This video is helping me. Better than the other video's I have seen. I am currently using Main Stage for a live production, this video has helped tremendously! This setup advice is definitely going to help. Thank You!

Seeing a lot of unanswered questions in the comments here, but I believe the patch up-down buttons are now a default part of most Mainstage templates!

Hi. My drum pads are in sync with notes on keyboard (c-g#). when I assign something to drum pads, that assigned patch loads when I play c-g# on keyboard.
How to stop my keys to do the exact same thing like the drum pads.

How'd you make those triangles underneath the buttons?

hi, thanks for this helpful video! I see that you use a lot of splits/layering like me. Did you have issues with Mac performance when you have 20-30 patches like this? I wonder if Ableton Live is less resources hungry for such purposes.
I had some performance issues with MainStage, but I used old MacBook Air. Now, with 2013' Pro with 4GB Ram and i5 2.4Ghz I use Ableton with no problem. Do you think it's worth risking MainStage again?

Thank you. Question.... what if you want to skip around from let’s say.... program 1 to program 34. I’m assuming that if I use a keyboard with a number pad I could that , correct?

    Thanks for this video!
I have one doubt: when I change the patch the sound of the previous patch stops playing and it is impossible to make a smooth transition between them sometimes. Is there any way to solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance!

Hi, thanks for the video! I am considering to change my two keyboard setup (Korg Kronos and Korg pa4x) to mainstage, but I'm not sure about one thing: can you program Mainstage in the way that I press a set in setlist mode on touchscreen in my Kronos, and than with that press I change a specific patch in the mainstage? So to be clear: I change a patch on Kronos and that specific patch is calling a specific patch in the mainstage. I understand that you can change patches with up and down buttons, but I need specific patch in mainstage connected with a specific patch in Kronos. Is it possible, please help! Thanks!!
