably cost about $30 in parts.
    Let me know what you think in the comments? Is this a Lego sin? Was there a better way to do this?

    My name is Travis and I'm an AFOL! I've been serious collecting Lego since 2021. I collect a little bit of everything from Star Wars to Fabuland to Pirates to CMFs. My biggest continual project is my city. The city is currently about 112 baseplates and always in constant evolution. When I started out with the city it was 21 baseplates and I never imagined when I started it would grow to this size. My collection has quickly overtaken my office that I now call the Lego Room. My favorite themes are Vidiyo, Dreamzzz, CMFs, Pirates, and anything I can use in my city.

      I was more concerned with the piece catching one of the holes in the sander and whipping it at me 😂😂

    Why not just swap out the train shed built track for regular Lego track?

    • @_travis_bricks
      @_travis_bricks  Месяц назад

      I could for the side rail, but the one that runs into the shed has a trough under it so it would look odd to have regular track there

      @@_travis_bricks Is there a pit inside the shed, like at JiffyLube?
