Hello sir. Im planning on starting a basil farm here in vancouver BC. Would you be kind making a video about the nutrients you use in the water and the amount of artificial light required to grow in the winter. Thank you.
ruclips.net/video/IvqN3mYr9w0/видео.html There is a video I made a while back. I'll make an update video someday soon. As far as light, as much as you can possibly afford lol. Here is a blog post I wrote that may answer a lot of your questions. greenease.us/blogs/greenease/year-round-hydroponic-growing
I started growing 6 basil plants from seedlings. The foliage does not look nearly like normal basil plants. They are quite stalky and the leaves are sharp instead of round. Do you have to do any pruning for your basil or are they sold well before they reach the stalky state?
You don’t have to thin out the seedlings as they grow? I thought you’re only are allowed to grow one seed when per container. Would appreciate your response.
We aim for 6 to 10 seeds per Plug on the basil. Not all of those will germinate and out of the ones that germinate a few will get shaded out by the others. So you end up with four or five strong plants. We don’t take time to thin them
Its awesome but the packaging anoys me for such an easy plant to grow, so much plastic just for a small amount and we all know how much basil shrinks in cooking
Super Sweet. Thanks a bunch. You just earned a subscriber. Peace and Blessings to you.
As always, incredible operation. That basil looks delicious.
Thanks!
Thanks for your time of instructions!
No problem! If there's something you’d like to learn more about, I’d be glad to make a video about it.

do we need permit to sell?
It helps make more sales if you do. We are state inspected here in Wyoming. It’s the same guys that go and inspect restaurants. It’s free.

The sooner you Yanks adopt the metric system (like the rest of the world), the better.
