I used the same jig for flounder fishing but i used a steel leaderline because they have razor sharp teeth and i also bent the hook 180 degrees because the ribbonfish attack their prey from underneath. Just keep the jig midway in the water and consistently moving so the ribbonfish have room to attack. At night i attach a mini green glowstick to the leaderline to excite the fish to attack.
