That’s a good shout regarding the fish tank! I’ve got some old callipers from the Honda which were caked in rust. Dunked one in to see how it came out and it’s like new! Very chuffed as I’ll probably be able to rebuild it rather than buy a new one
@@Roverjoe yeah I used Bilt Hamber products to do my DC2-R restoration. Now I keep the anti corrosion part topped up using Lanoguard all in and over it
I've used Bilt Hamber products for a few years, used the Deox-C but don't use it on case hardening as it removes it, I also use a lot is their Hydrate 80 rust preventor
Cheers Joe! Yeah they are amazing really pleased with how it’s all coming together now. The plan is to get all the welding on the rear of the car sorted so that I can get all the stuff back together fuel tank in etc so the car can move again. Then I’ll do the rest of the sill at the front and also the floors. Still quite away to go 😭
It's good on brake calipers. They came out like new. Also I used a tropical fish tank heater to keep the solution at 25C. Left mine in for a week.
