Hope you enjoy it! There are so many aspects to look forward to at this distillery! Hope you are lucky and get Freddie Johnson as your tour guide!! Cheers!
It was I think around 9-10am. We knew we weren't going to get any bottles. There is a FB group that you can join that will help you figure out what the next bottles are. I think it's a fairly regular rotation at the distillery. I'll look to see if I can find it and post here. Also, maybe reach out to @imakarpenter in this thread, they've been there several times so maybe you can get some pointers...
Awesome!! We are blessed to have Blanton's & EHT's so luckily we weren't chasing bottles. But the gear selection was great! Did you buy any non-bottle stuff while you were there?
Yes I bought a bar mat some glasses clothes and other stuff As far as pointers Get there at opening time or an hour ahead like 8 during the week and 10 on Sunday I love this Distillary There is a prediction website called What did Buffalo Trace sell today and prediction for tommorow They use historical data Not always correct but are a lot The last time we went they were predicting Eagle Rare but I told my wife I think maybe it will be Taylor I was right lol
I don't think so but there are a few Facebook groups that sort of "track" what is expected as a release each day. I'll go see if I can find it and post it here.
Not a chance... :-( Seriously the best advice I can give you for a BTAC is to watch your local-ish liquor stores for a lottery. But you can get an EH Taylor and some Weller 107 and SR in KY. Check out our video tour where we visited John O's in Elizabethtown, KY, they had EHT and SR (at $40). Happy hunting!
Well...we already have multiples in our collection already of any BT products, excluding BTAC, of course. So our intent was to truly go visit the gift shop, not buy any bottles. Do you have trouble getting BT in your area?
Never seen it that empty!
thx from South Korea
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Great Video /Thank you
You are welcome!
We were there last week and parked in the exact same spot.
I just booked me tour for May. I'm getting excited.

Great tour. Keep the content coming as a new sub. Cheers and Happy Easter.
Thanks for the sub! Happy Easter to you and your family as well!
I’m calling it chainganga now😊
The gift shop was very nice and a lot to look at. Plenty of stuff to spend a little money on 🤣
Yes it was!
Never saw a single Buffalo at the Trace
Nor I! lol
What time was this that you got there? I'm headed there in a few weeks. Trying to get my plans together.

Can you post some pointers to help people score some bottles at BT?

I know this drive-up and parking lot well :) Always an exciting morning at the Trace. Did it smell delicious the day you were there?
Always!! We love visiting the distillery!! Even if you can't hop on a tour and get a bottle of any BT, it's just a great visit all around!
The word "fortified" means a lot here. It implies the addition of a spirit to the brew. I'm curious, is it carbonated?
Yanno, I don't know the answer to that question. Cheers!
Do they post a release schedule anywhere?
I don't think so but there are a few Facebook groups that sort of "track" what is expected as a release each day. I'll go see if I can find it and post it here.

@chasingneat wow thank you very much!! You rock
@chasingneat do you have a name for the group? I can get that link to work... just got a new phone and it's just not happy yet. Haha

I would like to visit there soon, if I do I would hope, they would have George T Stage, E.H Taylor and Weller available. ☺

The other entrance is for trucks.
Good to know!
Remind me not to go shopping there, the prices are ridiculous "/
It's a gift shop...they're always expensive. Definitely had a lot of interesting things you can easily get caught up in, for sure!
Didn’t get any actual bourbon there? Major fail.
Well...we already have multiples in our collection already of any BT products, excluding BTAC, of course. So our intent was to truly go visit the gift shop, not buy any bottles. Do you have trouble getting BT in your area?
@@chasingneat ah ok, makes sense. Yes, only BT products readily available in the Carolinas is Benchmark.
We really like the Benchmark line! Especially the Full Proof and BIB! Do you have a favorite?
I can get just as tipsy on a $10 bottle of Canadian club "/ don't need to waste money on an over hyped fancy name "/
To each their own. I'm not a huge fan of CC but it is definitely a lot more affordable!
We aren’t drinking to get tipsy. It’s to enjoy a good tasting product that had some thought and work put into it
We don't drink it to get tipsy, we aren't little kids in college. We enjoy the craftsmanship and the product
