Its just your heightened focus focusing on fear, its easy to overcome and when you overcome it you will be in pure bliss. Its as easy as shifting your focus. I find dancing to be the best as it forces you to move, helps loosen the constricting pattern. Make sure to use an extremely positive uplifting song to dance to, crank it up and get your groove on, lose yourself in the flow, welcome to heaven. Works for me every time, just takes a few minuets and i have the music either playing or ready to play right as i start the inhale as either way the positive vibe music will take you even higher than the weed alone

In my teens I discovered that as our mind opens, there is about a 10 minute span where thoughts are being rewired. It’s best to be quiet, go within through this stage because when you try to speak you sound stupid. Therefore I’ve always called it the Stupid/Stoned stage and it is just part of the journey to reaching Being high~💗~

If you’re neurotic like me, I recommend only taking the tiniest puff, then after 30 minutes, do it again (it’s so strong). If you’re freaking out, listen to calming music & completely surrender (Dave Matthew’s Satellite or Norah Jones - Shoot the Moon).

Gotta say i went through anxiety phychosis about 2 half years ago now.. i was and still am ultra scared of it.. i was a heavy weed smoker 13/14 years and all of a sudden i had a weird attack in the shower after i did a fat bong. Came out of no where, and then the next few times i tried smoking through it, it got worse, i dint believe any more that what we were are real nor the world we live in. lucky for me i was surrounded by people that were strong minded n had excellent advice, but my experience was a proper derealisation.. months after not smoking i still got the symptoms like two different shades of colour next to each other would set it off and disbelief that this world wasnt mine that i could control and although i could control what i was doing i was being controlled by conscience thought not my actual thought which sounds nuts...what i realised through the attcks and anxiety attacks is IT CAN NOT KILL YOU, and that holds alot of power, it means its temporary you just need to ride it out.. now im so much better then what i was, all i did was continue what my daily routine was, got used to the attacks and eventually it has faded, most of it is in your head, the more you think about it the worse it is on the other hand the more you focus on heading it straight on the better you are, everything is temporary even addiction, it just takes time.. let yourself breath, dont replace n focus on what you want/where you wnat to be n strive forward, i had drs that wanted to put me on meds, i tried, i could feel what they were doing to me, beta blockers stops your heart from racing, that dint help that just prolonged the recovery.. if you read all this you know what im saying ✌️ keep going

It’s always a bong hit. This happened to me too! I was on a dark beach just starting out into the Atlantic Ocean & seeing lightning clouds in the far distance. The nothingness & I think my eyesight trying it’s hardest to adjust to the far off flashes of light got to me. It messed me up, and I stopped smoking for 2 years after that night I’m just now smoking the tiniest bit. It’s crazy because edibles don’t have this effect on me literally just bongs. Which I never really was a fan of, I’m a joint person. I just happened to take a rip off my coworker’s bong.

A panic attack can happen under any substances or no substances, the poor plant has been under attacks, its good to talk about it, a panic attack, is a bridge held by ropes that opens just when we need it, to cross it, to not keep on holding strong, but feel, really feel, let go of the rage, the holding, the deep fear, the despair, it shows us the feeling, the discernment that we are having but that we refuse to let be seen. The body does not lie to us. The medecine amplifies feelings, either good or bad, it allows to feel fully, feel fully, feel fully...honor yourself and your feelings, life is not a battle, not a race, but a journey on unknown waters, enjoy, feel all you can while you can and be greatful.

guys. that level of panic means it's too much to handle atm for you. you can come back to it. find IFS and richard schwarz has been on pod with aubrey. derealization is your whole system's method of getting away from the way intense and painful situation - natural response to excessive stimulation - it's like brain fog from too much study. lay off the weed and heal yourself. be good to yourself and take care of your body. water is good always. so is sleep. don'r be ashamed if need to see a psychiatrist to get relaxation help and to sleep, your body and brain are fried. this guy is a moron - he's a sweet guy and not talking shit but he's a partial view robot. IFS or gtfo. peace EDIT to add: panic is about the fear of fear. a part of you is scared of the anxiety or the intense sensations that you feel when hyper focusing on internal stuff - who wouldn't, its a lot for anyone. one part of you focusing on another
part of you. the scared part is cool, the part scared of the scared part is cool. no big deal, normal. there is a guy on yt that does IFS DIY stuff (for doing the process without a therapist)

yea check out my other comment i made groovy, it really works for me every time. Let me tell you some more, im just like you. I would describe us as extremely sensitive and probably prone to overthinking things negatively. The weed just heightens that. I will regularly start going down the panic path right at first but i know exactly how to turn it around every time. The flipside of hell is heaven, it just takes a little alchemy. Also, just take a tiny tiny hit, you can always take more, we are sensitive, probably got more receptors or something. That sensitivity is a good thing imo, if you keep smoking you can build a tolerance but i dont recommend it as all the magic is in that highly energetic edge of a cliff place we get to very easily. Get on youtube and learn some basic dance moves, find the most positive music you can find(that will get you thinking positive), and dance (i be singing too a lot of the time). You want to feel amazing, do shit that puts you there, this is how i do it ( and i never thought i would like dancing). Its all about getting in that high vibe positive flow that actually shifts the focus, got to be feelin that shit. Ive given you the key that opens the door every time for me. When you get there, dont be surprised when all kinds of synchronicities and miracles and all manor of strange and fantastic things start happening, dont be afraid of it. Good things are coming for you :)

The strangest part for me is that I was never like this, I could smoke blunts back to back, be high out my mind and still function in bliss. The pandemic was a very dark time in my life and that was what triggered it at first, I was still able to dig myself out that hole but smoking was never the same since. what I'm experiencing now requires a lot more than pure will. I hope this alchemy will be a key, but I know I have a lot more inner work cut out for me even after. Mybe the green lady is done with me for good or at least this phase of my life... we'll see.

@@groovy3443 Happy to help if i can because i felt exactly like you are describing for many years, once my shit turned south it always went south from then on and i never thought i would be able to smoke again. Panic attack every time. Actually it was the pandemic that helped me figure it out, i became determined to figure it out. Your beliefs become your reality so if you dont think it is right for you right now dont even bother trying. But after what i experienced i believe everyone can fix this problem. I got lots of inner work shit to work through too, but im still making it work just fine. Its really just about staying in a positive vibe not going neg. When you get in a really really good mood it becomes really hard to think the negative thoughts that trigger the panic. Treat it just like every other psychedelic, set and setting. I say a prayer right before i smoke, all positive intentions and questions i want answered from the other side and blow the prayer out in smoke. If i have the music playing when i start, the panic usually never even shows up at all. Its just too much fun and so good dancing and singing to happy music when the weed is in you, you just get into this flow with the music and everything and everyone around you, its amazing, negative shit just cant even live there at all.

I’ve had a similar experience, I think it has a lot to do with the grade of the weed. I started smoking in the early 2000s and the weed back then was not as near as potent as the stuff that’s out now. From where I’m from we didn’t have chronic/gas back in the early 2000s. All we had was regular ass weed. I’m sure chronic has always been around in the California area, but in east Texas back then all we had was reggie. It was a mellow type high, but the stuff thats out now goes straight to the head within two tokes and gives me panic attacks.

Ok lmfao here is the real solution, if smoking pot gives you panic attacks DONT SMOKE POT! It's literally not for everybody, especially people with psych issues, no one EVER talks about the dangers of THC and hallucinogens, 2 sides to a coins folks ❤

I started smoking regularly 2 months ago and had a bad attack the first time getting back into it then I started only doing it at night recently and took a two day tolerance break and I hit high again multiple times and it was fine then I had a weird sensation in the right side of my face and it caused a panic attack while I was. Lil high and I threw up and bunch and am still feeling the feeling I’m my face but when I tried to smoke weed the next day after it happened I had the worst panic attack ever so I am taking a break I just wanna know if this is normal or not cuz everything was fine til that happened

I’ve smoked weed every day for 6 years and randomly a couple weeks ago I got a gnarly panic attack / schizophrenic moment ever since then I can barely handle smoking the tiniest amount of weed it was like a flip of a switch my body and mind can’t handle it anymore

It’s hard letting go of weed as I am very dependent on it to sleep / gain an appetite / and calm myself down from anger

I can’t smoke anymore after 3 years straight cause my chest tightens up and the anxiety sets in even after 2 puffs. Came out of no where, just wish I could go back to facing a joint and having a good night

I smoked in the 80s and 90s and none of this existed. It was nothing but great experiences!!
Then I ate a cookie back in 2012 and spent 24 hours in a full anxiety attack! None of it was enjoyable. Different cannabinoids than what I was used to..
