Mid 2nd round. That arm length is the reason.

The Packers drafted him because they don’t care as much about arm length. They use a different technique in blocking that doesn’t rely on landing the big punch and knocking back the edge rusher.
This is how the Packer shut down Demarcus Lawrence in 2017 with a Right Tackle named Bryan Bulaga, who had about he same size arms as Jordan Morgan. Bulaga was the best R Tackle in the league.
Morgan already uses some of the techniques of the Packers and is a ready made starter for Line Coach James Campen’s blocking system.

Yes. I definitely agree with you J tuck on that if Jerry Jones and Steven Jones just so happen to pick this player up and put him on the team. I think he would be ready should be ready just in case if Tyrone Smith was to go down. I definitely do believe that he would be ready the step up and play a few games and probably would not miss a step because of how. I see how good he is .

And also he got good hand placement and also Good Feet position when he moves and disengage against a defensive player.

2:52 You said his lack of a punch was a problem. It isn’t. The Packers use James Campen’s technique sometimes called the circle or hug technique. He will avoid having his hands chopped down or swiped by intentionally give up the chest, grabbing the chest plate of the defender’s shoulder pads and lifting up. It isn’t holding if he keeps the defender squared up and the defender can’t get away because he is being held there. It gives up some ground on a bull rush, but when he pulls up on the defender, it robs them of power and helps anchor.
It isn’t a flaw, it is a feature. That is why the Packers picked him. He is a ready made starter in their system with that technique.
It is how Bryan Bulaga shut down Demarcus Lawrence in 2017.

Yes. I like this college football player Because how he plays his position once he starts to disengage with the defense opposition in the way how he moves his hands and hold on to the player Econo remind me a little bit of Tyrone Smith so he could be opposition piece to pick up and also to learn abundant Tyrone Smith as long as he's there he can sit back and watch how he plays his position so when his time comes to take over he should be ready so like I said before he would be a good piece to pick up and put on his Dallas Cowboys football team .

Personally, I prefer a nastier attitude in their OL. I think we need men who play the OL with a bad attitude. More like Big E (Erik Williams, PRE-accident) than Tyron Smith. I know those guys are hard to find but I know a few of the C talent who have that mentality of destroying the man in front of him.
But as long as the player can dominate the player(s) in front of him, then I have no problem.

Draft this kid and make Tyron the swing. Asim Richards might be our eventual RT.

He got the skills but unfortunately not the physical attributes to be a tackle in the nfl. Those trex arms just wont do it. Might be a good guard or in a pinch he can olay tackle if your starter is injured. But not a permanent position for him

Thanks. I wasn't impressed with him at the Senior Bowl. Sloppy technique. I actually liked what I saw in Christian Jones, OT, Texas. He's 6-5, 320, with a 83 7/8" wing span. Can you do one one him?

Arms are UNDER 33". 32 7/8" ARMS. No NFL Tackle has arms as short as his. Look at last years #11 overall pick Peter Skowrinki. All American LT, at the combine he said his arm length had nothing to di with playing Tackle. Lol The Titans drafted him and didn't even let him try out st Tackle. Jordan Morgan will not be. Starting OT in the NFL. Maybe a guard altho he has never played any position other than LT. Its a shame.

His arms are only 3/8ths of an inch shorter than the Packers’ Bryan Bulaga. He was the best R Tackle in the league and shut down Demarcus Lawrence in 2017.
The Packers drafted Morgan because they don’t care as much about arm length. Offensive Line Coach James Campen’s system doesn’t rely on arm length as much and Morgan already uses some of the same techniques.
He can play either position in Green Bay.
