Harvey's intonation is unique due to the fact that she's Japanese + Australian. Overall it made a very unique intonation whenever she speaks english. The best part is all the girls are learning quick and fast english language. Don't worry about the subtitles anymore cause just Tape#1, Tape#2 (both you had already seen) and Vox #4 are not full English and don't have subtitles. All the others Tapes and Vox are full English and/or have subtitles as well (and all the songs are full english too)
They do have writers. But they also have input on things. That's one of the things I like about Simon. He wants the girls to have a voice. I don't care if they write everything personally. It takes nothing away from the fact that you can tell what they're doing is really in them. There's no fake out coached swag. A lot of their influence are 90s and 2k hip hop and R&B artists. I think that's what gravitated me to them. But they don't confine themselves to one genre. You'll see once you dive more into the catalog. Nine of the songs sound the same. I must admit, I got a vibe that you were primarily a rap guy. If you are into the vocalists check out Vox 5. It's the one that will give you a taste of all three singers. Ok here’s a breakdown of my experience being an AlphaZ thru Interviews & BTS. They have a hand in the raps but being a mixtape. They can’t get credit bc it’s a sample beat. Maya n Cocona got credited for lyrics for Show You Can. They have been learning Dance , Music , Korean & English since 2017. They have had 1 on 1 with rapping n Vocal training thru the documentary. In an Interview. They played a song n the girls mention how they like how the minor beat kicks in then the vocals so they understand the science in songs. When they dance. Choreographers has mentioned them hitting off the vocals main n minor beats individually then sync up later so they understand music. I can only guess Maya,Harvey, JURIN has a good understanding w/ rapping but Simon/CEO n Producer mentioning Cocona is different coming from a rapper of American born n raised then went to KOR to be an idol says a lot. They write in English n listening to tons of American music. They have a good understanding of English but as a 3rd language & being in KOR which they still need to master that language. They don’t have time to speak it. As for the rhyme schemes n double entendres. That’s still up in the air as the writers are American so that’s still a debate but I know that they are getting exposed with the talents that they have and we are still learning what these girls full capabilities are. These are all true of what I have experienced w/ XG
