Mk1’s graphics are absolutely beautiful but mk11 looks like a literal real person. But like usual, graphics are most likely subject to change

Mk11 is so nostalgic to me for some reason, even more than 9 and X
Particle effects, animation and color goes to MK1, but the character models in MK11 are unparalleled albeit with a lack of texture on some models creating that overly smooth look. But there’s no doubting the realism of the models themselves. I wonder if they used actual face models like they did in MK11 or if they made them from scratch (which would make a lot of sense for the disparity between quality).
for mk1, they did base some of the characters of their VA(I think), examples being Li Meri looking like her VA(Kelly Hu), and Tanyas looking like Cherise Booth(I think, not really sure abt Tanyas VA)

I disagree. The fidelity on the characters clothing and hair is better in mk1. Plus the stages look more visually interesting and has more detail than mk11. The lighting improved a lot plus some stages has SSR (Screen Space Reflections) like Cage Mansion which makes it so much more beautiful. I would say MK1 has better graphics
I just played mk1, the animation keeps getting glitched, idk what's with this game, mk1 is so weird, 11 is still better so far

Mk11 was doing too much and it lacked the martial art's honor vibe the classic MK 1 to 3 fatalities had. It was too ridiculous even though it has some gems that should be kept. MK1 fatality designs has the same philosophy as the 90s mk games.
@@realamericannegro977 Actually MK1 honors the og games very well. And the veteran MK fans have nothing to complain. Im fairly new to this community so i like mk11 too. Mkx was my first mortal kombat to take things into perspective.

@shiloallard9790 yeah, like what they did with mkx. Since it's not so grounded like mk11 it has this slight cartoony look. But those graphics are still amazing

@carrlitos_9554 mkx was not colorful, but it still had a cartoonish feel to it. I know it doesn't make sense in what I'm saying, but "cartoonish" is the best way I can explain it.

MK11 is way better in every aspect in terms of Gameplay, character costumisation, variations, skins, fatal blows, krushing blows and roster !
The fact that theres a debate on which one has better graphics says a lot. MK11 had nex gen graphics amd MK1 barely improved on it if at all...
Mk1 is cool but so much colors, it's like Diablo III. Need dark, underground colors, I think.
The animation, stages you fight in & the graphics are amazing in mk11...shame the game is a grind kind of...especially to get brutalities & intro/outros...which were beautiful to look at...they really made you work for it.
I feel like that’s what made it rewarding once you got it. The grind wasn’t hard but it was decent so it felt good to collect all intros/ outros and brutalities
the graphic jump from MKX to MK11 was huge now the graphic jump from MK11 to MK1 is imperceptible

Ppl be expecting something more realistic than realism in a Video Game. The graphic jump from mkx to 11 was really good, but don't keep expecting that. Thats as real as it gets, and I like that they took a step back in terms of how realistic they look.
They really did us dirty ... the gameplay graphics is just ps4 level at best
@@Sansastories RUclips doesn't capture how good mk1 really looks. Been watching videos on it all month, now playing the bets can say itlooks better, the effects and blood were improved. Lighting particles and stages are way more dynamic.

The devs should add 3 fatalities on mk1 1 is an og fatality and some should be longer and more creative

I wish they made the fatalities less cartoonish fro MK1. For example, not being able to pull out someones heart of spinal column with such ease. They should work for it a bit! Make it feel a bit more visceral and meaty- not like people are made of cake.
I strongly believe Neatherealms have already started working on MK1 right after the launch of MK11. There are a lot of similarities between the two, the most peculiar was the height and body size of all characters are mostly the same.

I think that we all would have preferred 70$ of content on mk11 instead of this clone of it with 0 changes...
Honestly there isn't much of a graphics upgrade b/w 11 and 1 which was expected 🤔 ... But it looks different. And 1 looks more like a advanced 3D animation type which comes for movies and 11 looks more realistic that is all 🧐

@@Eyeyorot i‘m just talking about visuals! For me Mk11 had much better graphic ..it reminds me on the original MK1 where the graphics was real. I don‘t know about the story of mk1 but ..i am dissapointed how it looks! Some kind of street fighter with to much color and fatalitys

@@DonYoGi8331 No man, MK 1 uses Unreal 4, not 5. And using new engine doesn't mean it will be better. The team has to also be ready to use it correctly. Like if they had a better team in mk11, doesnt meter if in mk1 is unreal 5, becouse the artist is more important than the tool always. And it seems like the artists responsible for the characters modeling, and also the facial expression team, may be diferen than in mk 11. So for me the only point mk 1 does look clearly better than in mk11 is the lighting, everything is more clear and defined now, but if you were to take the charcter models from mk 11 and put in mk 1 then you would see that mk 11 character is actually better, specially in the same lighting condition. Not saying mk1 looks bad, mad the models look 1% worst, at least.

Mk1's visuals are more balanced, especially the character designs and the fatalities; which are toned down for the better. Mk11 was doing too much althought it had some gems. MK1 legit feels like 90s MK but with the look of a PS3 era Midway game before the studio shutdown and became NRS. Overall it is a much better visual presentation.
MK1 90's MK? How so, really? It's way brighter, modern backgrounds...

Honestly, the graphics look better on mk1. However, it's WAY more colorful than mk11, which gives it a more catoony look. Don't know why they felt the need to deviate from the darks and neutrals that mk11 had.

MK 11 hit notes so high that I cant say 1 is much better other than some graphical enhancements. Looks great but nothing about it hits as hard. They better keep some of the actors they brought in for 11 and get the actual voices for Terminator

Scorpion`s fatality in mk1 is inspired from ninja scroll. When the giant slide on the sword with his forehead.
I just wish that they made the X-Rays more tolerable though…like a back breaker or a hard face slap and then save the real fatality towards the end

What made MK stand out from all the other games was the realism feel even from the original MK those models were from actual people so it had a realism feel to it now it seems like they care less about the graphics and are going for a fortnight toony look Smh I have no complaints about mk 11 graphics gameplay graphics were off the chart but the cutscenes looked toony now the gameplay and cut scenes look toony

As far as the fatalities go its 50 50 except mk1 has better ending camera angles vs mk11 where they slow motion the ending

Mk11 seems to have more fine details on hair, skin, cloth-material and the like, which is a shame. MK1 still looks gorgeous tho, especially the stages, with the multi-layer backdrops.

Sadly I think Mk1 is going to be a step down for me. I don’t like the chameo system and the fatalities are worse imo, shorter and less creative

I think it's cause people complained that they were too long. But I get why it's different for another reason. Unlike mk11 mk1 isn't themed around time, so there's no pause mid fatality. I think they're good. But I know that there's going to be better fatalities. We've only seen 1 for each playable character which was only 4. And we can't deny the fact that Liu Kang's fatal is God tier. It's probably the best out of all his recent ones
Sonya, jax, and kano are kameo. They are like mini fatalitys those don't count
I think the fatality is shorter for better pacing, long fatality made people eventually just skipped them over time anyway. I hope the story is long and interesting though.
@@Raz0712 i think a big part of casual audience go to Mk solely for the fatalities/story it’s a big draw. Maybe if the fatalities are skippable online
