What Shadow Work Really Looks Like (A Fit For Service Film)

- Some people will try to tell you that it’s all love and light. They are full of it. They just don’t see the shit that they are full of! This is the nature of the shadow: it is that which we don’t wish to see. It is true, from the highest divine perspective, all is of Source. Even the shit. From this purview there is a collapse of polarity into a unicity. But that’s not the only world we live in. We live in a world where making love is better than spreading hate, where living with your heart full is better than cowering in fear. In other words, polarity is inescapable.
And so in order to choose the Good, we have to accept and embrace all of the bad. And the only way we can stomach embracing our shadow, is to do it together. That’s what the 2022 Fit For Service summits were about. Coming together to hold each other in both triumph and victory. And this theme will continue to evolve as we roll out our 2023 core program for FFS. Applications are open now until January 10th for the entire year.

Shadow work is by far the best personal development work you can possibly do - but it needs to be done with care as it can be a very intense experience.
Glad this is becoming more mainstream - more awareness of shadow work is much needed in our world

I told Gracie Square Hospital in NYC I needed shadow work and they called me schizophrenic. then a year later i did ayahuasca and felt fine

Dude.....this resonates with me so strongly. I've been doing a lot of this work for the last 10 years and it has been the most painful, confusing, liberating, beautiful, traumatic, joyous experience. This was beautifully presented and I wish that if you're reading this, that you are seen and loved and accepted by your inner self.
Thank you. I needed to read this. I just successfully brought light to my shadow and it was a very long and difficult experience. I resisted for around ten years. I'm not 100% done integrating, but I'm on my way and I feel a significant weight has been removed from my heart.

In the midst of my own journey, I feel such a draw to this work. Before I knew what shadow work was, I embraced it, knowing it held the key to my freedom. Shame ruled over me. It kept me in the dark. It stayed hidden when I tried to live my life, but always in control over my actions. Making every decision from fear. The hate I carried since childhood that only grew. Hatred for myself and what others had done to me. Now that my eyes have been opened, I see everyone for who they are, what plagues them, and a knowing that I carry the ability to help set them free. I grew up in a Christian home. I’m a musician and vocalist. I was a worship leader for many years. But, when I entered into a space of worship, I had an ability to connect with God that others couldn’t. I didn’t understand why this was, and never judged it. Learning about Spirit and Source, and tangibly feeling the connection with all life, catapulted me into a new realm that had no definition in everything I was taught. Working with plant medicine REALLLLLYYYYYY opened Pandora’s Box. 😂 I have been searching for a community to connect with, because my current community of Christian believers would condemn me to hell for my change in understanding. 😅 I would love to be in the midst of this incredible life event that you all have created with FFS. I hope for our lines to cross one day soon. ❤ 21:13

In a way of realisation that I do feel alone on this journey and lack courage to overcome the judgement and suppression that I put upon myself when so many want to see me share my gifts that they can see in plain sight.

Aubrey , I respect the work you and many do in this field of healing but I don't agree that someone can't heal themselves to the point that they can create and feel that divine love that we all are on their own . And yes fellowship in a community of love is powerful but fellowship in a true divine communion is something that I often struggle to express 🙏💚🌍
The opening speech really hit. Was broken up with by a girl i thought i was going to marry in the past year, and my reaction has largely been EXACTLY the topic: my MO of late has been largely to recluse into my own bubble of comfort because i’ve been fearing another rejection of that magnitude.
